Brad Guzan has been left off the United States' roster this international break with what is being reported as an injury. However, the nature and extent of that injury is a mystery.

Aston Villa will be hoping that there isn't anything to this story. Guzan has been a rock at the back for them for a while now, and that play is finally starting to translate into clean sheets. Sadly, the team can't seem to score goals while keeping them out at the same time.

Marouane Fellaini will miss Manchester United's two Week 37 matches as part of his three match ban picked up in the 1-1 draw with Leicester City last weekend.

The suspension means that the Red Devils will be choosing between Michael Carrick, Morgan Schneiderlin and Ander Herrera in the two-man holding midfield. The record says that Schneiderlin SHOULD be a no-brainer given how United have performed with and without him in the starting eleven but Louis Van Gaal hasn't made Schneiderlin a permanent fixture despite that fact. Any combination of the three remains a distinct possibility as United continue to vie for a spot in the top four.

The 17-year-old forward/attacking midfielder played well enough in his Premier League debut to start again for the Baggies against the Cherries in Week 37 action.

With Saido Berahino likely on his way out of the club over the summer Leko is worth watching heading into next season. He isn't likely to be exceptional this coming weekend but managers, especially those managing draft teams, should look in to the match to try to get a sense of how likely Leko is to break through next season with Albion in desperate need of better attacking options that aren't in Tony Pulis' doghouse.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain re-injured his knee during his return from his previous knee injury and will miss both Arsenal's final two matches and the European Championships.

With so many players threatening his position for both Arsenal and England, it's hard to imagine that Oxlade-Chamberlain would have seen the light of day even if he'd been healthy but the new injury removes all doubt. With rumors swirling about a potential transfer over the summer one wonders whether there will be a market for the former Southampton trainee due to the long string of injuries that has set his progress back. Could he be Arsenal's "New Diaby"?

Per Mertesacker will miss Arsenal's final two matches with a hamstring injury.

The German center back only recently came back into the side after Gabriel was given a run of, largely unsuccessful, starts in the Premier League. Mertesacker was back for Arsenal's clean sheet win over Norwich City last weekend but will miss this weekend's big showdown with Manchester City that could lock up a guaranteed spot in the Champions League group stages. Presumably Gabriel will return to the starting line-up in Mertesacker's absence.

After accepting the charge of violent conduct, Mousa Dembele has been suspended by the FA for the next six games, ending the midfielder's season and carrying into the beginning of next season.

Dembele wanted to appeal for a lesser punishment but he gets a ban that is somewhat predicatable - one that is longer than the typical three match ban but one not as long as the ban Luis Suarez received for biting. So now we know where eye-gouging falls in the punishment spectrum. Dembele will miss Tottenham's final two matches this season and the first four next season. Depending on scheduling with league and cup play, he may only miss the first three league games of 2016/2017. Regardless, it is a major blow for Spurs as the Belgian has been an integral part of the club's success. Ryan Mason figures to fill in for the last two games this season against Southampton and Newcastle.

Eddie Howe revealed in his press conference ahead of AFC Bourenmouth's match against West Bromwich Albion that center back Sylvain Distin is out with an injured back and is likely finished playing for the season.

How also confirmed that Adam Smith will not be playing again this season as he continues to see specialists for treatment of his hernia. Max Gradel's status is unchanged from last week. He has made progress with a calf issue but remains a doubt for this weekend. Distin had a run in the side where he started nine consecutive games from mid-September through late November but he has not started before or since, making three appearances in which two were one-minute cameos. This could turn out to be an unceremonious end to the 38 year old veteran's playing career.

Rafa Benitez announced that right back Daryl Janmaat is available for Newcastle United's trip to Aston Villa tomorrow, while Fabricio Coloccini remains out.

Vurnon Anita was also declared fit as he shook off a minor injury during the week. This will be an interesting call for Benitez when he names the XI against Villa. Janmmaat's spot in the team was arguably safer than anyone's during the majority of the season and in his career with the Magpies, but when he last played the team were hitting rock bottom with the loss to Southampton. Since Anita has filled the role, Newcastle has been getting results and Anita has been impressive. Janmaat owners in draft leagues should not expect their man to start and continue to look elsewhere for defensive coverage.

Speaking ahead of Arsenal's Sunday match with Manchester City, Arsene Wenger confirmed that Mikel Arteta would be leaving the club after the season.

It is no secret that Mikel Arteta has been declining rapidly as a player for a couple of seasons. With his contract expiring this summer his time as a player at the Emirates is coming to a close. Rumors have him joining Pep Guardiola when he takes over the reins at this weekend's opponent Manchester City.

Swansea City will not have regular starters Gylfi Sigurdsson or Neil Taylor available this weekend against West Ham United as they are suffering from shoulder and groin injuries, respectively.

While the Swans have not enjoyed what they would consider a productive season, they have been very fortunate in the injury department for the past nine months. This weekend will test their mettle as they take on a focused West Ham side while missing their top goal scorer and their ever-present left back. While they offered an encouraging showing in last week's win over Liverpool at home, it looks to be tough sledding from a fantasy perspective when they travel to Boleyn Ground. Kyle Naughton will like start in place of Taylor with Angel Rangel the opposite full back. Modou Barrow could be in line for a recall to help bolster the attack in the absence of Sigurdsson.

Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew confirmed that he won't risk Wilfried Zaha this weekend as the winger recovers from a knock.

The priority for the Eagles appears to be the FA Cup final against Manchester United on May 21, although Pardew said the focus remains on finishing out the league season: "We are trying to go into that game (Stoke) with our full force, like we did last weekend. Wilf still has a slight problem which I think is going to keep him out for this game and Southampton. Hopefully he'll be fine for the final, if selected." Zaha missed last weekend's loss to Newcastle with Pardew opting for a three-man central midfield. But with Mile Jedinak and Yannick Bolasie both doubts, Bakary Sako and Joe Ledley could have a bigger role to play this week against Stoke.

Mark Hughes will check on Bojan Krkic after he took a bang on his foot today: "He probably won't train tomorrow but we hope he will be OK this weekend."

Bojan was an unused substitute last time out as Hughes made a number of changes to help freshen his side against Sunderland. Peter Crouch and Charlie Adam did well: "I was delighted," said Hughes who confirms "both are in my thoughts for the game." Glen Johnson "is training" but this weekend will come too soon for the full-back. He should be available for the final game "we hope." Marc Wilson’s domestic campaign is over as he won’t be fit enough to play in either of the two remaining games. However, he should be available for the Republic of Ireland. A decision on Marko Arnautovic will be made closer to kick off while a groin problem continues to hamper Shay Given.
