Manchester United have said that F Wayne Rooney is not for sale.

It's been reported in recent weeks that Rooney has requested a move away from Old Trafford, which is the second time in three years he's asked. Rooney has struggled with injuries and fitness but is still a talented and versatile player. The club has decided that it will not move him despite his wishes. Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich are said to be interested in his services.

Substitute Marcus Rashford's first appearance of the season proved a huge point to Mourinho when he dug his team out with his late winner.

However, fantasy managers should not panic about Zlatan Ibrahimovic's blank display. United lacked creativity in the first half, struggling to break down Hull's organised defence, yet it was Ibra who came closest with a header from a Martial cross going marginally over. The introduction of Mkhitaryan brought real impetus to United's play and brought Zlatan more into the game. The Swede ended with no shots on target but had many efforts blocked. His service in the area was also good. Even the best have off days, don't panic!

Southampton have signed a back-up keeper for Fraser Forster and Alex McCarthy in the form of 35 year old veteran Stuart Taylor.

The former Arsenal, Man City and Reading man has arrived on a free transfer, having been released by his last club, Leeds United, in May of 2015. In spite of his age, Taylor is yet to make 100 senior appearances, having served as backup at every club he has played for. He is a Premier League winner from his time at Arsenal. He won a league winners' medal in 2001-02 having qualified for it with his 10th appearances as a sub in the 85th minute of the game. Taylor replaces Paolo Gazziniga who moved to Rayo Vallecano on loan, and Kelvin Davis who retired, at St. Mary's.

Michail Antonio scored for the second straight match but West Ham failed in their bid to comeback from a two goal deficit and eventually fell to Manchester City, 3-1.

Between the class of Manchester City and the lack of firepower for the Hammers due to injury it was a completely one-sided affair in the first half with the Citizens dominating in every way. They built an early two-goal lead and looked primed to run away with the match convincingly. However, City took the foot off of the gas during the second half and allowed West Ham to get back in the game in the 58th minute, when Antonio headed home from an Arthur Masuaku cross. City were able to hang on though, and added another goal in stoppage time to put the game to bed. The Hammers will look forward to the upcoming international break in the hopes that they can get some players healthy over the next two weeks.

It was touch and go for a stretch in the second half but Manchester City were able to make their early cushion stand and defeat West Ham United, 3-1, with a brace from Raheem Sterling.

City looked to pick up right where they left off last weekend when they put four past Stoke City by scoring twice in the opening eighteen minutes. In the 7th minute, David Silva picked out Nolito on the left who had time and space to feed Sterling a cross in the box for a one-time finish. Eleven minutes later, Kevin de Bruyne sent a free kick into the area and the ball was headed home by an unmarked Fernandinho. City were in cruise control but West Ham managed to pull one back just before the hour mark to make a game of it. Sterling would put the game to bed in stoppage time though, latching on to a Silva pass, worked his way around the keeper and tucked it home from a tight angle. After a forgettable first season for the Citizens, Sterling has found new life under Pep Guardiola, sitting on two goals and two assists through the first three league games.

According to Sky Sports sources, Tottenham's Nacer Chadli is set to join West Bromwich Albion on a season-long loan.

Spurs seem determined to move Chadli away permanently, as he has not been able to make the bench for any of their first three league matches, but with the transfer window nearing its close, they may be willing to settle on a loan move for now. West Brom are definitely keen on a wide attacking player, having shown interest earlier in the week on getting Southampton's Jay Rodriguez on loan. Chadli would certainly see playing time under Tony Pulis and could make for a potentially lucrative pickup in fantasy draft leagues for those looking for help in their midfield.

Palermo have made an offer to Liverpool for the transfer of Mario Balotelli and is giving the oft-maligned striker 24 hours to decide if he wants to join the club.

Palermo is Balotelli's birth city so, if he has any sentimentality in that regard, perhaps he will say "yes" to the arrangement. The sticking point for him would be a reduction in his weekly wages but that would seem to be the case wherever he winds up and the Reds are certainly going to do whatever it takes to offload him. Everton, West Brom and Crystal Palace have also been linked to Balotelli recently but it would seem a more ideal fit for the Italian to head back to Serie A to get his career back on track.

Real Madrid are looking to deal out playmaking midfielder Isco and reports indicate that Tottenham would be the likeliest destination for the Spanish international.

According to the Daily Mirror, Isco could be loaned out to Spurs for the current season with the option to make it a permanent move next summer. Madrid need to trim their squad and one of Isco or James Rodriguez are the candidates for an exit, but the club's president has let it be known to manager Zinedine Zidane that he would prefer the latter stays. Chelsea have interest in the 24-year-old as well but Tottenham are apparently leading the charge for Isco's services. It would be a major addition to their attack and would call into question what has been rather set attacking four. Isco would have to find playing time around current regulars Christian Eriksen, Erik Lamela and Dele Alli. It is a problem Mauricio Pochettino would certainly like to have, especially ahead of a Champions League campaign,

A deal is in place and nearing completion that would see Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford join Burnley FC on a season-long loan deal.

According to manager Sean Dyche, "It's just a few i's getting dotted and t's getting crossed' before the deal for Bamford gets done. The Clarets would mark the third top flight club the Blues have loaned the young striker out to since last summer, and his spells at Crystal Palace and Norwich City did little for his development. He only made thirteen combined appearances for the Eagles and Canaries, failing to score a single goal. There is still belief in the 22-year-old though, who was fantastic for Middlesbrough in the Championship during the 2014-2015 season, scoring seventeen goals in 39 appearances. Dyche prefers to start two forwards and Andre Gray looks to have one of those spots nailed down. If Bamford is to challenge for starts, it would likely come at the expense of Sam Vokes. He will probably bump Lucas Jutkiewicz in the squad's depth chart.

West Bromwich Albion did what it does best Sunday, squeeze out a point from a scoreless draw in a 0-0 stalemate with Middlesbrough.

But the Saido Berahino saga continues to unravel with reports suggesting Berahino is now prepared to see out the final year of his contract before sealing a lucrative free transfer next summer. But due to all the rumors surrounding the forward during the final weekend before the transfer deadline, manager Tony Pulis said he benched Berahino to "clear his head". Meanwhile, the Baggies managed 12 shots but couldn't find the back of the net for the first time this season. In other news, Jonny Evans overcame injury to start while new signing Brendan Galloway made his first start since arriving on loan from Everton.

Joshua King scored a goal with his lone shot on target against Crystal Palace.

King's goal was a real beauty. The striker found himself in a good position in the 11th minute and gave Bournemouth the early lead by smashing a volley into the back of the net. The chance was well-taken by King, while Crystal Palace will be upset about conceding considering the chance came after they failed to clear a corner.
