Frazier Campbell scored a late consolation goal against Manchester City as he continued his assault on Manchester teams.

Former Manchester United player Frazier Campbell continued to punish the Manchester teams with his fourth goal in three matches against City and United. The problem for Cardiff and Campbell is that he's only scored one goal (vs. Sunderland) in all of his other matches this season. Perhaps Ole Gunner Solskjaer's Man United history will convince Campbell that all of Cardiff's future matches involve a Manchester team. In other Cardiff news, new signing Magnus Wolff Eikrem had the assist on Campbell's goal after coming in as a substitute in the 78th minute.

Hull City have added 3 players to their threadbare squad. Having signed Mason, Marshall and Will Keane in their first summer signings only 2 days ago, they have now added another trio to their ranks.

Mbokani arrives at the KCOM Stadium on a season long loan from Dynamo Kiev. The Congo international will hope to fire his team to safety this term after his 7 goals in 29 appearances weren't enough during his time at Norwich last season. 21 year old midfielder James Weir has signed for the club from Man United signing a 3 year deal for an undisclosed fee. He has made only one senior appearance in his career to date. Marcus Henriksen is a Norwegian international arrives at Hull from Dutch club AZ Alkmaar. He scored 12 times and assisted another 7 in 28 league games last year. He also has form this term having scored 2 goals in 3 appearances in the Eredisie already. All 3 should be available to play in Hull's next game versus Burnley on September 10th.

Tottenham Hotspur have completed the signing of Moussa Sissoko from Newcastle United for a fee of £30 million.

Sissoko had been looking to leave the club since their relegation at the end of last season. Spurs' lack of aggression in attack was clear in their opening games of the season and Mauricio Pochettino has moved to address this after failing to capture Zaha from Crystal Palace earlier in the week. The Argentine will hope that French international Sissoko will bring the necessary pace, power and directness that his team have lack. His attributes should compliment Eriksen, Kane and Lamela well and combine nicely with Dele Alli, who is similar in some aspects. Sissoko's apparent lack of consistent application application while on Tyneside will be a worry far fans. His standing on the touchline and not getting involved will not work in the high intensity Spurs tactics. He will certainly take time to settle in at White Hart Lane, however if he can reach the performance levels he showed at Euro 2016, he will be a fine asset for Spurs.

Tottenham have announced the signing of Georges-Kevin N'koudou on a five-year deal from Marseille for a fee of around £11 million.

N'Koudou scored 10 goals in 41 total appearances for Marseille last season. The French Under-21 international played primarily on the left wing for Marseillie, where he scored nine goals and five assists in 35 total appearances. N'Koudou, Spurs' third signing of the summer, adds needed depth for Mauricio Pochettino in his club's return to the Champions League and will provide competition on the left flank for Heung-Min Son.

West Ham has confirmed defender Alvaro Arbeloa as its only deadline day signing with the Spaniard joining on a free transfer.

The 33-year-old was not re-signed by Real Madrid this summer after spending the last six seasons with Los Galacticos. During this time, after spending two-and-a-half years at Liverpool, Arbeloa won nearly everything there is to win in world football: a domestic title and cup, UEFA Champions League, a World Cup and two European championships. Said the Spanish international: "For me, this is a great chance to be back in England and in the Premier League, which is a fantastic league and I want to put myself here again. This is a big Club and a great Club with fantastic players and a great coach."

Eddie Howe has finalized a season-long loan for Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere.

This is a huge deal for the Cherries. If Wilshere can stay healthy then he's a massive improvement over anyone that the Cherries currently have in midfield. He could conceivably boost the performances of Callum Wilson, Jordan Ibe and Josh King as well as producing strong statistics of his own.

Tony Pulis continues to go against type and bring in outside backs as Allan Nyom joins Brendan Galloway at the Hawthorns.

OK, let's not get crazy in assuming that Tony Pulis is going to go away from his favored four center back alignment. Brendan Galloway can play both CB and on the outside and none of the starting center backs have actually gone anywhere. The arrival of Nyom is likely a signal that Pulis is looking for a potential change of pace based on match-up and match situation. You can't say that he isn't at least trying to change things up a little bit.

The Liverpool version of the Mario Balotelli saga has come to an end with the confirmation of a transfer to Nice.

The powers-that-be at Liverpool will be thrilled to have the mercurial Italian forward off of their books and out of their hair. They certainly took a bath on both the transfer fee that saw him arrive and the wages he earned while at Anfield but at least he will no longer dominate a disproportionate percentage of the headlines compared to his (lack of) playing time. The Premier League will generate fewer headlines for his absence but his absence will barely be noticed on the pitch.

Stoke City have bolstered their defense with the signing of Dutch international Bruno Martins Indi from Porto.

Martins Indi is a significant signing for a Potters' defense that has struggled in the early weeks of the 2016-17 campaign. The central midfield trio of Glenn Whelan, Joe Allen and Giannelli Ibula haven't provided sufficient coverage and the center backs have been a bit of a liability. The arrival of Martins Indi should help solve one of those two problems and, hopefully, lift some of the burden on the midfield and allow them to focus more on improving a thus far fairly impotent attack. With opponents likely to be attacking the Potters more than defending, Martins Indi should have more than his share of opportunities for tackles, interceptions, aerials, and clearances.

Manchester City continued its deadline day clear-out by loaning out defender Eliaquim Mangala to La Liga side Valencia.

The 24-year-old defender joined Manchester City from Porto in the summer of 2014 for a world-record fee for a defender—more than Chelsea selling David Luiz to Paris Saint-Germain when rights fees are included. However, Mangala did not fit into the plans of new manager Pep Guardiola with John Stones being added to the mix earlier this summer. Mangala's loan adds to three loans on the day for the Sky Blues with forward Wilfried Bony heading to Stoke City and midfielder Samir Nasri going to Sevilla.

Chelsea has made its fourth signing of the summer with a deadline day move for Fiorentina defender Marcos Alonso.

With all the deadline day drama surrounding the return of Paris-Saint Germain defender David Luiz, Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has signed his first defender in Alonso to a five-year contract through the 2021 season in a £20 million deal. The versatile defender is no stranger to the Premier League, playing under Gus Poyet on loan at Sunderland in 2014. Said Alonso: "It was an easy decision for me to make when I heard the club were interested in signing me. My family and close friends know Chelsea is the club I have dreamed about playing for so I’m really excited about the challenge and I'm looking forward to working with my new team-mates."

There hasn't been any confirmation of a deal from either side but reports have Jack Wilshere leaning toward a loan deal with Bournemouth over Crystal Palace or Roma.

The Cherries need a creative force in the center of the park and the word is that Eddie Howe has impressed Jack Wilshere to the point that he is leaning toward joining the south coast club over a variety of other suitors. Wilshere will certainly play as often as he is fit if he signs on with the Cherries and will certainly feel the pressure of trying to keep them out of the relegation battle. His expectations for playing time and productivity go up exponentially if this deal goes through although the ever-present risk of injury will still remain with Wilshere.
