French giants, Paris Saint-Germain, have made a deal with Newcastle United over the transfer of midfielder Yohan Cabaye.

The deal happened quickly, even after manager Alan Pardew had named Cabaye in his squad to travel to Norwich. Now, instead of facing the Canaries, Cabaye will be having a medical in Paris. Newcastle United, the Premier League, and fantasy managers, are losing a top-class player. Hatem Ben Arfa could come into the Newcastle side, but he won't bring the same application on both sides of the ball as Cabaye, while Vurnon Anita isn't as strong of an attacker.

Manchester City have agreed to a season long loan of Alvaro Negredo to Valencia with a commitment by the Spanish club to agreee to an eventual permanent move for a transfer fee believed to be in the neighborhood of £30million.

With the emergence of Stevan Jovetic this season, Negredo found himself fourth in the pecking order at the striker position and this move should give him more playing time. Valencia will have to wait a bit for his services as he currently recovering from a foot injury. Obviously, there must be mitigating circumstances around this deal but if all goes according to plan, Negredo will be officially out of the Premier League to begin next season.

Queens Park Rangers have Niko Kranjcar for a second season on loan after an agreement was made with parent club Dynamo Kyiv.

Kranjcar was a successful loanee at Loftus Road last season, helping Harry Redknapp guide the club to promotion from the Championship. Of course, the two have a history going back to Redknapp's days at Tottenham. Speaking of Spurs, former teammate Sandro will be in midfield as well. Sandro's spot in midfield would appear fairly nailed on, then Joey Barton and Leroy Fer come into contention, so it may be difficult for Kranjcar to crack the starting lineup without someone dropping form or getting hurt.

Hull City have signed Southampton midfielder Gaston Ramirez on a season-long loan.

Ramirez is a very capable midfielder/winger who has been a regular off the bench at Southampton in the past year. New boss Ronald Koeman apparently didn't have him in his plans, so he has sent him out on loan until the end of the season. Ramirez should be a starter at Hull and will have the opportunity to be a fantasy contributor, so he is definitely someone to keep an eye out on.

Queens Park Rangers added a key figure to their first team with the signing of Sandro on a three year deal, handing over £10million to Tottenham Hotspur for the transfer fee.

The Beast will be now be unleashed at Loftus Road, where he immediately upgrades the Rangers' midfield. He reunites with Harry Redknapp, who took the talented Brazilian under his wing when he broke into the Premier League in 2010. Sandro hasn't had a history of offering much in terms of fantasy appeal, but he will provide a presence in the middle that will open things up for other attacking-minded Rangers and their value looks to be on the upswing.

Stoke City have signed forward Oussama Assaidi from Liverpool on a season-long loan and will pay a £1m loan free.

Assaidi should be useful for Stoke, who need the help in attack. He wasn't going to get any playing time at Liverpool, so this is definitely a positive transfer for the forward. It's important to note that he has a lateral knee ligament sprain and could be out of action for a while. We don't have a return date for him so keep an eye out before you add him to any fantasy leagues. He is only a fantasy option in the deepest of formats, even when healthy.

Manchester United have added defender Daley Blind on a £14m move from Ajax.

Blind was largely unknown before the World Cup but his amazing assist to Robin van Persie in the opening match saw him become an instant fan favorite. He is a really interesting signing for Manchester. He played left-wing in the World Cup, a position Manchester spent £30m on earlier this summer(Luke Shaw) that is currently occupied by a Ashley Young. The good news is that Blind can also play as a center-back or a central midfielder. His best position is arguably in the center of midfield, where United have new signing Ander Herrera. Blind's agent, Rob Jansen, declared last week that Louis van Gaal has told Blind he can play in central midfield right away. We would hold off on using Blind in fantasy until his positional situation gets figured out.

Crystal Palace complete their second signing on deadline day with the capture of James McArthur from Wigan Athletic for an undisclosed fee.

While the fee hasn't been made official, it is thought to be in the neighborhood of £7m , which would be a club record. McArthur should see himself go straight in as a regular for Neil Warnock, set to partner Mile Jedinak in the center of midfield. At 26, McArthur is in the prime of his career and should be an integral part of how the season plays out for the Eagles.

Manchester City have agreed to a season long loan of Micah Richards to Serie A side Fiorentina.

With Bacary Sagna and Pablo Zabaleta already in tow, Richards was never going to see much time at right back for the Sky Blues without a rash of injuries so the move makes sense as the rare case of an English player makes the move to Serie A.

Hull City have acquired midfielder Mohamed Diame on a £3.5 million transfer from West Ham United.

West Ham have done some good business this summer and had a bit of a jam at midfield so they've decided to recoup of the money spent on big signings Mauro Zarate and Enner Valencia by shipping off Diame. Diame will certainly be a big part of Hull this season, whether he comes off the bench or ends up as a starter. He will at least be part of the rotation and will help provide a spark at times. Despite that, he remains inconsistent and not enough of a stat-stuffer to be a good fantasy option.

Crystal Palace have made their first purchase of transfer deadline day by bringing in Tottenham Hotspur left-back Zeki Fryers for an undisclosed fee.

21-year-old Fryers has signed a three-year contract with Palace and becomes Neil Warnock's second signing following Wilfried Zaha's loan move on Thursday. The defender is primarily a left-back and will battle Adrian Marriapa for a spot in the Eagles' first team.

Argentinian international Ricardo Alvarez has completed a season-long loan move to the Stadium of Light.

This is quite a coup for Sunderland, with 26-year-old Alvarez joining the club from Italian giants Inter Milan, where he scored 14 goals in 90 appearances. The skillful midfielder has been capped seven times by Argentina and was part of his country's 2014 World Cup squad. He will add some attacking quality to to the Black Cats' midfield, competing with the likes of Emanuele Giaccherini and Jordi Gomez for a place in the starting XI, and could prove an interesting fantasy asset in the Yahoo game.
