Olivier Giroud announced his return to the starting line-up with two goals and an assist in Arsenal's 4-1 win over Sunderland at the Emirates.

On the day Dennis Bergkamp's statue was unveiled outside of the Arsenal stadium, the current team decided to turn on some of the Dutch master's style. Olivier Giroud scored the opener after a 19 pass move that culminated in Jack Wilshere cutting the ball across the box for the Frenchman to slot home. Giroud and Arsenal's second was a pure poacher's goal with the forward intercepting a back pass intended for former teammate Vito Mannone and rolling it home. The third goal will have been Bergkamp's favorite as a beautiful passing sequence ended in a chip from Tomas Rosicky. All in all it was a great day for the Gunners after a difficult mid-week defeat to Bayern Munich.

Dusan Tadic started out the season well in fantasy but not well enough to keep his place in the starting line-up as he sits on the bench again in Denmark.

Southampton have been leaking goals this season and Ronald Koeman's reaction has been moving to a five man defense with Targett, Caulker, Fonte, Yoshida and Martina starting against Midtjylland with Romeu in front of them. That has meant that Tadic has been left on the bench for a third consecutive match after being yanked at halftime against Everton in Week 2. It may be that Tadic returns to the line-up once Jordy Clasie is available but we may be back to the second half of last season where Tadic was not a reliable starter.

Rudy Gestede gets his easiest matchup of the season in week four, at home against Sunderland.

Sunderland have allowed teams to shoot 19 times per game against them, highest in the league by a margin. They've also allowed nine goals in their first three matches, which were against Leicester, Norwich, and Swansea. There hasn't been much to be optimistic about at Sunderland, and Aston Villa can take advantage this week when they face them. Gestede should be licking his lips at the opportunities he'll have on Saturday.

Aston Villa midfielder Aleksander Tonev has completed a permanent move to Seria A newcomers Frosinone.

Tonev never established a rotation spot at Aston Villa and was a huge disappointment for fans. Everyone expected him to replace Bulgarian legend Stilian Petrov at the club, but Tonev never became half the player Petrov was. He has made 17 appearances for Villa but his only note-worthy contribution was a seven-match ban for racial abuse. Villa should be happy they've able to recoup some of the money they spent on him.

John Terry will miss Chelsea's week four match due to being suspended.

Terry was sent off in the Blues' win in week three when he brought down Salomon Rondon in the 54th minute. He was sent off for denying a goal-scoring opportunity, which brings a one match ban. In his absence, the most likely starting duo for the Blues will be Gary Cahill and Kurt Zouma, who seems to be securing a starting spot in Jose Mourinho's rotation.

Jack Grealish started in place of Scott Sinclair in Aston Villa's week three match.

Grealish played the full 90 in Aston Villa's loss to Crystal Palace and despite looking a bit rusty, he seems to be the preferred choice for Tim Sherwood. It's important to note that both Sinclair and Jordan Ayew were on the bench for that match and both should be considered as very risky to own in fantasy leagues this season. The reasons are that they aren't guaranteed playing time and Aston Villa's attack lacks goals to bring them relevant fantasy value. Avoid Ayew and Sinclair for now.

Andros Townsend, who has yet to make the Spurs squad this season, may take part in their Week 4 match with Everton according to Maurico Pochettino.

With news coming in tandem that Christian Eriksen has been ruled out of Week 4, Spurs may have an extra midfield option in Townsend if he looks sharp in training the next couple of days. Erik Lamela didn't seem to take advantage of Eriksen's absence in Week 3 and Townsend is certainly more dangerous out wide than a Moussa Dembele. Still, it sounds like it will be a matchday decision for Poch to even include Townsend in the squad, so he cannot be looked at as a fantasy option.

Having seemingly given up on the pursuit of Saido Berahino, Tottenham have prepared a bid for the transfer of forward Son Heung-min from Bayer Leverkusen.

Time is running out on Daniel Levy to add a much-needed striker to the squad and after spending weeks trying to woo away Berahino, they are now scouring the globe for a competent striker. Son, a South Korean international, has had decent success in the Bundesliga, scoring 21 times in 63 appearances, and is still not fully mature at 23 years of age. He would need to exhibit the physicality necessary to thrive in the Premier League as a striker, but if signed, he will be a clear #2 to Kane as an option.

Arsene Wenger could be forced into using Gabriel and Calum Chambers for the trip to Newcastle as doubts remain over the availability of Per Mertesacker and Laurent Koscielny.

The pair missed the visit of Liverpool on Monday due to illness and injury and "Mertesacker is still sick" while Koscielny will have a test on Thursday "I will certainly know more [on Friday]," revealed Wenger. "The less likely to be fit is Mertesacker." Danny Welbeck is progressing well and "should be available [after the international break] if all goes well." Jack Wilshere won’t be too far behind. "Maybe one week after, he will certainly come back into full training." Tomas Rosicky remains sidelined as he recovers from knee surgery.

Bacary Sagna looks set to continue his run in the City first team after Pablo Zabaleta was ruled out for up-to a month after damaging knee ligaments in training.

The Argentine had been working his way back to full fitness following his late return – Copa America – but this latest setback will hand Sagna an opportunity to establish himself for the first time since joining City back in 2014. On the opposite flank Aleksandar Kolarov also looks to have nailed down a starting berth for the foreseeable following an outstanding start to the season. The Serbian has now started nine consecutive PL matches and with Gael Clichy not match fit the 29 year-old dead ball specialist is worth some serious fantasy consideration with games against Watford, Palace, West Ham and Sunderland coming up.

Leicester City are healthy going into week four with only long-term absentee Matty James being out.

James won't be back anytime soon but the good news is that everyone else is healthy is raring to go. The club have had a healthy squad this season and that has been one of the reasons for their hot start. Danny Drinkwater has had a starting spot to start the season and has played respectably but hasn't contributed enough stats to warrant fantasy consideration, and he should remain on the waiver wire until something changes.

Injuries are beginning to mount for Palace after Aussie international Mile Jedinak limped off minutes into the second half of Tuesdays' Capital One cup game with Shrewsbury.

"Mile has a little hamstring problem and definitely won't be involved at Chelsea," said Pardew. "It looks like he will be out for two-to-three weeks." Although his loss isn’t a major blow as the 31 year-old has only contributed 26 cumulative [PL] minutes so far this term. Yannick Bolasie will return after missing the win over Villa following the death of his father "He is dealing with his family – but he will be involved on Saturday, because he wants to be involved. He's in a good shape and frame of mind." Julian Speroni is making "good progress" and is targeting a return to training within 7-10 days while Connor Wickham is "hopeful" of recovering from a rib injury in time for the trip to SW6.
