Adam Lallana missed training with the England international squad on Monday as he was deemed not fit to train.

Lallana played the full match against Liverpool on Saturday and this could just be a precautionary move. The Saints midfielder has played all 28 Southampton games this season and there is a good chance he simply needs a rest. We expect him to play on Saturday, but check back on Friday before you include Lallana in your fantasy team for week 29. Others who missed training were Kyle Walker, Andros Townsend, Steven Caulker, and John Ruddy. We aren't too concerned with any of their injuries but it is worth checking back for an update later this week.

David Moyes is confident of having Marko Arnautovic available for Friday after tests confirm the winger did not break his thumb at Watford.

The Austria international, who was having one of his more influential games since signing for the Claret and Blues, was reluctantly replaced in the 74th minute after he was accidentally trodden on by defender Marvin Zeegelaar. Arnautovic was sent for an x-ray, but despite heavy swelling, the results were positive and there was no fracture. The new West Ham boss is also hopeful of having Andre Ayew back in the match-day squad after he missed out at Vicarage Road due to illness. Meanwhile, James Collins could feature for the first time since September having recovered from an ankle ligament injury. A decision on Michail Antonio will be made closer to kick-off as he struggles to overcome badly bruised ribs and a niggling hamstring complaint. Jose Fonte [foot] and Sam Byram [thigh] are definitely out while the game is expected to come too soon for Javier Hernandez.

Tottenham continued their fine play in the group stage of the Champions League and helped put the loss in last weekend's North London derby behind them as a pair of Dele Alli assists led to a 1-2 win at Borussia Dortmund.

It was a come-from-behind win on the road at that for Tottenham, who can guarantee finishing first in its group with only a draw against Apoel Nicosia in a couple of weeks. Dortmund grabbed the opener with their talisman, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, just after the half hour mark. Mauricio Pochettino went with a different look to his formation, with Heung-min Son partnering Harry Kane up front while Alli and Christian Eriksen played a bit more central and deep alongside Harry Winks. Both strikers would find the net, with Kane leveling the match four minutes into the second half and Son scoring the winner. The two assists for Alli should encourage fantasy owners, who have seen only one goal and no assists from the young Englishman over the past six gameweeks.

Liverpool's defensive issues made themselves present once again, this time allowing Sevilla to score three unanswered goal to erase the Reds lead in a 3-3 draw.

The Reds are still top of their group and are assured of going through to the knockout stage of the Champions League, but last night's performance symbolized why they may not be able to meet the objectives they set for themselves this season. The attack exploded right out of the gate, with Roberto Firmino bagging a brace and Sadio Mane's header made it 0-3, which is where the score stood to begin the second half. The defense then collapsed, giving up silly fouls and allowing the Sevilla crowd to urge on the home side. The Reds would then give up three goals from the 51st minute on, two from set pieces, the other by way of penalty when Alberto Moreno fouled the opponent in the box. Moreno's performance was especially scrutinized, making one wonder if Jurgen Klopp will look toward Andrew Robertson or James Milner to play at left back this weekend.

Paul Clement expects Chelsea loanee Tammy Abraham to overcome a back problem in time for this weekend.

The Swansea attacker was helped off on Saturday, having tried [and failed], to play through the pain at Turf Moor after suffering a lower back issue. However, Clement believes it wasn’t anything serious despite Abraham leaving the field on a stretcher. "His back went into spasm, but I don't think there is an injury there. He is a bit stiff at the moment, but we think he will be okay for Bournemouth." The 20-year-old was not part of the training group on Tuesday but he is expected to rejoin the first-team at some point this week. Should there be any doubts regarding the fitness of Abraham, then Clement maybe tempted to rest his top scorer given that Wilfried Bony is back in contention after recovering from the niggling hamstring strain which has hampered his progress since returning to the club.

Manchester City will be pushed to the limits of its bench following another injury to a defensive starter.

The club is already without starting left-back Benjamin Mendy and will now be without John Stones for at least the next month after he suffered a hamstring injury against Leicester City over the weekend, with saw him leave in the 31st minute. Without Stones, look for Vincent Kompany and Eliaquim Managal to fill in, although that leaves the club thin in defense. Said manager Pep Guardiola: "He will be out for a long time, I think -- a muscular problem -- maybe four to six weeks. The only problem is we have a lot games and John was in that moment -- the way he played with the ball and without it, leading the back four."

Bournemouth will have to do without Simon Francis for their Gameweek 13 clash with Swansea after the defender was sent off for two bookable offences on Saturday.

The 32 year old has been Eddie Howe's first choice right-back so far this season but is now likely to be replaced by Adam Smith in the starting line-up for the trip to Wales. Francis was sent for an early shower just before the interval in the Cherries' 4-0 win over Huddersfield after two fouls in quick succession on the elusive winger Rajiv van La Parra. Bookings were the only blot on a good performance with three other Bournemouth players also receiving yellows. Cook, Arter and Adam Smith are now all just one caution from picking up a one game ban for accumulating 5 cards already in 2017/18. Eddie Howe commented one those "few lads looking over their shoulders" post-match as well as voicing his agreement with the referees decision to send off his player.

Stoke City led twice on Monday night but had to settle for a 2-2 draw with Brighton at the Amex Stadium.

Stoke jumped out to an early lead after 28 minutes when Choupo-Moting scored his first goal since hitting a brace against Manchester United back in September. Xherdan Shaqiri suppled a 40-yard floated ball over the top for the striker, who did well to collect and slot home from close. Brighton equalized through Pascal Gross on 44 minutes, but in first-half stoppage time Kurt Zouma restored Stoke's lead when he headed his first goal for the club. However, the visitors saw their second lead of the match slip away when Jose Izquierdo fired home on the hour mark. The draw sees Mark Hughes' side stay 15th in the table, four points above the drop zone.

Everton is gearing up for the return of two key starters with Yannick Bolasie and Seamus Coleman closing on a return.

While initially hoping for the duo to return this month, Everotn caretaker manager David Unsworth said Bolasie and Coleman will be back from long-term injuries for the New Year, with Bolasie even hoping for a return in the next couple weeks. "Probably late December, going into the new year. Probably Yannick will be a bit before but certainly Seamus will be going into January. They are two massive players, aren’t they, and if we can get those two players back into the team and James McCarthy as well, we will look a lot stronger.

Brighton are now five matches unbeaten after coming from behind twice in a 2-2 draw against Stoke City at the Amex Stadium.

Stoke City took the lead against the run of play on 28 minutes through Eric Choupo-Moting. Chris Hughton's side equalized just before the break when Davy Propper danced past four challenges and crossed for Pascal Gross to fire between Lee Grant's leg. However, in first-half stoppage time, Kurt Zouma rose to head the Potters back into the lead. Brighton needed a fine stop from goalkeeper Mathew Ryan after the restart and found the second equalizer shortly thereafter. Izquierdo pounced on his own rebound and fired home his second goal of the season from close range to secure a point for the Seagulls.

Tony Pulis has been sacked as the manager of West Bromwich Albion effective immediately after a run of poor results to end last season and start this campaign.

Funny how expectations change. West Brom were the poster club when it came to the "yo-yo" approach to promotion and safety. Albion purposely invested frugally over a couple of one-year trips to the Premier League putting the finances and structure in place to eventually settle in in the top flight. That goal achieved, the notion of playing dull football and just getting by was no longer enough and so survival master Tony Pulis was sacked as the season started looking like a fight for survival rather than a push forward to mid-table. It was a reasonable decision given that Pulis has been spending on players who should have the club moving toward mid-table safety. Gary Megson will replace Pulis on an interim basis until a full-time replacement is found.

Danny Rose was said to be fuming following his omission from the squad which travelled to the Emirates on Saturday.

Fresh from his involvement with England during the international break, many expected Rose to reclaim the left-back spot, despite the early season form of Ben Davies. However, the recently returned 27-year-old was nowhere to be seen, and it was later confirmed by Mauricio Pochettino, amid growing speculation of a bust-up, that he made a "technical decision" on leaving Rose out. "Remember, we played without Danny for ten months, so we need to build up his fitness and for this game we decided it would be better for him to train rather than be on the bench." But, despite his reasoning, there are many that believe Rose could be set to leave with Manchester United monitoring the situation closely. Mourinho is a long-term admirer and any deal could be sweetened by the inclusion of forgotten full-back Luke Shaw who would be keen to work under the Argentine again.
