Christian Eriksen insists he would not seek a move away from Tottenham if Tim Sherwood's side fail to finish in the top four this season.

This is good news for Spurs in light of the recent admissions by Hugo Lloris and Jan Vertonghen that they would consider their futures if the club failed to finish in the top 4. Eriksen has shown glimpses of his quality but he is still young, and it would seem natural that he'll be ready to make a bigger impact in the Premier League next season.

Mauro Zarate may have kicked his last ball of the season after suffering what appears to be a serious knee injury against former club West Ham.

Zarate was quick out of the blocks at Vicarage Road on Saturday, drawing a foul from Cheikhou Kouyate to win his side a penalty after only three minutes. The January signing from Fiorentina was starting his third successive Premier League game, and was arguably putting in his best performance, before his evening ended early due to a twisted knee. Zarate was carried from the field on a stretcher after eight-and-a-half-minutes of treatment and taken to hospital for further tests. "I saw Zarate in a lot of pain," said Walter Mazzarri. "Unfortunately, it is not a good sign. Hopefully, it is not too bad." Captain Troy Deeney wished his teammate a "speedy recovery" but admitted: "The injury doesn't look good. It was a nice touch from the West Ham fans to sing his name. Hopefully he can get an MRI as quickly as possible."

Michail Antonio was sent off for two petulant yellow cards but in-between he picked up an assist as West Ham came from a goal down to pick up a point at Vicarage Road.

Antonio's first yellow came when he went in on Valon Behrami high and late after he had dispossessed Antonio. After a few controversial non-calls went against the Hammers in the second half Antonio's frustration boiled over and he deliberately handled the ball after slipping. It wasn't all bad as Antonio hit both posts on a second half shot and the rebound came out to Andre Ayew for the equalizer.

Isaac Success came on as a substitute with the score level at one and proceeded to confound with his performance.

Success appears to have bountiful physical gifts but it didn't appear that coordination was one of them based on Saturday's evidence. Success flailed on multiple dribbles after coming on stopping Watford attacks short. He had a golden opportunity to redeem himself in stoppage time but he failed to get even a touch on a Troy Deeney headed cross that would have won the match with the final touch.

Hull City are sweating on the fitness of centre-back Harry Maguire after the defender sustained a knee injury against Burnley at the KCOM Stadium.

Marco Silva confirmed during Fridays’ press conference that Curtis Davies and Michael Dawson could be out for another month with respective hamstring and calf injuries and the Tigers can ill-afford to lose another key defender. Speaking after the hard fought 1-1 draw, Silva revealed that Maguire was "maybe 50 percent for the whole of the second half and the last 10 minutes of the first half," after appearing to twist his knee which required lengthy treatment. Silva added: "I hope it's a knock, we'll see over the next few days." However, Liverpool loanee Lazar Markovic "should be okay" for the game against Leicester City in game week 27 after a training ground injury ruled him out of todays’ match.

Patrick Van Aanholt scored as Crystal Palace moved out of the bottom three with a 1-0 win over Middlesbrough.

Crystal Palace started the match with the better attacking chances and found the breakthrough on 34th minutes when Middlesbrough failed to clear a strike by Yohan Cabaye. The misplayed clearance fell to Van Aanholt, who touched onto to his left foot and popped a low strike into the bottom of the net, past a sprawling Victor Valdes. The victory for Palace was their first under Sam Allardyce and lifts the club to 17th place, on 22 points.

Middlesbrough are now winless in nine straight leagues matches after Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Crystal Palace.

Boro have struggled to find goals this season as they failed to find the net for the third straight match, following a goalless fixture at Everton and 1-0 defeat at Spurs. The visitors' best chance at Selhurst Park came on 22 minutes when Cristhian Stuani controlled a cross with his right foot, but was unable to pop it onto his left foot as it was cleared by Mamadou Sakho. While Boro came out better in the second half, they were unable to overcome the one goal deficit - a 34th minute strike by Patrick Van Aanholt. The defeat for the club leaves them in 17th place, even with Crystal Palace on 22 points.

Everton star forward Romelu Lukaku shook off any worries over his fitness with a goal in a 2-0 win against Sunderland.

The former Chelsea striker returned to the top of the Premier League in goals with his 17th of the season to put him level with Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez. Idrissa Gueye opened the scoring in the 40th minute with his first Premier League goal for the Toffees, blasting a low pass from Seamus Coleman into the back of the net. Then, in the 80th, Lukaku doubled Everton's lead with a powerful effort, fighting off former Everton teammate Bryan Oviedo on a breakaway and finishing past Jordan Pickford for the goal, to put him level on 60 goals with Everton legend Duncan Ferguson for the club record and his eighth in the last five home matches. Gareth McAuley scored a crucial goal again in Week 26 as West Brom beat Bournemouth 2-1 at the Hawthorns.

All the scoring happened relatively early in the match with Josh King scoring a penalty in the 5th minute followed by a deflected Craig Dawson strike in the 10th and the Gareth McAuley winner in the 22nd. McAuley scored late to draw Albion even against West Brom earlier in February and he closed out the month with a winner. The goal came when the center back was first to pounce on Artur Boruc's flailing attempt at a punch from Chris Brunt's corner. The win further cements Albion's status in the 8th spot in the league as they moved eight points clear of Stoke City.

Sunderland remains bottom of the Premier League after yet another goalless outing in a 2-0 loss to Everton.

With the lone exception of a 4-0 win against Crystal Palace in Gameweek 24, the Black Cats have struggled mightily to put the ball into the back of the net. The club has been shut out in four of its last five Premier League games and only managed one shot on target against Everton on Saturday. Jermain Defoe came closest for Sunderland in the 77th minute, when he rifled a shot that beat Everton keeper Joel Robles but struck the crossbar, coming centimeters away from tying the game. Minutes later, Romelu Lukaku ended Sunderland's hopes with a punishing blow on a breakaway. The only good news comes from seeing Jordan Pickford in goal after missing the last two months. The young keeper made six saves in his first match of 2017, which saw Vito Mannone return to the bench.

Artur Boruc couldn't effectively punch out Chris Brunt's corner and Gareth McAuley was first to react and the resulting goal cost the Cherries a point.

Boruc makes some amazing saves from time-to-time but more often he is guilty of making crucial errors that end up being costly for his side. It was a case of the latter again in Week 26 as he flailed at a Chris Brunt set piece. The ball fell in the six yard box and West Brom's Gareth McAuley beat Boruc's teammates to the ball to score the match winner for Tony Pulis' side. You have to assume that Eddie Howe will be looking for a new goalkeeper come the summer.
