To add injury to insult, Allan McGregor is suffering from a kidney contusion in the wake of his collision with Mohamed Diame yesterday which also saw him sent off.

McGregor isn't going to play in Week 32 regardless due to his red card suspension but he will see a specialist after spending Wednesday night in the hospital after his collision with Diame. Managers who may be interested in keeping him on their bench at a low price will get more news after his evaluation. In the meantime, Steve Harper and Michel Vorm are solid low-priced alternatives with good match-ups in Week 32.

Tim Krul is worth considering for your goalkeeper position as Newcastle face Crystal Palace at home in Week 3.

The majority of you will own Thibaut Courtois at around £5million in the Yahoo game, and you certainly shouldn't be selling him at that price, but that doesn't mean the Chelsea keeper is a top pick in Week 3 with a tough away game at Everton. Newcastle are at home to a Crystal Palace side struggling to adapt to life after Tony Pulis, and the ever-reliable Krul can be picked up for a very reasonable £6million. A good alternative.

Alan Hutton should be high on the list of defenders you're considering for Week 3 of the Yahoo Fantasy Premier League game.

Many people had forgotten Hutton was still at Villa before his name showed up in the line-ups on opening day, but the Scotland defender has already started making up for lost time after rebuilding his relationship with Paul Lambert. He was excellent in the win at Stoke and followed that up with a man-of-the-match performance - and 16 fantasy points - against Newcastle, so should be considered for the home game against Hull.

Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany is another defender with a great fixture in Week 3.

The most affordable Manchester City defender guaranteed to start (until new signing Eliaquim Mangala becomes a regular), Kompany has had a quiet beginning to the season from a fantasy stand-point, but Stoke at home could bring a clean sheet and the captain is a danger in the opponent's box when going up for set-pieces.

Arsenal's star midfielder Aaron Ramsey is the top premium midfield choice for Week 3.

Arsenal seemed destined for defeat at Everton before Ramsey popped up with yet another vital goal to trigger the fight-back, and the midfielder will be fresh after missing the exhausting Champions League victory in midweek due to suspension. Expect another inspired display against Leicester in a game the Gunners need to win to ensure they don't start dropping behind the early pace-setters.

Nik Argiropoulos is tipping Yaya Toure to break out of his fantasy slump against Stoke in Week 3.

Do not adjust your screens; Yaya has scored two big fat zeroes in a row in the opening two weeks of the season after playing a slightly deeper role in comparison to last season. However, we expect him to get forward more often against Stoke and that usually brings fantasy points. The midfielder is well priced at around the £11million mark in the Yahoo game.

Dusan Tadic can continue his good fantasy form as Southampton travel to Upton Park to face West Ham in Week 3.

The summer signing from FC Twente is already showing signs of promise with a 12 point haul against West Brom in Week 2, containing a smattering of successful crosses and a couple of shots on target. Tadic is classed as a midfielder but had an excellent goal-scoring record in Holland and is lining up as a left-sided forward in Ronald Koeman's current system, so he's well worth a look for the Saints' trip to West Ham.

West Ham's Cheikhou Kouyate is showing signs of being a solid points scorer in the Yahoo fantasy format

West Ham boss Sam Allardyce reckons Kouyaté reminds him of Patrick Vieira, and the new man at Upton Park has put in two powerful midfield performances already. He's intercepting passes, winning tackles and has registered an assist and two shots on target in his first two games, suggesting he could prove a very handy fantasy option as the season progresses.

Nik Argiropoulos believes Stevan Jovetic will continue his excellent start to the season against Stoke in Week 3.

The striker displayed his class against Liverpool in Week 2, grabbing a brace to back-up the superb performance put in throughout pre-season. In this form Jovetic will be a starter for the foreseeable future and he can be added to your Yahoo team for almost half the cost of Sergio Aguero.

Guy Demel started West Ham's midweek Capital One Cup match and looked healthy.

Demel is healthy again and has the right-back position to himself after his competition suffered injuries in recent weeks. West Ham have a good defense that is solid year after year and Demel should be a good pick for the next few weeks while he has the starting spot. On top of that, West Ham face an average squad in Southampton this week and could very well keep a clean sheet.

Leicester City have signed veteran midfielder Esteban Cambiasso from Inter.

Cambiasso comes to Leicester on a free transfer after spending a decade at Italian giants Inter. It's unknown if the midfielder will be available this weekend so we'd be caution about adding him to fantasy leagues but he could be a decent option in deep fantasy formats later on. He will probably be a starter if he can remain fit, which seems likely given the fact he played in over 30 matches last season. It's unknown who will be relegated the bench in Leicester so we'd avoid most of their midfielders for now.

After a frustrating first year at Manchester United and on loan with Cardiff City, Wilfried Zaha has rejoined Crystal Palace on a one year loan deal.

Neil Warnock has made a splash on his second day on the job at Selhurst Park by bringing back a favorite of the supporters in the form of Wilfried Zaha. After leaving the Eagles for Manchester United about a year ago for approximately £15million the rising star returns having made very little impression while gone. He barely played at all for United and was unimpressive in a loan spell with Cardiff City. Both player and club will hope that a return home will see increased playing time as Zaha gets his career back on track.
