Cardiff City earn a point in the most dramatic of fashion, erasing a two goal deficit, then scoring a last second equalizer after conceding what looked to a be a game-winner for West Bromwich Albion in a thrilling 3-3 draw.

It looked like another long afternoon for the Bluebirds after they found themsleves down 2-0 in the opening ten minutes. Their magical ride began on the half hour mark, when Jordon Mutch sent a high lob of a shot over the head of Ben Foster to score his third goal in two games. Cardiff would then level the match with a header from Steven Caulker, his fourth goal of that variety and fifth overall this season, in the 73rd minute. West Brom looked to ruin the comeback with a goal in extra time, but with time exceeding the four minutes added on, a last gasp floater by Mats Moller Daehli rescued a much needed point, as the teenager earned his first PL goal.

The David Moyes revolution continues at West Ham as they won 3-0 at the Bet365 Stadium on Saturday.

The match started an hour late due to a power outage at the stadium. It was the visitors who provided all the power once the match started with goals from Mark Noble, Marko Arnautovic, and Diafra Sakho. The Hammers have climbed up to 15th pending Sunday and Monday's results.

Once again, there was no stopping league-leading Manchester City in a dominant 4-1 win against Tottenham.

Manchester City extended its lead to 14 points atop the Premier League table and its league win streak to 16, but got a star performance from the least expected source. With David Silva missing out due to personal reasons, Ilkay Gundogan started in place of the Spanish maestro, recording a goal and assist. His headed goal in the 14th minute go things going, and then the German international set up Kevin De Bruyne for the second in the 70th minute as De Bruyne slammed one past Hugo Lloris from a tight angle. Then it was Raheem Sterling's chance to get on the board after a hat-trick's worth of missed opportunities, scoring a double with a goal in the 80th and 90th minutes before Christian Eriksen's consolation goal ruined the clean sheet.

Brighton and Hove Albion tried their best, but were the latest to fall prey to the resolute Burnley defense, as the two sides played to a 0-0 final.

Charlie Taylor got his first start at left back and Phil Bardsley kept his place over a fit Matt Lowton as Burnley once again played their brand of football with success. Brighton were the only side threatening to score as the first half wore on and a big moment came in the 35th minute, when James Tarkowski fouled Glenn Murray in the box. Lucky for the Clarets, Murray skied his spot kick. The best chance for Burnley going forward came in the 74th minute when Chris Wood attempted a chip on the keeper but it took a fine save to keep it out. Fantasy investment in Sean Dyche's defense continues to deliver.

Watford's struggles have only continued following a 4-1 thrashing at the hands of Huddersfield Town for its fourth loss in the last five.

The Vicarage Road faithful were not in high spirits from the start after giving up the opening goal in the sixth minute. Then, two defensive gaffes led to two more goals starting in the 23rd minute as Aaron Mooy found himself completely unmarked at the back post while Laurent Depoitre took advantage of a Jose Holebas slip in the 50th minute. In between, Troy Deeney was sent off with a straight red card for a cynical tackle from behind on Steve Quaner that will see him miss the next three matches. The only bright spot for the Hornets was a 68th-minute goal from Abdoulaye Doucouré, his sixth of the season.

Mesut Ozil scored in the 23rd minute for the only goal of the match as Arsenal beat Newcastle at the Emirates.

It was another frustrating performance for the Gunners as they dominated but couldn't kill off the match. They will be satisfied with a much needed three points but will need to finish attacks better if they hope to end the season back in the Champions League.

Wing-back Marcos Alonso's goal deep into first-half stoppage time was just enough for Chelsea to overcome Southampton 1-0 at Stamford Bridge.

It could have been a lot more comfortable for the defending champions had they been more clinical, however the goal from a long-range free-kick was all they had to show from a first half where they dominated. Fabregas and Pedro both went close in the second half whilst Hazard had the ball in the net but saw his effort disallowed for an offside in the build-up. Southampton now have not won in five attempts. Ahead of the game both managers made surprise omissions from their starting line-ups with Morata (who had been passed fit) on the bench whilst Hazard led the line flanked by Willian and Pedro whilst Van Dijk sat for the Saints.

Brighton and Hove Albion are seeking their first win in some time but a missed penalty by Glenn Murray made the difference as the Seagulls had to settle for a 0-0 draw with Burnley.

Brighton managed to end a three game losing streak but they will feel like they wasted a chance to get three points today, as they were the side most in control throughout the contest. Chances came consistently in the first half. Murray got a header on target but it was saved and Anthony Knockaert managed to ping one off the post. The critical moment came 35 minutes in though when Murray managed to draw a penalty after being fouled in the box. To his chagrin, his power shot down the middle skied over the bar. Burnley are tough enough to crack once over the course of 90 minutes and the failure to convert the spot kick would haunt Brighton as they could only bend the Claret defense from then on, without breaking it.

Aleksandar Mitrović will not be a part of the squad when Newcastle take on Arsenal at the Emirates.

Speaking ahead of the game, manager Rafa Benitez confirmed the hot-headed striker has a "little problem" with his back which will keep him out of the clash. Mitrovic has been little more than a bit part player this term – just 89 Premier League minutes – while he is yet to start a game. The Serbian looks surplus to requirements and may leave during the January window if Newcastle can bring in reinforcements – Danny Ings is one option having been linked with a loan move following his recovery from injury. Dwight Gayle is expected to lead the United attack on Saturday with Joselu providing back-up from the bench. Paul Dummett will be included in the squad for the first time since the opening weekend and Isaac Hayden could return to the side in place of Jonjo Shelvey who begins a two-match ban. Jesus Gamez is also missing after picking up an unspecified injury in training.

A persistent knee problem is expected to keep Marouane Fellaini out for the remainder of 2017.

The Manchester United midfielder suffered a knee ligament [medial] strain while on international duty in October and spent a month on the sidelines. But, despite his return, Fellaini was still hampered by the problem and he hasn’t featured in the matchday squad since the win over Brighton in game week 13. He will now miss the entire festive programme and with his current deal due to expire in 2018, the 30-year-old may have played his last game for the club. Eric Bailly is another absentee after Jose Mourinho confirmed a decision has been taken for the defender to undergo ankle surgery. "I don’t say [he’s out] for the rest of the season, but it’s for the next two or three months." Fortunately, United are well-stocked in the heart of defence with Phil Jones, Chris Smalling, Victor Lindelof, Marcos Rojo and Daley Blind all able to play centrally.

After having been called out recently by manager Roy Hodgson, Christian Benteke broke out of a slump with a goal and an assist as Crystal Palace beat Leicester City handily, 0-3.

Easily Palace's finest result of the season to date and they did it against a Leicester side who had been red hot and they did it on the Foxes' ground. The Eagles opened the scoring in the 19th minute, when Andros Townsend sent a cross into the box and Benteke finished with a strong header. Twenty minutes later, Palace were on the counter and Benteke sent the ball through to a streaking Wilfried Zaha, with the latter slotting home. Any thoughts of a Leicester comeback was stamped out when they went down to ten men in the second half, but Bakary Sako managed to add another goal in the dying moments, curling a ball into the top corner after being teed up by Reuben-Loftus Cheek on yet another counter. After such a miserable start to their campaign, Palace have now gone seven unbeaten in league play.
