Fulham forward Dimitar Berbatov will reportedly play out the final year of his contract next season and then leave on a free.

At 32 years-old, Berbatov is likely getting close to the end of his time as a starting forward in a top tier league. The problem for Fulham is that they a) don't have a replacement present and b) they look like they'll get nothing in return when Berbs leaves. With an aging roster and a super-rich owner reluctant to spend beyond the club's means Fulham could struggle to replace Berbatov's 15 goals. The club already crossed this bridge with Mark Schwarzer who left for nothing and will face it again Damien Duff (34) and Brede Hangeland (32) age.

Dusan Tadic trained with the main group starting on Monday and is expected to be fine for gameweek 18.

The midfielder has been in a huge scoring slump and missed the match against Everton through a minor knock. Although he should be fine to play on Friday, we don't recommend using him in daily leagues or season-long formats where you have other options. Only keep Tadic if you have him at a big discount, as he's bound to regain some of his old form back at some point in time.

Gabby Agbonlahor has won his red card appeal and will not have to serve a three-match ban.

The forward was sent off during Aston Villa's last match but he has won his appeal and that has been overturned. Gabby has never been sent off in his Premier League career and that remains true. He has not been a great fantasy option this season and despite playing tomorrow, it's hard to consider him in anything other than the deepest of formats.

Sam Vokes is on track to return to the first team squad any day now, with tomorrow's match against Liverpool a possible top flight debut for the Burnley striker.

Vokes was instrumental in Burnley's rise out of the Championship a season ago, and with the Clarets usually struggling to find that extra oomph in their attack, his return has been highly anticipated. By not having played a minute this season, his price is low in any format of the game but there is no need to run out and get him yet. Burnley are still a one man team when it comes to fantasy, and his name is Kieran Trippier. Regardless, we should see some improvement when Vokes eventually partners Danny Ings up top.

Making his first start since Week 6 last weekend and Brendan Rodgers apparently pleased with what he saw with a shakeup in formation, Lazar Markovic could be poised for a run in the side which puts him on the fantasy radar.

Rodgers liked what he saw when deploying three center backs and using wingers with Markovic having played on the right last weekend. He didn't score or assist but still managed a respectable 8 points in the Yahoo game, having been subbed off on 73 minutes. Still under 21, there is plenty of room for the prospect to grow and make his mark in the Premier League. At 5.66m in the Yahoo game, it is a situation worth monitoring closely.

Neil Taylor began the season as one of the better budget options available in defense and he has consistently produced all season while still at a bargain value.

Taylor has only missed one match this season as he has been a rock at left back, making the departure of Ben Davies look like a good business move. There's no rumor that Garry Monk is shopping for anyone that may challenge Taylor for his spot during January's transfer window, so Taylor looks to be nailed on through season's end. At 7.1m and hosting a Villa side that have struggled for goals, he is a solid buy for Boxing Day.
Dec 25 - 1:02 PM

West Ham midfielder Mark Noble is expected to be fit for GW18 after missing games through a calf problem.

Noble is averaging seven points per match and his injuries have prevented him from having another solid season. Noble might not even earn the start as West Ham have a number of players who are capable of filling in. He is not a great option in fantasy leagues right now but may be a solid bench stash in season-long leagues.
Dec 24 - 6:33 PM

James Tomkins is dealing with a hamstring injury and will be assessed before West Ham's match against Chelsea on Friday.

Tomkins is doubtful for the contest and all signs point toward James Collins filling in for the center-back. West Ham have a very tough trip to Stamford Bridge and neither of their center-backs make for a very good option in fantasy leagues this weekend. If Tomkins continues to miss time, Collins could be an option in later weeks.

Roberto Martinez has confirmed defender Tony Hibbert is likely to need another "couple of weeks" before the full-back can return to first team action.

Hibbert picked up a muscular problem during a training session at the beginning of December and the Everton boss confirmed in Wednesdays’ pre-match press conference that he doesn’t expect to see his player back until January with Leon Osman and Darron Gibson suffering a similar prognosis. However his absence won’t have a major impact on the team - Hibbert has only managed 8 starts over the past two-and-a-half seasons due to a culmination of injury and the emergence Seamus Coleman as one of the Premier Leagues’ best attacking full-backs.
Dec 24 - 7:50 PM

Roberto Martinez has confirmed Leon Osman could face another two weeks on the sidelines as the midfielder aims to overcome the ankle injury he picked up during the defeat to Manchester City as The Etihad.

Osman suffered ankle ligament damage and wore a protective boot while further assessments were carried out fearing the 33 year old – who has just signed a contract extension – may require surgery. However his latest MRI scan has revealed the tear is not as bad as originally feared and the midfielder could be back following the FA Cup tie against West Ham United. Everton are hoping welcome Kevin Mirallas and James McCarthy for the visit of Stoke in GW18 while John Stones is in line for his first start since October.
Dec 24 - 8:04 PM

Mamadou Sakho looks set to continue in place of the injured Dejan Lovren as Liverpool travel to Turf Moor on Boxing Day.

The $36 million signing has failed to live up to his huge tag since joining from Southampton in the summer with many believing his absence ‘is a blessing in disguise’ following a number of erratic defensive blunders in the heart of defence. Lovren was replaced during the Capital One Cup win over Bournemouth at half-time as a precaution but a further examination confirmed a minor groin strain which kept him out of the draw against Arsenal on Sunday. Liverpool are hopeful the defender could return over Christmas but following their impressive display at Anfield Rodgers’ maybe happy to stick with a back three which consists of Kolo Toure, Martin Skrtel and Mamadou Sakho.
Dec 24 - 8:24 PM

Eden Hazard is doubtful for Chelsea's match against West Ham United on Friday with a foot injury.

Hazard picked up a foot problem in Chelsea's 2-0 win over Stoke City and is currently being assessed before Friday's match against the Hammers. Mourinho has also said that no player is likely to play all three matches over this holiday period, so it sounds likely Hazard will be rested on Friday. With Oscar being rested last time out, one can expect him to start against West Ham and be a strong fantasy option.
