Chelsea midfielder Ramires is suspended for the first Premier League match due to violent conduct last year.

Ramires was caught on camera last season throwing an arm at Sunderland's Sebastian Larsson and was later suspended for four matches. He has served three of them already during last season but one more remains to be served when Chelsea face Burnley in week one. Ramires is likely going to be featured off the bench this season as Chelsea have brought in Cesc Fabregas to replace him.

Summer signing Max Gradel has been ruled out until 2016 after the AFC Bournemouth winger suffered a serious knee injury during Saturdays’ draw against Leicester City.

The Cherries’ endured a terrible afternoon at Dean Court losing three players to injury but the loss of Gradel for a least 6-months is the most significant by far. Although the precise nature of the injury is not yet known Gradel has damaged his cruciate ligament – believed to be anterior – and will undergo surgery to repair the tear. Gradel suffered a similar injury back in 2013 while training with the Ivory Coast and spent almost 7-months sidelined. Tyrone Mings [medial] knee ligaments is expected to miss around 10-12 weeks while Charlie Daniels who was also injured in the same game may is out for up-to a month with a hamstring strain.

Aaron Lennon has made his loan move to Everton from the second half of last season permanent as he moves to Goodison Park.

Lennon was fairly effective in both the real world and fantasy in his time at Everton last season. With the move now going permanent, Lennon will be a nice potential second tier waiver wire pick-up for fantasy managers who miss out on big signings like Kevin De Bruyne.

Nathan Dyer has seen the writing on the wall left by Andre Ayew and decided that his best course of action is a season-long loan to Leicester City.

Andre Ayew has been one of the signings of the summer already and the man he supplanted in the Swans starting line-up, Nathan Dyer, has taken the hint and left town in search of playing time. His move to Leicester City certainly doesn't guarantee playing time on the right side of the attack given the Foxes' strong attacking start to the season but there's at least a better chance of playing time with a man called The Tinkerman in charge.

Matt Jarvis will look to re-start a floundering career at Carrow Road where he will join a Norwich City attack that could use some help.

West Ham have been busy all summer adding players who are now presumably ahead of Jarvis in the queue for playing time. In Victor Moses, Dimitri Payet, Mickail Antonio, Alex Song, and Angelo Ogbonna the Hammers have an entire new midfield's worth of players to add to the ones remaining from last season. Jarvis hasn't been very good since his move to East London and maybe a change of scenery is just what the doctor ordered. He's probably not worth a waiver claim in draft leagues at this point but he's at least worth looking at to see if his new surroundings help get things moving once he returns from his thigh injury.

Victor Moses is headed out on loan for the third consecutive season with West Ham his destination this season.

Moses spent two seasons ago at Liverpool and didn't contribute a great deal. Last year he was excellent at Stoke City when he was healthy. This season he will move from West London to East London as he trades Chelsea blue for West Ham Claret and Blue. If healthy, Moses should be a great addition to fantasy squads and a starter for fantasy managers as often as he is a starter for the Hammers.

Joleon Lescott didn't survive the Tony Pulis purge and will now join fellow former Citizens Micah Richards and Scott Sinclair at Aston Villa.

There are worse transfer strategies than making bets on high quality fringe England internationals who make moves to big clubs only to see their careers stall. With Richards and Sinclair already present at Villa Park, Lescott makes it three that follow that same storyline. Lescott should be a regular starter for Tim Sherwood as he looks to keep Villa out of the relegation zone.

Matej Vydra has left Watford for Reading while the Hornets have replaced him with Club Brugge forward Obbi Oulare.

Matej Vydra seems like he is destined to be a very good forward in the Championship who never really gets much of a chance to show what he can do in the Premier League. Despite Watford's failures in front of net so far this season, Vydra never got a significant chance to perform and now he moves back down to the Championship where he has been prolific in two different spells for Watford. Coming in as Vydra leaves is Belgian forward Obbi Oulare who arrives from Club Brugge to fight for playing time although at 19-years-old, Oulare is likely one for the future.

Sunderland is always a popular spot for unwanted Spurs players and DeAndre Yedlin has added his name to that list as he joins the Black Cats on a year-long loan from White Hart Lane.

The US international was already unlikely to get much playing time with England international Kyle Walker ahead of him at right back. When Kieran Trippier arrived earlier in the summer, it all-but sealed Yedlin's fate with even back-up duty likely to be very hard to come by. With this in mind, the young American has moved to the Stadium of Light to see if he can find playing time. With Billy Jones anything but a rock solid starter, Yedlin will at least get a chance to compete for the right back spot although he's hardly a shoe-in for the role given his inexperience outside of Major League Soccer.

Saido Berahino has taken to Twitter to voice, err, type his displeasure at West Brom as they continue to refuse to sell the attacker to Spurs despite four bids being put forward.

It isn't quite the drama of Peter Odemwingie leaving training camp and driving to London on deadline day in hopes of inspiring his club to sell but it is certainly the digital equivalent. With the deadline approaching rapidly, Berahino had better hope that a fifth offer is accepted or that he can find a clever PR person to help him talk his way out of this because he is likely to be a very unpopular guy around the Hawthorns if he ends up staying at the club at least through January.

Everton managed to fill a key need on deadline day by securing the transfer of defender Ramiro Funes Mori by way of River Plate for an estimated fee of £9.5m.

Whether or not John Stones were to stay at Goodison Park, the Toffees were desperate to bolster their defensive options and now they have it in Funes Mori. If Stones stays, it may take some time for Funes Mori to earn starts, but if Stones does find his way out, the new signing should start immediately and would be worth a waiver claim if looking for defensive help.

Chelsea secured the services of center back Papy Djilobodji via transfer from FC Nantes for a fee of £2.7m.

Djilobodji arrives relatively cheap and will very likely not be an immediate starter, if ever, for Jose Mourinho. That being said, given the state of the Chelsea defense through the first four weeks, no job is safe. The Senegalese international is hitting his prime at the age of 26, so you never know. Regardless, he is not one to rush out and get in fantasy right now.
