20-year-old Campana made 20 appearances for Sevilla last season and impressed for the Spain squad that reached this summer's Under-20s World Cup quarter-finals. He's likely to provide competition to attacking midfielders Jonathan Williams and Owen Garvin once he has settled in England.

Manchester City gained three points on rivals Manchester United as Leroy Sane led the charge to a 3-0 win over Burnley.

The City train keeps chugging along, with the attack finding it difficult at times to break down a pesky Burnley defense, but two goals inside of two minutes in the second half put the game away. In the first half, they took the lead when Bernardo Silva drew a penalty after tripping over Nick Pope. Sergio Aguero stepped up and converted for his seventh league goal of the season. Burnley never looked ready to fold, but in the 73rd minute, City doubled their lead when a Sane corner was headed home by Nicholas Otamendi. Less than two minutes later, Kevin de Bruyne delivered a peach of a through ball to Sane who had plenty of space to slot home with ease. The defense was not tested too much, but were in control, keeping their sixth clean sheet to date.

Newcastle left it until the end to secure a 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace thanks to a late goal from Mikel Merino.

The Spaniard only recently turned his loan from Borussia Dortmund into a permanent move, and rewarded his side with the match-winner in the 86th minute. Merino came off the bench early in the first half and, 30 minutes later, headed home the only goal of the match following a scramble off a corner kick, when Matt Ritchie's cross was headed by James McArthur off the head of Merino and into the back of the net to end Newcastle's three-match winless streak.

Crystal Palace suffered a heartbreaking loss at the hands of Newcastle in the 86th minute of a 1-0 defeat.

The Eagles weren't able to build on their inspiring win last weekend against defending champion Chelsea, which accounts for their only goals and points of the season. It looked as though Palace were going to steal a point away from a trip up to the Northeast despite not recording a single shot on target. But second-half substitute Mikel Merino gave Newcastle the winning edge in the 86th minute after James McArthur's clearance deflected off Merino and past goalkeeper Julian Speroni, starting for the second straight week.

Despite leading with 71 minutes gone, Watford couldn't withstand a late comeback by Chelsea and suffered a 4-2 defeat at Stamford Bridge.

Marco Silva's side fell behind in the 20th minute when Pedro scored a sublime strike from outside the area, but the visitors responded on the stroke of half-time when Doucore equalized with his fourth goal of the season. The goal shifted the momentum of the match and Watford emerged from the break firing on cylinders. Roberto Pereyra capitalized on some poor defending to give them a 2-1 lead in the 49th minute, yet, a pair of squandered chances by Richarlison would eventually haunt the Hornets. Chelsea responded through substitute Michy Batshuayi in the 71st and regained the lead on the 87th, while the Belgian completed his brace in stoppage time to hand Watford their first away defeat of the season.

Following two late withdrawals, Eddie Howe was forced to turn to Callum Wilson for trip to the Bet365 Stadium on Saturday.

The Bournemouth striker has been building fitness with the under-21s after more than 8 months out due to a serious knee ligament injury. However, a return to Premier League action was thought to be a little way off despite his midweek hat-trick. But, after losing Jermain Defoe during the build up to the game week nine – due a slight hamstring problem – and Josh King - who was omitted from the squad on Saturday morning because of illness - Howe was left with little option but to recall the 25-year-old. Wilson was said to be targeting a place in the England squad before rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament back in 2015 and following an injury plagued couple of years, he'll be hoping to throw his hat back into the ring for the 2018 World Cup finals in Russia.

Michy Batshuayi came off the bench and scored twice as Chelsea came from behind to beat Watford 4-2 at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea looked in control when they took the lead in brilliant fashion through Pedro after he curled a first-time effort off the post and into the back of the net in 20th minute. But Watford responded on the stroke of half-time, with Abdoulaye Doucoure drilling a well-struck volley past an outstretched Courtois. Antonio Conte's side fell behind after the restart prompting the introduction of Batshuayi, which proved to be the alteration of the match. Batshuayi lead the resurgence with a header in the 71st while Cesar Azpilicueta provided a header of his own in the 87th, before the Belgian added a last-gasp goal to seal all three points. The victory snaps Chelsea's two-match losing streak and puts them six points off first-place Manchester City.

Brighton and Hove Albion shocked West Ham at the London Stadium in the first game of Gameweek 9 with an emphatic 3-0 win.

Brighton took an early lead thanks to a header by the man we all expected to lead their scoring charts this term, Glenn Murray. Egged on by a huge travelling contingent, Pascal Gross lofted in a free-kick towards the penalty area and the unmarked Murray power his header past a hapless Hart. The goalkeeper could have had complaints with his defence for the first but he can look to himself for allowing the second go in just before half-time. Brighton record signing José Izquierdo curled a shot deftly beyond Hart in response to decent pressure by the Hammers to send his side into the break 2-0 up. Hart should have kept it out. The home boo boys only got more to complain about in the second period after Murray grabbed his brace from the spot after winning it himself after colliding with Zabaleta. It was the Seagulls' first top flight win on the road since 1983.

Huddersfield Town are hoping to have midfielder Kasey Palmer back from injury after the November international break.

The 20-year-old re-joined the Huddersfield Town on a season-long loan this summer after a successful spell with the club last term, during which the attacking midfielder scored five goals and provided three assists in 25 appearances. Palmer, who is on loan from Chelsea, has been limited to just three appearances this season due to a recurrent hamstring injury. Manager David Wagner revealed the 20-year-old will take part in full training during the international break and barring any setbacks, will be back in contention come the middle of November. Once fit, he will compete with Elias Kachunga and Ravji van la Parra for place in the first-team.

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has revealed N'Golo Kante could be back in action before the next international.

Kante suffered a hamstring injury while playing for France earlier this month and was initially expected to be out until mid-September. But the midfielder is progressing and could potentially make his return sooner than expected. Said Conte: "I hope to have N'Golo back soon, before the international break. He's progressing well, the scan was better than before. If he is available before Manchester United and Roma I will be very happy." Should Kante return before the international break, it will likely come against Manchester United on November 5th. For the duration of his absence the midfield duties will be handled by Cesc Fabregas and Tiemoune Bakayoko, while Danny Drinkwater could factor in once he returns to full fitness.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola confirmed in his pre-match press conference that forward Sergio Aguero is fit to start.

The Argentine international has been limited over the last three weeks after sustaining a broken rib injury during Gameweek 7. However, while being in the side for the club's last three matches, including Tuesday's Champions League win against Napoli, the club's leading scorer has not started. Said manager Pep Guardiola: "The game against Stoke, he [Aguero] had done just one training session. The game against Napoli he was ready and, of course, he’s ready for tomorrow." However, it remains to be seen whether the striker will get the start with the club coming off a seven-goal performance against Stoke last weekend. A start for Aguero would mean the bench for in-form attackers Gabriel Jesus, Leroy Sane or Raheem Sterling after contributing a combined four goals and three assists last weekend.

Huddersfield Town midfielder Phillip Billing is facing the prospect of surgery and eight to 12 weeks on sidelines due to the an ankle injury suffered in the 2-0 defeat at Swansea City.
