West Ham United co-chairman David Gold has confirmed on Twitter that Andy Carroll should be available for Saturday’s game at Stoke City.

The return of Carroll will be a massive boost for Slaven Bilic's side ahead of the trip to the bet365 Stadium, as the Hammers have won just one of their last five matches without the 28-year-old this season. Carroll was unable to play in Saturday's 0-0 draw with Everton, which saw Jonathan Calleri make his first Premier League start, but should return to starting XI against the Potters. Carroll, who missed the 1-1 draw with Stoke City earlier this season, has scored five goals over the course of his last 10 starts.

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has reported that Gary Cahill has returned to training after gastroenteritis and may be available for selection against Southampton.

Cahill missed Saturday's FA Cup semi-final following illness last week but could be involved against the Saints on Tuesday. "Gary yesterday he trained with us and also today," Conte said. "It is normal to check his condition and I want to speak very well with him tomorrow before I take the decision." Conte also confirmed he has no new injury or illness concerns following the win over Tottenham, and is likely to recall Diego Costs and Eden Hazard after leaving them out of the starting XI at Wembley. "I have in my mind the starting 11 but tomorrow I want to check very well the physical consideration of every single player as our last game was an intense one and used energy," the Italian boss added.

With erratic performances in between the sticks this season, West Ham United are reportedly considering a summer swoop for a new goalkeeper.

According to reports in Turkey, West Ham are in talks with 29-year-old Trabzonspor captain Onur Kivark ahead of the summer transfer window. The report also claims that Kivark, who kept 13 clean sheets in 27 appearances this term, was targeted by Slaven Bilic during his time in charge of Besiktas. The news comes in the wake of a pair of inconsistent performances by Darren Randolph, which saw Bilic recall former starter Adrian for Saturday's nil-nil draw with Everton.

Middlesbrough will be without Gaston Ramirez for Wednesday's home game against Sunderland after his dismissal during the 4-0 loss at Bournemouth.

The absence of Ramirez is a big blow ahead of the Riverside edition of Tees-Wear derby, as Middlesbrough is nine points from safety with just five matches remaining. The Uruguayan attacking midfielder was sent off against Bournemouth for a pair of bookable offenses, the first for a clear dive in the area and second after a dangerous lunge on Marc Pugh in the 19th minute of the match. Although the second yellow seemed harsh considering there wasn't much contact, the reckless intent of the challenge was rightly booked by the referee. Steve Agnew is expected to start Adama Traore with Ramirez unavailable, while Adam Forshaw could also be recalled with defensive midfielders Marten de Roon (ankle) and Grant Leadbitter (hamstring) both in doubt.

Leicester City manager Craig Shakespeare has confirmed Wes Morgan and Islam Slimani will both miss Wednesday's game against Arsenal.

Morgan limped off in last week's 1-1 Champions League quarter-final draw with Atletico Madrid, with what Shakespeare had hoped just a cramp. However, the manager revealed in his pre-match press conference on Monday, the problem will force the center-back to miss the clash at the Emirates Stadium. On Morgan's injury, Shakespeare said: "The first impression was it was cramp. He’s overstretched his hamstring, but it hasn’t gone into a full-blown pull yet. We’re hoping that it’s a precaution on Wednesday and we’ll then look towards Saturday." Meanwhile, Islam Slimani will also miss out on the trip to Arsenal with a groin strain. "He [Slimani] hasn’t been on the pitch yet but we’re hoping to speed that recovery up and get him out this week," Shakespeare added.

Leicester City manager Craig Shakespeare has confirmed that Nampalys Mendy will miss the remainder of the season after undergoing surgery on his ankle.

Mendy has not played since the 1-0 defeat to Millwall in the the 5th round of the FA Cup in mid-February and will now miss the rest of the term after having an ankle operation to resolve his long-term ankle problem. The French defensive midfielder, a £13million signing from Nice last summer, was limited to just eight appearances in all competitions after injuring his ankle on his Premier League debut against Arsenal back in September. The prolonged absence of Mendy should see Wilfried Ndidi hold a firm place in the starting XI for the rest of the campaign, with Andy King also seeing an increase in minutes. "Unfortunately Papy Mendy had to have an ankle operation in France," Shakespeare said on Monday. "He’s going to be back with us doing his rehab. He had a floating bone in there that needed looking after and he’s out now until the end of the season."

Manchester United face the prospect of playing against their City rivals without several key players as their injury problems continue to grow.

Fresh from Thursdays double whammy, which saw Marcos Rojo and Zlatan Ibrahimović ruled out for the rest of the season, and potentially, the remainder of 2017. Jose Mourinho was dealt another blow with the news that Ander Herrera and Paul Pogba face a race against time to make the Manchester derby. Although Herrera was able to complete 90 minutes at Turf Moor, the Spaniard took a heavy ankle knock and limped through the latter stages of the game. Pogba on the other hand, wasn’t so lucky, and the France international was helped off as the game went into time added on: "Dead he is for sure, if he’s injured or if it’s just the super accumulation of fatigue in the muscles, I don’t know," said Jose Mourinho after the game. "But as I was saying, if he cannot play Thursday he cannot play Thursday, we play another one and we don’t cry, like we didn’t today." Both players will be assessed during the build-up to the match.

Zlatan Ibrahimović has vowed to come back "even stronger" after Manchester United confirmed he suffered a serious knee ligament injury during Thursdays Europa League win over Anderlecht.

Although he continues to be assessed, initial reports suggest Ibrahimović has torn his anterior cruciate ligament while he also sustained damage to his meniscus, potentially ruling him out for around 12 months. Stories on Sunday indicated that the out-of-contract 35-year-old may not play again, but a post from his personal Instagram account poured cold water on the very notion by stating he is not ready to give up just yet: "I will be out of football for a while. I will go through this like everything else and come back even stronger. So far, I played with one leg so it shouldn't be any problem. One thing is for sure, I decide when it's time to stop and nothing else. Giving up is not an option. See you soon." Jose Mourinho will step up his search for a replacement this summer with the latest reports linking United with Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata.

N'Golo Kante has seen his hard work recognized across the league after taking home the PFA Player of the Year award.

The French international has enjoyed a stellar last two seasons as he looks to become the first player since Eric Cantona to win consecutive Premier League titles with two different clubs. After arriving in a £32 million move from Leicester City, Kante has been the engine of a revamped Chelsea side under manager Antonio Conte. Said Kante: "To be chosen by the players to be player of the year means a lot to me. It means the world to be chosen and it's been two beautiful seasons, one with Leicester, and we are in good form with Chelsea. To be player of the year, it's a great honour."

Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli has added another PFA Young Player of the Year award to his growing trophy case.

The emerging superstar has seen no signs of a sophomore slump, recording 16 league goals and seven assists for second-place Spurs this season after winning the award last season since arriving from MK Dons. And at 21 years old, they may as well name the trophy after Alli with three more years of eligibility for the Young Players Award, which saw him beat out Harry Kane and Romelu Lukaku among others. "I'm extremely proud. It's a great honour for me - obviously the second year in a row - but I've still got a lot to do, I've got to keep working hard. I've got to keep improving."

Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata is hopeful that he will be fit for selection before the end of the season.

The Spaniard underwent surgery on a groin injury in March, and manager Jose Mourinho had ruled him out for the remainder of the season. However, in his weekly blog, Mata posted a more upbeat prognosis, revealing that he will be back with the team soon: "But the truth is I’m feeling much better now and I hope to be back with the team soon, to try to help in the last spell of the season. I hope so, because that’s all I want: being always available to help and to contribute as much as I can, both on and off the pitch," he explained. This will come as welcome news to Man Utd, who are struggling with a mounting injury list as they continue to fight on two fronts for Champions League qualification.
