Chelsea have announced a deal for Brazilian attacking midfielder WIllian but some believe it could be a double swoop that involves striker Samuel Eto'o.

To be honest, I'm not sure if Eto'o would be any better than the current options at Chelsea. Some reports suggest he would only cost around £2m, and that's pocket change for Chelsea, so that could be worth the risk. If Eto'o comes, Demba Ba, Fernando Torres, or Romelu Lukaku would have to leave. I would not be surprised to see Ba leave or Lukaku go on another loan.

Kieran Gibbs will miss yet another Arsenal match due to injury with the ankle injury that kept him out of the Everton and West Ham matches persisting for one more week.

With Gibbs out and Nacho Monreal nursing a minor knock Arsenal's left back position continues to be a source of concern. Gibbs' frequent injury troubles and Monreal's lack of pace (along with Wenger's refusal to play a midfielder who can spell defense in front of his left back) has seen Arsenal's left flank be a consistent problem. With the summer transfer window looming you have to wonder where left back and a more two-way left sided midfielder sit in Arsenal's list of priorities.

Rafael's hamstring injury has persisted with the right back to miss Manchester United's match with Champions League hopefuls Everton.

Manchester United's back line has been hard hit by injuries in recent months and Rafael's lingering hamstring injury has been no exception. Like teammate Jonny Evans, Rafael's return to the line-up has been expected for a number of weeks but it seems highly unlikely to actually happen this week. While reports have the Brazilian close to returning it would be foolish to put too much stock into a Week 36 return given the reported probability of return for the last couple weeks.

Christian Eriksen registered two assists, both from set pieces, to help propel Tottenham over Fulham 3-1.

Eriksen continued to add to his case as one of the most dynamic young players in the Premier League by again providing the heartbeat of the Spurs attack. After an uneventful opening half hour, Eriksen delivered a free kick which Paulinho met at the back post after he sneaked behind the entire Fulham defense. Early in the second half, Harry Kane scored what proved to be the game-winner with a header of an Aaron Lennon cross to give him three goals in his first three PL starts. Eriksen then would put it to bed with another well placed free kick that met the knee of Younes Kaboul and caromed in. Eriksen now has eight assists on the season to go along with his seven goals.

Steve Sidwell added to his team leading goal total by scoring his seventh of the season today, but it was not enough to get a positive result as Fulham lost to Tottenham 3-1.

Spurs were caught napping a bit, allowing Fulham to level just moments after Paulinho scored the opener. It was a nice move from Sidwell who, while charging into the box, caught up to his own attempted pass and pushed through the center of the Spurs defense to beat Hugo Lloris for his seventh league goal this season. After then falling behind, the Cottagers had a chance to get back in it when they were awarded a penalty due to a Christian Eriksen handball. Sidwell took it, much to the dismay of teammate Hugo Rodallega, and did not manage to get it past Lloris, who was top class today. Fulham will look to bounce back next week in a must win against Hull City.

Arsenal's record signing Mesut Ozil may figure in Sunday's dress rehearsal for the FA Cup Final against Hull City.

Arsenal's injury crisis is slowly coming around with Aaron Ramsey returning to action over the last few matches and now Mesut Ozil is close to a return as well. It is not certain that he'll be ready to play on Sunday but fantasy managers should watch his status for the chance that he may be available at a reasonable price for Arsenal's tame season-ending schedule.

Marouane Fellaini has recovered and will be fit to face former club Everton in Week 35.

Marouane Fellaini has made a recent bid to salvage a rough first season at Manchester United and he will relish the chance to shine against his former club this weekend. Coming off a calf injury, the big Belgian and his manager will be looking to make good in a season that has seen their former club best their current club in the standings. Fellaini still isn't a great fantasy bet but at least he's getting closer to being the player that United thought it was paying all that money for.

Roberto Martinez will not rule out Phil Jageilka for Everton's clash with Manchester United on Sunday, but he did state the defender's chances were unlikely.

With the way John Stones has performed in his absence, there is no reason for Martinez to push Jagielka at all, so Stones owners should feel relatively safe in their asset. Everton picked up all 21 possible points in the seven games he missed prior to their defeat last weekend to Crystal Palace so it would be hard to justify making changes at the back. Even when Jags is declared fully fit, there's no guarantee he will slot right back in to the XI.
Apr 18 - 2:36 PM

James McCarthy has been declared fit and available for Everton as they get set to host Manchester United on Sunday.

McCarthy made a half hour appearance in Everton's midweek loss to Crystal Palace and came through okay. He will likely return to partnering Gareth Barry in central midfield as the Toffees look to bounce back against a United side that should have Wayne Rooney available.

Manuel Pellegrini is expecting to 'continue with the same situation' against West Brom, meaning he expects David Silva, Jesus Navas, Matija Nastasic and Yaya Toure to miss out through injury.

The absence of Yaya Toure and Nastasic is no surprise, but the loss of Silva and Navas for a second game in a row is a blow for Pellegrini, as both men had been tipped to return against West Brom. James Milner and Javi Garcia are therefore likely to continue in midfield, with Samir Nasri set for a key attacking role in support of Sergio Aguero and either Edin Dzeko or Alvaro Negrado.

Chelsea are close to agreeing on a two year contract extension with John Terry.

Chelsea assistant Steve Holland reported that Chelsea are working on giving Terry a new contract and he hopes to have a deal soon within the next two weeks. Terry has had a phenomenal comeback season under Jose Mourinho and he's led Chelsea to 15 clean sheets in his 32 appearances. That is a phenomenal record and he continues to be a good fantasy choice. Age doesn't affect defenders as much as other positions and they can usually compensate for their lack of speed with intelligence and positioning. Expect Terry's form to continue.

Eden Hazard hasn't returned to training yet and has been ruled out for Chelsea's match against Sunderland on Saturday.

Hazard is expected to try and return against Atletico Madrid on Tuesday so continue monitoring his status going forward. If Hazard returns against Atletico in midweek, he is a good bet to play against Liverpool next weekend in what is shaping up to be the game that will decide the Premier League title. In his absence, feel free to use Mohamed Salah this weekend.
