Former Texas A&M sophomore QB Kenny Hill made his transfer to TCU official.

Hill will begin classes on June 1. The former Aggie starter will sit out the 2015 season due to NCAA regulations, but could be the heir apparent to Trevone Boykin during his final season of collegiate play. Hill was off to a quick start last year, but was replaced as the starter and was suspended shortly after for two game..

Former Oklahoma junior RB Keith Ford will transfer to Texas A&M.

Ford said as much a few days ago, but now it is official. Texas A&M already has an Oklahoma running back transfer on the roster in Brandon Williams.

Penn State dismissed CB Da’Quan Davis following drug and underage drinking charges.

"Da’Quan Davis is no longer a member of the Penn State football team due to a violation of team rules," HC James Franklin said. "We appreciate Da’Quan’s contributions to the program and wish him success in the future." Davis was arrested on May 9 and charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was also cited for purchasing alcoholic beverages as a minor.

Ohio State junior RB Ezekiel Elliott's injured left wrist has been fully medically cleared.

It speaks well to the prospect's toughness that you may not have known he had an injured wrist to begin with. Elliott broke his wrist in practice last August and underwent minor surgery, playing the season with a cast on his left wrist, which forced him to only carry with the right arm. "I was just out there basically playing with one hand. I was one-handed," Elliott told reporters in April. "I couldn't carry the ball in my left hand, I couldn't punch with it. I couldn't do much with it. I was pretty handicapped." If the 6-foot, 225-pounder can run for 1,878 yards and 18 touchdowns while handicapped, ruminate on what he'll do now fully healthy.

Arkansas HC Bret Bielema is shuffling his starting OL, including LT, RT and RG.

Junior Denver Kirkland is moving from right guard to left tackle. Junior Dan Skipper is moving from left tackle to right tackle. Frank Ragnow will be the new right guard. Arkansas is built on running the football with Alex Collins and Johnathan Williams, so expect these changes to maximize that element of the offense.

Missouri dismissed projected starting redshirt sophomore DE Marcus Loud for a violation of team rules.

The Tigers are looking for two starting edge rushers with Shane Ray and Markus Golden playing in the NFL next season. The school has produced four NFL draft picks at the position in the last two years. Sophomore Charles Harris is the only edge rusher on the roster who has played an FBS snap.

NFL Media notes that Alabama junior DT A'Shawn Robinson "plays a lot like former Alabama defensive tackle Marcell Dareus, who was the No. 3 overall pick of the 2011 NFL Draft by the Buffalo Bills."

Robinson is "a burly, space-munching defensive tackle who dominates the interior ... although he's not to be confused with a stationary nose guard-type," wrote NFL.com's Chase Goodbread. "He led Alabama in sacks as a freshman in 2013 and has the athleticism to disrupt the backfield." Robinson recorded 49 tackles and 6.5 TFL to earn honorable mention All-SEC honors last year. NFL Media ranks Robinson as the No. 5 defensive player in the country.

Arizona State offensive coordinator Mike Norvell said graduate WR Devin Lucien can pick up some slack left from the departure of No. 1 receiver Jaelen Strong.

Lucien, a UCLA graduate transfer, was recruited by Norvell when the latter coached at Tulsa. "He can be a home run hitter for us, a big play threat," Norvell says. "He can help us do some of the things Jaelen did." D.J. Foster has also been ticketed for more time on the perimeter to make up for Strong's absence.

Arizona State offensive coordinator Mike Norvell said Arizona State senior OW D.J. Foster will "line up at every position you can possibly imagine."

For starters, you'll see Foster as a running back, slot receiver and lined up on the perimeter. "Our versatility will allow us to keep free from too many tendencies," Norvell said. The Sun Devils lost top receivers Jaelen Strong (NFL) and Cameron Smith (knee surgery) this offseason, which means they must replace 123 catches and 16 touchdowns. Despite that, ASU should light up the scoreboard again in 2015.

Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher said graduate QB Everett Golson will not be handed the starting job over redshirt junior Sean Maguire.

The 6-foot-3, 224-pound Maguire has spent the past few seasons backing up Jameis Winston. Golson, on the other hand, has 23 starts at Notre Dame under his belt. It was Golson, Seminoles fans haven't forgotten, who nearly completed a stunning upset of FSU in Doak Campbell Stadium last fall (Irish fans, and perhaps Golson himself, still swear Notre Dame won that game). Maguire and Golson will have a fair competition for the starting job. We expect Golson to win.
