Michigan junior RB Fitzgerald Toussaint was carted off the field early in Saturday's game against Iowa with a lower left leg injury.

Denard Robinson actually started the game at running back for Michigan, with junior Devin Gardner at quarterback. It appeared Michigan was set to run both Toussaint and Denard plenty, but this could mean even more touches for the latter going forward.

Baylor has proposed to release information on every incident of sexual assault which has occurred at the school since 2003.

"Baylor has made a proposal to the court regarding contested issues in pending litigation. The court has not yet ruled on this proposal. This information has yet to be compiled and is separate from the investigation conducted by Pepper Hamilton," the university said in a statement on Monday. This proposed release is related to a Title IV lawsuit by 10 former students who are alleging they were sexually assaulted while enrolled. That is just one of six Title IV lawsuits Baylor is currently wading its way through.

Auburn received a verbal commitment from three-star 2018 WR Shedrick Jackson.

Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, Memphis and Missouri were also in play, here. Jackson (6'1/195) has one major claim to fame -- he is the nephew of all-universe athlete, Bo Jackson, who himself played at Auburn. "Obviously it’s going to get a lot of attention. But really what you’ve got to do is go out there and make a name for yourself," explained the newest baby Tiger to SEC Country earlier in the spring. "It’s not Bo Jackson going out there anymore. It’s not him scoring touchdowns or running 40-yard dashes." He also raised the bar on himself, saying, "There are tons of expectations, but really I just want to go out there and be better than he was." Good luck with that, Mr. Jackson. We will be starting up our old Tecmo Bowl games in anticipation.

Michigan HC Jim Harbaugh said that junior T Grant Newsome (knee) will likely take a medical redshirt this season.

"I suspect this year would be a redshirt for Grant," Harbaugh said. "He will be a student coach and rehabbing his leg. But it’s going well. So Grant will be a great influence on the team." The 6-foot-7, 318-pounder sustained a serious leg injury against Wisconsin last October, one which required multiple surgeries and a month-long stay in the hospital. Harbaugh, ever-optimistic, indicated that he believes that Newsome will play again down the road.

USC received a verbal commitment from four-star 2018 RB Mychale Salahuddin.

"Nothing is set in stone. I'll still be taking visits but I'm taking advantage of the opportunity that's in front of me," Salahuddin said. Rivals ranks the 5-foot-11, 190-pounder as the No. 140 overall prospect for the 2018 cycle. Outlet analyst Adam Friedman notes that the Trojan pledge "has the toughness to pound the ball between the tackles but is still very fast around the edge" and adds that he is "also very good as a receiver out of the backfield and that versatility will add to the firepower USC already has on offense."

Former redshirt freshman TE Jovani Haskins transferred to West Virginia.

Haskins reunites with former Miami teammate QB Jack Allison on West Virginia's roster. The 6-foot-4, 245-pound tight end, a three-star recruit, ranked as ESPN's No. 15 TE prospect in the 2016 class. Haskins redshirted in 2016. He'll sit out in 2017 and have three years of eligibility remaining starting in 2018.

Nebraska HC Mike Riley left the door open for freshman WR Keyshawn Johnson Jr. to return to the team.

Earlier this month, Johnson Jr. was cited for marijuana possession in a Nebraska residence hall. His father, former NFL WR Keyshawn Johnson, announced that Johnson Jr. will not play in 2017 because he needs time to "mature." Riley indicated that he'd welcome Johnson Jr. back in 2018. "I think there’s kind of a wellness factor for Keyshawn going home," Riley said. "We talked to him about the possibility of maybe enrolling part time and taking care of his progress toward his degree, and also getting in great shape. And we opened the door for return, which is just kind of left open that we’ll deal with at the time that he is physically and mentally ready to do that."

Former Kansas State sophomore WR Corey Sutton transferred to Appalachian State.

Sutton dominated the college football news cycle earlier this month after he and HC Bill Snyder feuded over Sutton's decision to transfer. Snyder and Kansas State denied Sutton's release to all 35 schools he requested, leading Sutton to take his case to the public. Facing intense pressure, KSU ultimately granted Sutton's release, leading to his move east. Sutton, a three-star recruit, caught four passes for 54 yards last year. He must sit out the 2017 season due to NCAA transfer rules. He’ll have three seasons of eligibility remaining as a redshirt sophomore in 2018.

TCU received a verbal commitment from four-star 2018 LB Ben Wilson.

Wilson (6'2/215) opted for the Horned Frogs over Cal, Washington State, Louisville, Arizona State, Vanderbilt and Utah. While high school numbers should be taken with a grain of salt, Wilson posted some eye-popping stats as a junior at Sumner Senior High (Washington), registering 201 tackles (16.0 for loss) and 8.5 sacks. Former NFLer Reggie Jones, who now works at Rise Football Academy, said of Wilson, "Fearless physicality and he's a true student of the game. His game is universal." Jones added the juicy note that he believes that the TCU commit has the potential to play in the NFL down the road.

Cal senior G Dwayne Wallace is no longer with the team.

No reason was given. Losing a starting offensive lineman in late June is obviously a disappointing development for the Golden Bears. The 6-foot-5, 330-pounder started nine of the 12 games he played in last season, his first and last with Cal after Wallace spent his first two years of eligibility at a JUCO. He was set to be Cal’s starting right guard.

Kansas AD Sheahon Zenger announced plans for a $300 million renovation to Memorial Stadium.

Zenger announced those plans while speaking at a booster event on Wednesday. In addition to the anticipated stadium renovation, Kansas is also aiming to build a new indoor practice facility. Jayhawks HC David Beaty offered his two cents on these big moves, saying, "It’s exciting for me, because it’s a great time to be at KU." The specific plans are expected to be released to the public in September.

Vanderbilt received a verbal commitment from four-star 2018 CB Tre Douglas.

Douglas (6'2/180) sided with Vanderbilt over big dogs like Alabama, Georgia, Michigan and Oklahoma. Scout.com's Chris Smith offers a scouting breakdown of the McDonough, Georgia, native, writing, "Douglas is a elite level corner back who has size, athleticism, length and the skill set to become a lock down cover corner on the college level." Smith believes that Douglas' commitment could bolster Vanderbilt's recruiting efforts moving forward, as he ranks as the No. 237 overall prospect for the 2018 cycle and could potentially help to heighten the allure of the program now that he is in the fold.
