Louisiana Tech WR Quinton Patton tweeted a picture of his Senior Bowl invitation Monday and is expected to attend the event.

Patton is a section favorite due to his fluidity in routes and body control while adjusting to make the catch. Player comparisons are tricky, but a lot of his game reminds us of Reggie Wayne, and Patton may end up being the top outside senior receiver drafted in April. Mississippi State cornerback Johnthan Banks previously stated that Patton was his most difficult matchup in college.

Baylor redshirt junior RB Terence Williams (shoulder) will return against Oklahoma on Saturday.

Williams ended up returning on the short-end of his three-game minimum timeline following offseason shoulder surgery. The 6-foot-2, 225-pounder rushed for 1,048 yards and 11 touchdowns last year. He'll be the focal point of offense until JaMycal Hasty returns (if not beyond). "Terence will get the lion’s share of the carries," Rhule said of Saturday's game.

The Read Optional cites an unnamed lawyer representing one of Florida's players in reporting that junior WR Antonio Callaway, redshirt freshman DE Jordan Smith and one other unnamed player are "likely to be arrested on charges of felony grand theft."

Not only that, but, per the website, there's a "possibility of further misdemeanor charges being tagged on." Callaway, Smith and the unnamed third player are three of the nine Gator football players under indefinite suspension for making improper charges on their student debit cards and then selling those items for cash. The players, according to the Read Optional, claim that the debit cards were stolen. Charges against the three are expected to be filed later this week or next week, while the other six are expected to be arrested as well.

Oregon HC Willie Taggart is hopeful that senior WR Charles Nelson (lower-leg) can return for Saturday's game against Arizona State.

"Hopefully he’ll be back here soon and be ready to go," Taggart said. Nelson was carted off the field with the injury against Wyoming on Saturday. Nelson leads the team with 15 catches for 243 yards. He's also run for a score.

Iowa senior RB Akrum Wadley said his ankle is fine.

Wadley appeared to suffer an ankle injury in Saturday's win over North Texas, but he's apparently shaken its ill-effects quickly. With James Butler set to miss this weekend's game against Penn State, Wadley will get all the touches he can handle. Toren Young and Kelly Ivory-Martin will also see the field off the bench.

TCU HC Gary Patterson indicated that redshirt senior RB Kyle Hicks (undisclosed) will be a game-time decision at Oklahoma State on Saturday.

Hicks sat out the opener against Jackson State due to an undisclosed injury he suffered in August camp. He had 12 carries two weeks ago against Arkansas, and then ramped it up to 11 carries in the first half over the weekend against SMU before he got "dinged again," per Patterson. Hicks ended up sitting out the second half of that contest. Patterson said Hicks is "closer to playing than not." We'll update you on his status as this situation develops.

Nebraska HC Mike Riley said that sophomore RB Tre Bryant (knee) remains questionable for Saturday's game against Rutgers.

Bryant missed the Cornhusker's upset loss to NIU last Saturday. In that one, junior Mikale Wilbon had 24 carries for 90 yards. Wilbon will start again if Bryant can't go. Bryant rushed for 299 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the first two games.

Kent State redshirt senior QB Nick Holley (ACL) will miss the rest of the season.

Holley's Monday MRI results confirmed Kent State's worst fear: That he'd suffered a torn ACL in Saturday’s loss at Marshall. This marks the third straight year that the fifth-year senior has suffered a season-ending injury. There's a chance that the NCAA would grant a sixth-year of eligibility due to medical hardship, but the Record-Courier notes that a "decision on whether or not to explore that opportunity has not yet been made." Since shifting from WR to QB at the beginning of conference play last year, Holley ran for 100 yards or more in six of the eight games he started and finished.

Ohio HC Frank Solich indicated that senior WR Papi White (hand) will miss 2-3 weeks.

White (5'9/171) suffered the hand injury against Kansas on Saturday and sat out the second half. Solich has in effect ruled out White for this weekend's tilt against Eastern Michigan and next week's game against UMass. White could return on Oct. 7 against Central Michigan.

The MMQB's Albert Breer spoke with one NFL scout who called Oklahoma State senior QB Mason Rudolph "a Day 3 guy."

"Not as good as the media wants everyone to believe," the scout added, commenting on Rudolph's lack of accuracy, adequate arm strength and even drew a comparison to Bryce Petty. The scout was not alone, as Breer also spoke with a scouting director who called Rudolph "O.K." and another personnel exec who called attention to "lacking" arm strength and inconsistent accuracy. We continue to be amazed that the NFL focuses so much on arm rather than feet and eyes, since handling pressure in the pocket is pivotal to quarterback success.

NFL Draft Analyst's Tony Pauline believes that Wyoming redshirt junior QB Josh Allen's draft stock is declining.

"The bottom line is Allen was not good against Iowa and was atrocious against Oregon," Pauline said. "There’s plenty of season left and no reason to stamp final grades on any player at this point but this much is certain- Allen must quickly turn it around." For the season, the 6-foot-5, 233-pound quarterback has completed 56.3 percent of his passes with a 3-2 touchdown-to-interception ratio. He'll look to rebuild that stock starting on Saturday when the Cowboys travel to Hawaii.

Georgia sophomore QB Jacob Eason (knee) was able to practice in portions on Monday.

Eason missed the last two games with the knee injury he suffered in the opener against Appalachian State. There's still no timetable for his return, and if he's unable to go, freshman Jacob Fromme will get his third straight start against Mississippi State.
