Texas A&M junior Ts Luek Joeckel and Jake Matthews are still undecided on their NFL future, according to SI's Tony Pauline.

This is surprising news, especially for Joeckel who could be in the running for the top overall pick. We could see Matthews returning even if Joeckel leaves since he would take over at left tackle. Both are very talented juniors and we should hear a decision following their bowl game.

CBS Sports' Bruce Feldman reports former Texas Tech junior DT Delvon Simmons will visit USC on Sunday.

Simmons is a former five star recruit and started every game in 2012, registering six tackles for loss, including two sacks. The Trojans are fairly young at the position, with future NFL prospects like George Uko and Leonard Williams leading the way, but that won;t stop them from potentially adding Simmons to their roster.

Scouts Inc.'s Kevin Weidl believes evaluators should keep an eye out for Oregon State senior CB Rashaad Reynolds.

Reynolds "has popped on tape," Weidl tweeted. "Physical, instinctive and has ball production." Reynolds played alongside Jordan Poyer last season, who lacked outstanding physical skill but showed good awareness in a variety of coverages. The senior will start for the third straight year at the position.

Oklahoma State could be blocking sophomore QB Wes Lunt from transferring to Big 12 and SEC schools, along with Southern Miss, according to Jimmie Tramel.

Southern Miss has been the logical fit all along, since former Oklahoma State offensive coordinator Todd Monken took over the head coach role there. Other potential destinations not among these possible blocked locations are Illinois and Louisville.

Boise State redshirt senior S Ebo Makinde ran a 4.24 forty during the team's spring testing.

The time was .04 faster than Makinde ran last year and obviously was the quickest on the roster. "Makinde was first in the three-cone drill and pro-agility test, second in the vertical jump and third in the broad jump," according to beat writer Chad Crippe.

The Sideline View's Lance Zierlein believes Oregon redshirt sophomore QB Marcus Mariota should be mentioned in the discussion for the No. 1 pick in 2014.

Zierlein mentions the popular choices of Jadeveon Clowney and Teddy Bridgewater as well. Mariota's natural tools are outstanding and he fits the new generation of quarterback prospects, however, it is a realistic question to ask if he will continue to improve at a steady pace without Chip Kelly.

Oregon junior De'Anthony Thomas ranks as Mel Kiper's top draft-eligible RB for the 2014 Draft.

"Is he a running back?" Kiper asks. "He's a little bit of everything, but he's a running back on my board because handing him the ball is the quickest way to get it to him, and getting him the ball is the most important thing... Thomas will never be a bulk-carry runner, and he doesn't have the route-running skills of a guy like Tavon Austin, who he might be compared to based on the burst." Oregon will likely be running a similar offense in 2013, but it will be interesting to see if anyone takes a step back after the school lost Chip Kelly to the NFL.

ESPN's Mel Kiper believes Alabama's A.J. McCarron is the No. 2 ranked QB among the senior class.

Clemson's Tajh Boyd ranks as the top senior prospect at the position. "But give McCarron credit, because he really can stretch defenses with his arm, and the fact that he doesn't make costly mistakes shouldn't just be labeled as a case where he's not allowed to take his shots," Kiper writes. David Fales, Logan Thomas, and Derek Carr round out the top five.

USF HC Willie Taggart believes redshirt sophomore DE Aaron Lynch has matured during his time at USF, and part of that transformation can be seen with his weight.

"The thing I really like is how much he has grown as a person in just the short amount of time that I've been here," Taggart said. "I came in and I heard he was this and he was that. That he wasn't accountable. That he was undisciplined. That he did things his own way. But the kid has been totally different since we've been here. He's really taken care of his business, on and off the field." Lynch currently weighs 245 pounds after playing at 270 while attending Notre Dame. Taggart would like Lynch to weigh in the 250-260 range.

Scouts Inc.'s Kevin Weidl believes Oregon redshirt sophomore QB Marcus Mariota has loads of upside but needs major development.

Specifically, that development needs to be in the form of mechanics and footwork as a thrower. "Mariota misses strike zone and forces WRs to adjust too much limiting their YAC," Weidl tweeted. "All can improve if able to balance platform in lower half. Mariota will be very appealing for ZR teams. Decisive facilitator. Also long strider that can ruin pursuit angles when reaching 2nd level."

TCU sophomore DE Devonte Fields has been suspended for the first two games of the 2013 season for violation of team policy.

Despite only being a freshman last year, Fields made his presence felt and is the top pass rusher on TCU's entire roster. He started all 13 games in 2012 and posted 18.5 tackles for loss including 10 sacks. The Horned Frogs open against LSU.

The Sideline View's Lance Zierlein believes evaluators should "get to know" Texas A&M redshirt junior RT Cedric Ogbuehi.

Ogbuehi is making the move from right guard to right tackle since senior Jake Matthews is switching to the blindside in 2013. "He will be right up there with Jake Matthews in next year's draft if he ends up coming out," Zierlein tweeted. There's a lot to like about the athletic Ogbuehi, but we expect him to stay for the 2014 season and move to the left tackle position, which seems to be the career path for recent Aggie tackles.
