Cincinnati senior TE Travis Kelce caught five passes for 123 yards and a touchdown in the school's bowl game against Duke.

This was one of Kelce's best performances and it couldn't have come at a better time. In the fourth quarter, Kelce took a five yard curl and displayed a nice wiggle to evade tacklers for a 35 yard gain. Later in the same quarter, Kelce lined up as a bracketed receiver and converted a seam catch for 83 yards due to excellent straight-line strides to pull away from the defense. The likely third day pick will help an NFL roster.

Iowa State redshirt freshman QB Zeb Noland will start Saturday's game against Baylor.

Kyle Kempt (undisclosed) warmed up on Saturday, but the Cyclones have ultimately opted to rest him up against the Bears. Noland threw for 263 yards and an interception in last weekend's loss to Oklahoma State after Kempt was injured in that contest.

Michigan redshirt freshman QB Brandon Peters was forced out of Saturday's game against Wisconsin late in the third quarter after landing hard on his shoulder.

Peters was hit just as he was releasing the ball. The hit itself was not late or illegal, but the redshirt freshman's shoulder/arm took all the weight of the defender as he went down. He stayed down for several minutes after suffering the injury before being carted off the field. John O'Korn will almost certainly finish out the game at quarterback with Peters out. Expect Michigan to provide an update on the gunslinger's status for next weekend's showdown with Ohio State in the coming days.
Nov 18 - 2:42 PM

Syracuse junior QB Eric Dungey (foot) is warming up in advance of Saturday's game against Louisville.

Dungey sat against Wake Forest last weekend while on the mend from his foot injury. He warmed up prior to that contest but did not ultimately take the field -- Zack Mahoney started in his place. We'll pass along word if Dungey ends up sitting once again, but so far, he's tracking toward starting action.
Nov 18 - 2:22 PM

Wyoming redshirt junior QB Josh Allen was the first player announced for Wyoming's senior day introductions.

Allen is a junior. He's also not playing today against Fresno State, but dressed in pads to come out for the introduction. It's the strongest indication yet that he'll declare for the NFL Draft after this season. He's a projected first-round pick.
Nov 18 - 2:21 PM

West Virginia redshirt junior QB Will Grier (finger) won't return to Saturday's game against Texas.

Grier suffered a grotesque finger injury while diving for the pylon (and fumbling) in the first quarter. He suffered a dislocation of a finger on his throwing hand. Chris Chugunov came on in his place and will close out the game. West Virginia is praying that Grier will be available for next week's finale against Oklahoma.

Wyoming redshirt junior QB Josh Allen (shoulder) is not warming up with the team in advance of Saturday's game against Fresno State.

The last update we received on Allen regarded a missed Tuesday practice while he received "specialized treatment" on his throwing shoulder. Since he hasn't been seen in warmups, it's almost assured that Allen won't be active today. Expect Nick Smith to draw the start.
Nov 18 - 1:14 PM

West Virginia redshirt junior QB Will Grier (finger) left for the locker room in the first quarter of Saturday's game against Texas.

Grier was scrambling left and attempting to stretch into the end zone when he fumbled the ball into the end zone. On the landing, his finger got caught in the turf and bent in an ugly fashion. Grier left for the locker room. We'd consider him doubtful to return. To add insult to injury, Grier's fumble was ruled a touchback. West Virginia's touchdown was wiped off the board, and Texas was given the ball at the 20.
Nov 18 - 12:41 PM

Michigan junior RB Karan Higdon (ankle) is suited up in advance of Saturday's game against Wisconsin.

With redshirt senior RB Ty Isaac (undisclosed) also back, the Wolverines have a full compliment of backs with which to attack Wisconsin's elite defense. If Higdon is indeed fully healthy, we'd expect him to work ahead of Isaac and Chris Evans.
Nov 18 - 11:58 AM

LSU junior edge rusher Arden Key did not travel with the team ahead of their game with Tennessee on Saturday.

This is a big loss for the Tigers, as Key was recovering back to his 2016 form. However, his 2017 season has been full of delays and injuries, and he suffered a new knee injury in the first quarter last week against Arkansas. He played with the ailment for two quarters before exiting. The extent of the injury has not been disclosed.
Nov 18 - 10:04 AM

Western Kentucky redshirt junior QB Mike White completed 39-of-54 passes for 485 yards and five touchdowns in a 41-38 triple-overtime victory over Middle Tennessee on Friday.

Have yourself a day, Mr. White. The overall quantity of the numbers is certainly helped by the fact that there were three overtime frames, but the quality of White's play was evident all Friday evening. With few exceptions, he was accurate, and he was able to make plays between the 20s and in the end zone. The junior signal-caller has now thrown eight touchdown passes in his last two games, and has lead the Hilltoppers to a bowl game. Western Kentucky finishes the year with a trip to Florida International.
Nov 18 - 12:03 AM

TCU freshman QB Shawn Robinson will start against Texas Tech on Saturday.

Robinson is getting the call with redshirt senior Kenny Hill suffering from a concussion. Robinson, the No. 6-ranked dual-threat quarterback in the country and a four-star recruit in the last class, is the highest-rated QB recruit to ever sign with TCU. The 247Sports Composite ranked him as the nation’s No. 198 overall recruit. "Dude has a rocket arm," Hill said of Robinson in July. "Like he can sling it. He can run. He just does a lot of things really well." Texas Tech's soft defense provides a nice matchup for his first start, but Robinson is obviously inexperienced.
