USC sophomore WR Marqise Lee left practice on Saturday with an undisclosed injury and did not return.

Head coach Lane Kiffin is "hopeful" Lee can play in Monday's bowl game. No details were given on the specific region of the injury, but beat writers noted that Lee was walking around after practice and looked fine.

Navy junior QB Zach Abey will miss the remainder of Saturday's game against UCF after sustaining a possible head injury.

Abey was taken to the locker room for evaluation after suffering the injury. While he later returned to the sideline, he did so out of pads. Garrett Lewis will finish out the contest for the Midshipmen. We'll have to wait and see as to the exact nature of Abey's injury concern.

Syracuse senior WR Steve Ishmael left Saturday's game against Miami in the second quarter.

Ishmael was injured while trying to make a tricky catch down the sideline. He landed hard, was tended to on the field, and then helped by a trainer to the locker room. We should have more information about his status shortly.
Oct 21 - 5:05 PM

Pitt junior RB Darrin Hall rushed for 254 yards and three touchdowns on 24 carries in Saturday's 24-17 win over Duke.

Hall (5'11/215) put on a show with his first two touchdown gallops, scoring from 79 yards out midway through the first quarter and then topping himself via a 92-yard run to glory in the closing seconds of the third quarter. He would cap off his afternoon's work with a go-ahead four-yard touchdown run in the final stanza to give Pitt a 21-17 lead. This singular 254-yard performance was by far the best of Hall's career -- he had rushed for 525 yards total in his three previous seasons.
Oct 21 - 5:00 PM

Dave Matter of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that Missouri sophomore RB Damarea Crockett underwent shoulder surgery on Friday.

That clears things up. Crockett was withheld from Saturday's game against Idaho, with rumors flying around that he was facing an extended absence. HC Barry Odom confirmed as much after the game. With only five games left in this lost season, it wouldn't be a surprise if the 2-5 Tigers simply shut Crockett down.
Oct 21 - 4:57 PM

Oklahoma State sophomore RB Justice Hill rushed for 117 yards on 33 carries in Saturday's 13-10 overtime win over Texas.

In a game largely dominated by the two defenses, Hill stood out as one of few shining lights on offense. The 5-foot-10, 185-pounder has been incredibly consistent this season and has now racked up four consecutive games with 100 yards rushing. He's gone off for an even 750 yards on the ground through seven games played.
Oct 21 - 4:54 PM

Missouri junior QB Drew Lock completed 23-of-33 passes for 467 yards, six touchdowns and an interception in Saturday's 68-21 win over Idaho.

Lock does as he tends to do against inferior competition and absolutely shredded the Vandals' potatoes in this one. Four of his six touchdown passes came in the first quarter as the Tigers raced out to a 34-7 advantage. This was Lock's fourth game of at least three touchdown passes and his second of at least 400 yards passing. While he remains an imperfect quarterback, he is capable of supernova numbers during any given week depending on the opponent. He should be able to rip it against UConn next Saturday.
Oct 21 - 3:53 PM

Louisville junior Lamar Jackson turned 23 rushes into 178 yards and a touchdown and went 13-for-21 through the air for 156 yards and another score in Saturday's 31-28 win over FSU.

Jackson needed to come up big to snap Louisville's three-game conference losing streak, and while he didn't do much for the air, he absolutely demoralized the Seminoles with his feet (7.7 average). He had ground success from the jump, running down the right sideline for a 22-yard touchdown run on Louisville's opening drive. Some don't think Jackson has a future as an NFL quarterback. We continue to find that ridiculous; he has a far better chance of going in Round 1 next spring than he does of not starting an NFL game at quarterback. Louisville (5-3, 2-3 ACC) travels to Wake Forest next Saturday.
Oct 21 - 3:46 PM

Michigan State junior RB LJ Scott (discipline) will not start in Saturday's game against Indiana.

This is the slap-on-the-wrist punishment for Scott's Wednesday arrest for driving on a suspended license (his seventh such arrest). While Madre London will start in his place on Saturday, Scott is still expected to play in the contest.
Oct 21 - 3:32 PM

Utah sophomore QB Tyler Huntley (shoulder) warmed up with the first-team offense and will likely start against Arizona State on Saturday.

Huntley has sat out each of the past two weeks, but looks to be good to go on Saturday. He showed no limitation in regards to the shoulder during pregame warmups. Troy Williams will serve as his backup against the Sun Devils assuming no late setbacks.
Oct 21 - 3:24 PM

Texas Tech senior RB Justin Stockton (head) has been ruled out for the remainder of Saturday's game against Iowa State.

According to Lubbock Avalanche-Journal beat writer Don Williams, Stockton is being evaluated for a head injury. Tech HC Kliff Kingsbury figures to address the situation in the post-game.
Oct 21 - 2:19 PM

Minnesota redshirt sophomore QB Demry Croft will start Saturday against Illinois.

He replaces senior Conor Rhoda, who was always a low-ceiling stopgap. With Rhoda struggling mightily against Michigan State last week, the coaching staff inserted Croft in the second quarter and the Gophers offense rallied in what became a close loss. Croft went 8-for-14 for 131 yards and three total scores in that one. He provides a dual-threat element that Rhoda lacks. The Gophers (3-3, 0-3 Big Ten) get Illinois (2-4, 0-3) later this afternoon.
