Florida junior Matt Elam's high school coach stated that the safety is going to declare for April's NFL Draft.

"I think he’s got his mind made up," Jack Daniels told beat writer Jason Lieser. "He’s gone... It’d be a bad business decision if he didn't." Elam is an extremely hard hitting and aggressive safety, especially for his lean build. He could wind up being selected int he first-round.

Maryland junior WR Stefon Diggs hasn't decided if he'll enter the NFL Draft, coach Randy Edsall said Wednesday.

Edsall told the media that he's submitted Diggs' information to the NFL advisory board, and "made calls to several general managers and college scouting directors to inquire about Diggs," according to the Washington Post. "Once we get the information back from the NFL, I’m going to sit down with his mom and him and go over all of the information that I have and present it to them. I’ll give them my opinion, and then ultimately Stefon and his family have to make the decision that they feel would be the best for him," Edsall said. Diggs currently has 52 catches for 654 yards and five touchdowns. The Maryland wideout has missed the past three games, the first because of suspension and the other two after suffering a lacerated kidney. Diggs has "been chomping at the bit" to return in the Foster Farms Bowl against Stanford on Dec. 30, Edsall said. Diggs grades out as a mid-round pick.

FSU junior DT Eddie Goldman is "leaning heavily" toward entering the 2015 NFL draft, according to Yahoo! Sports.

The website's Rand Getlin passes along that Goldman's parents have been holding meetings with potential agents. Goldman has collected 35 tackles this season, including eight for a loss. He leads Florida State with four sacks. Scouts Inc.'s Kevin Weidl believes the projected first-rounder "has some similar traits" to Michael Brockers.

Mississippi State redshirt junior LB Benardrick McKinney is considered a lock to enter the draft, according to Yahoo! Sports' Rand Getlin.

Getlin additionally reports that McKinney's camp is already vetting potential agents. McKinney leads the Bulldogs with 61 total tackles. He also has eight TFL and 3.5 sacks this season. McKinney requested feedback from the NFL Draft Advisory Board earlier this week. Seen as a likely first-rounder with a floor of a high Round 2 pick, an AFC college scouting director told NFL.com last month that McKinney looks like a "Rolando McClain or a poor man's Brian Urlacher"

Citing a source, Yahoo Sports' Rand Getlin says the number of non-seniors who declare for the 2015 draft could "dwarf" last year's record number of 107.

"The most cited reason for underclassmen jumping to the NFL? They're sick of playing without market-based compensation," Getlin tweeted. The NFL altered their Draft Advisory Board grading system in the hopes of preventing such an event, but it might not change a thing. Of the 107 prospects who declared last year despite having eligibility remaining, 45 went undrafted.

LSU redshirt sophomore WR Travin Dural will return for the 2015 season.

Dural is easily LSU's top receiver, both statistically and talent wise. He recorded 37 catches for 758 yards and seven touchdowns this season, basically doubling the school's second leading receiver. Even Dural started hot and fizzled as the season went along. LSU is very much a ground focused offense and will face Notre Dame in their bowl game.

Pitt HC Paul Chryst will be named to the same position at Wisconsin on Wednesday, according to Benjamin Worgull.

The move was expected as soon as Gary Andersen left for Oregon State. Chryst spent the 2005 to 2011 seasons as Wisconsin's offensive coordinator before leaving to take the head coaching job at Pitt, along with having a couple seasons of NFL experience. Some reports have stated coaches and administrators conflicting, but Chryst is likely comfortable with many around the program.

Michigan State junior QB Connor Cook will return to school for the 2015 season, according to ESPN and the AP.

Cook says he has "unfinished business" at Michigan State that needs to be taken care of next season. We have heard this line before. Cook has a very talented arm and is willing to test coverage downfield. However, hopefully Cook improves how well he handles a muddied pocket and bodies around him. Cook tends to drop his eyes and get frenetic with his movement rather than displaying poise and positive eye level. He is in the running to be the top quarterback in the 2016 NFL Draft.

Former Washington junior CB Marcus Peters will enter the 2015 NFL Draft, according to Rand Getlin.

This conclusion is absolutely expected after Peters was dismissed from Washington a few months back. Details of that event surfaced recently, as one NFL scout revealed Peters attempted to strangle a coach on the sidelines, which led to his first suspension. "Then they let him back on the team and he did it all over again," the scout said. From a talent perspective, Peters might be the best corner in this class. It remains to be seen if he is drafted, however.

USC junior DL Leonard Williams is considered "a lock" to enter the 2015 NFL Draft, according to Rand Getlin.

Getlin notes Williams has been "hedging" on his decision, but it seems to be practically set in stone. It would be a major shock if Williams decided to stay even before this update. Many view Williams a top five lock, but he does have issues getting off the line of scrimmage in a timely manner.

Bo Pelini will be Youngstown State's next HC, according to the Vindicator.

Fox Sports' Bruce Feldman confirmed the news that had been previously rumored. As you know, Pelini was fired from Nebraska a few weeks ago. He is obviously still on Nebraska's payroll, so money is likely not a major factor in his decision making. YSU is an FCS level program but has a long history of prominent coaches who have worked for the football team. Pelini, in fact, was born in Youngstown and attended Ohio State.

Oregon junior DL Arik Armstead is "heavily leaning" towards declaring for the 2015 NFL Draft, according to Rand Getlin.

Getlin says Armstead's father has already begun speaking with agents. The defensive linemen has heard from NFL evaluators who see a potential first-round pick. Can see him go very, very high," one AFC West GM said in a document obtained by Getlin. "Has everything you want out of a [defensive lineman]. Height, length, power, pass rush ability. Needs to show more consistency, but raw potential is very intriguing. First round." Armstead was viewed as a top offensive tackle recruit coming out of high school and has frequently flashed along the defensive line. He dealt with a number of injuries this season.
