Scouts Inc's Todd McShay was told Alabama redshirt sophomore OLB received a "favorable" grade from the NFL Draft Advisory Board.

Hubbard didn't make too big of a splash against Notre Dame, but the large pass rushing outside linebacker offers great length and size with some growing still left to do. We wouldn't be surprised to see Hubbard declare for April's Draft.

Speaking about Miami QB Brad Kaaya, an anonymous NFL scout told the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel: "It sets me back when the coaches are excited he’s leavin’."

It's a surprising sentiment considering that Kaaya started every game he was on campus and left as the Hurricanes’ all-time leading passer. "He’s a mystery guy," another scout said. "Extremely talented but it looks like he’s got dead eyes. He’s like Carson Palmer. I see a guy who holds the ball. Against Virginia Tech he got sacked eight times. Their offensive line wasn’t that bad." Kaaya led this year's QB class in the Wonderlic with a 34. "Hasn’t run the 40," said a third scout. "Said he had a turf toe at pro day. I get the creeps about that kid. He doesn’t extend a lot of plays and he’s not going to hurt you with creativity." NFL Media's Lance Zierlein compares Kaaya to Browns second-year QB Cody Kessler.

NFL Network's Steve Wyche was told by a team source that the 49ers are interested in North Carolina quarterback Mitchell Trubisky.

In addition to that, 49ers CEO Jed York talked about the importance of finding a star quarterback on Wednesday. "You need to get the best players, wherever they are, whatever you need to do, you need to find the best players," York told Wyche. "It's proven that if you don't have a superstar quarterback, you're probably not getting to the Super Bowl and you're probably not winning a Super Bowl." Whether San Francisco's interest in Trubisky is legitimate or a ploy to convince a team like Cleveland to pony up for a trade, we cannot say. We'll find out tomorrow night.

In a statement released Wednesday, Ohio State CB Gareon Conley called the rape allegation against him "untrue, wrongful, and malicious."

"The allegations against me concerning the night of April 8/9 that have recently been reported in multiple media outlets are completely false," Conley said in the statement. "I did not commit a crime and have not been charged with a crime." On Tuesday, it was reported that police are investigating Conley after he was accused of raping a woman on April 9 in a Cleveland hotel. Investigators are trying to schedule an interview with him, according to Cleveland Police Dept. spokeswoman Jennifer Ciaccia. Conley is one of the best defensive prospects in this class. Whether true or not, the allegations against him will almost certainly hurt Conley's draft stock. Conley will not attend the NFL Draft.

Greg Cosell compares Alabama LB Reuben Foster to former San Francisco 49ers linebacker Patrick Willis.

Foster is facing character questions after his incident at the NFL Combine and his failed drug test for a diluted sample, but Cosell loves what he sees on tape. "I won’t guess how teams will view the off-field news about Foster, but I can tell you that Foster is a top-five prospect and without question one of the elite players in this draft," he wrote. Not only does Cosell see Willis in Foster's game, he believes that Foster is a "more naturally athletic mover than Willis." We don't buy talk that Foster could slip into Rd. 2. On Monday, Rotoworld's Josh Norris reported that Foster was given a guarantee by a team in the 20s that they'll take him if he slips.

Draft Analyst's Tony Pauline reports that if the Browns don't take UNC's Mitchell Trubisky in Round 1, Cal QB Davis Webb is "likely to be the target" with the No. 33 selection.

Pauline has been on the Davis Webb beat in recent days, reporting on Tuesday that the Jets, Saints, Chargers and Cardinals have shown the "greatest interest" in Webb. Cleveland has reportedly been working the phones hard over the past few days to move up from No. 12 to take Trubisky. If that plans falls through, Webb may just be Option B.

In a poll of NFL evaluators conducted by the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, Temple LB/EDGE Haason Reddick was named the No. 1 4-3 OLB prospect in the class.

In a similar poll about 3-4 ILBs, however, Reddick finished No. 4 behind Reuben Foster, Jarrad Davis and Zach Cunningham. "There’s a lot of hypothesizing going on with [Reddick]," said one evaluator. "I don’t like to do that with kids. The Senior Bowl put him where he is now in the first round but I never saw that on tape. He’s the real enigma in the draft." Reddick, a former walk-on CB, moved to S early in his career and eventually to DL. "For his size I could see somebody taking him and saying, ‘On run downs we’re going to get you off the ball, and then on third down move you outside and let you rush,’" an AFC evaluator said. "Who’s been able to do that? I can’t think of any." The Senior Bowl was key for Reddick, because many evaluators didn't completely trust his production at Temple. "Those offensive linemen in the American Athletic Conference that Reddick went against are not worth a (expletive)," one personnel man said.

Prior to the Raiders reaching an agreement to acquire RB Marshawn Lynch, Draft Analyst's Tony Pauline was told by a team source that Oakland expected FSU RB Dalvin Cook to be on the board when they came on the clock at No. 24.

Further, that source said the Raiders had "no interest in selecting him" and felt "Joe Mixon [was] the wiser choice." Added Pauine: "The point was not that the Raiders would draft Mixon, but rather that Cook’s injuries and multiple off-field issues are greater risks." We've read this sentiment before, and it speaks to the greater point Pauline is arguing: The analyst now predicts that Cook will fall to Round 2.

NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport and NFL Network's Mike Garafolo report that the Los Angeles Chargers and Tennessee Titans both privately worked out Clemson WR Mike Williams over the past week.

The Chargers, widely expected to focus on defense in Round 1, own the No. 7 pick. The Titans are a cleaner fit for Williams and have been connected to him throughout the process. Tennessee owns two first-round picks (Nos. 5 and 18). Presumably, the organization would like to trade a few slots down and target a receiver where the value lines up better.

Former Louisville redshirt senior CB Shaq Wiggins transferred to Tennessee as a graduate.

Wiggins' winding collegiate road has found its final destination. The 5-foot-10, 175-pounder, a former four-star recruit, began his career at Georgia in 2013 before transferring a year late to Louisville. He was a full-time starter and honorable mention All-ACC pick in 2015, but was limited to eight games due to injury last year. Wiggins is a strong starting collegiate CB when healthy, and Tennessee was certainly in the market are losing starting CB Malik Foreman to graduation and senior CB Emmanuel Moseley to a spring shoulder injury. As a grad, Wiggins in eligible to play immediately.

Alabama S Eddie Jackson had minor surgery to remove a screw from his leg, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Jackson will be 100 percent for offseason activities. The screw was causing discomfort and was a result of Jackson's broken leg last year. Jackson likely will be selected on day three.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Bucs are talking with at least three teams to drop back from pick No. 19 and possibly out of the first round entirely.

The Bucs have been linked to Dalvin Cook frequently, so this news is interesting. Could Cook be selected before the pick? Do the Bucs think they are one of the few teams targeting him int heir portion of the draft? We've suggested Jabrill Peppers as a possible fit as well. The Chiefs might be a team interested in moving up for a quarterback.
