NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah "can't get excited about" LSU S Eric Reid.

"Love size/speed but he misses too many tackles and he's late off the hash too often," Jeremiah tweeted. This assessment comes after a five game study, which is actually very thorough compared to other prospect evaluations. Reid is an athlete, but teams will have to turn tools into a finished product.

FSU sophomore WR Jesus "Bobo" Wilson was arrested and charged on Wednesday with vehicular grand theft in the third degree.

Tomahawk Nation believes this is Wilson's first run in with police, adding grand theft auto in the third degree carries a maximum sentence of five yeas in prison and a $5,000 fine. He played sparingly in 2013, catching three passes for 23 yards and total 89 return yards on eight punts.

Four names have been confirmed as possible picks for Thursday's Supplemental Draft, including SMU RB Traylon Shead.

The other three names include: New Mexico wide receiver Chase Clayton, UNC linebacker Darius Lipford and Virginia-Lynchburg defensive tackle Lakendrick Ross. Shead is a larger than average running back, while Ross is a massive (6'4/336 lbs) defensive tackle. Multiple teams attended each prospect's pro day, but there is a legitimate chance none are selected. If a club does select one of these players, they lose a corresponding draft pick in the 2015 draft.

Texas A&M true freshman Kyler Murray said he feels no pressure from being compared to former Aggies star Johnny Manziel.

"If anything, it's all cool. Johnny is Johnny and he does his thing. We do play similar and I can't deny that," Murray said. "But pressure? No, there's none of that going to A&M. Johnny left some big shoes to fill and they're going to miss him for sure and what he brought to the table." The 5-foot-11, 170-pounder is a five-star recruit currently attending Elite 11 at Nike's headquarters. Murray has lightning fast feet and a whip for an arm, which is why he's been drawing "The Next Johnny Football" label since he was winning two state championships in high school.

TFY Draft Insider's Tony Pauline allotted UCLA redshirt junior QB Brett Hundley a second-round grade.

"Let the outrage commence!" he joked on Twitter. Hundley is perhaps the most polarizing preseason "elite" draft prospect. Some see a future franchise quarterback -- CBS Sports' Rob Rang tossed out a Randall Cunningham comparison last month -- worthy of a top 10 selection. Others, such as Pauline and Rotoworld's Josh Norris, see an intriguing developmental prospect unworthy of such an investment at this time. Hundley could drag the latter group to enlightenment by becoming a Heisman candidate this season, or he could force Rang and others off the bandwagon if he continues to make unforgivable mistakes under duress.

USC redshirt freshman DL Kenny Bigelow will miss the 2014 season with a torn ACL in his right knee.

The injury occurred during voluntary player workouts. Bigelow enrolled early last spring and promptly redshirted his first season. Without seeing him on the field it is tough to say if Bigelow can challenge for a starting spot in the future, but the Trojans will likely lose their top defensive prospect to the 2015 draft in Leonard Williams.

Scouts Inc.'s Kevin Weidl believes Oregon redshirt junior QB Marcus Mariota and USC junior DL Leonard Williams "are in a tier of their own" among Pac-12 prospects.

After these two, Weidl lists Stanford offensive tackle Andrus Peat, Oregon cornerback Ifo Ekpre-Olomu and UCLA redshirt junior quarterback Brett Hundley at No. 3, 4 and 5 respectively. We would agree, as Mariota enters the season as the top quarterback prospect with Williams as a possible top ten selection.

Arizona State senior QB Taylor Kelly and Stanford redshirt junior QB Kevin Hogan received free agent preseason grades from draft insider Tony Pauline.

Pauline's extended thoughts are to follow the next few days. It is a notable projection, since many list Kelly and Hogan among the top five seniors at their position. We, on the other hand, side closer with Pauline regarding Kelly's label compared to those who label him a top two day prospect. Among Pac-12 quarterbacks, Pauline ranks them in this order: Marcus Mariota (first-round), Brett Hundley (second-round), Sean Mannion (fifth-round) and Cody Kessler (sixth- or seventh-round).

Ohio State announces freshman DL Tracy Sprinkle is no longer a member of the football team.

"Sprinkle's status will be re-evaluated after all legal issues are resolved," Marcus Hartman tweeted. The defensive lineman was recently arrested after a bar "brawl" and faces three charges, including cocaine possession. He had already been suspended indefinitely following the initial report.

Auburn redshirt junior WR Sammie Coates tops Fox Sports columnist Bruce Feldman's "Freaks List."

"Asked about Coates' 40-time, Russell said they use hand times (which are often faster than electronic times) and they clocked him eight times, dropped out the highest and lowest and said he was at 4.25. Coates' vertical jump: 44 inches. He benches 405 pounds," Feldman writes. From a production standpoint, Coates posted 902 yards and seven touchdowns on 42 receptions in an offense that stresses their running game and play action passes off of it.

Utah State redshirt junior OLB Kyler Fackrell is expected to declare for the NFL draft after this season, according to draft insider Tony Pauline.

"Word (at) this time is he’s likely to enter the draft," Pauline writes. "I love Fackrell’s physicality as well as his instincts and discipline. He does struggle making plays in reverse, showing stiffness and an inability to backpedal." Fackrell received a second day grade from Pauline. Mel Kiper also brought the outside linebacker's name up during preseason tape work.

Alabama junior RB Kenyan Drake was arrested and charged early Saturday morning on one count of obstructing government operations.

No details of what led to the charge and arrest have been disclosed at this time. Drake's bond was set at $1,000 and AL.com reports he has secured a bondsman. On the field, the running back is the third in a great stable of ball carriers, with Derrick Henry and TJ Yeldon leading the way. Each offers their own set of positive traits from an on-field perspective.
