CSN Philly's Geoff Mosher reports the Philadelphia Eagles will privately workout Utah DT Star Lotulelei.

The Eagles are moving to a 3-4 defense and could be interested in the defensive lineman. They will be looking to add a nose tackle that can anchor and collapse the pocket, which Lotulelei could do for them. He's been compared to Green Bay Packers NT B.J. Raji in the past.

Arizona State senior QB Taylor Kelly is not expected to play against UCLA on September 25 following a foot injury suffered against Colorado, according to ESPN's Joe Schad.

"In a best case scenario maybe ASU’s Taylor Kelly makes it back for USC on" October 4, Schad added. Expect Mike Bercovici to start in Kelly's absence. The Sun Devils have a Saturday off before facing the Bruins on a Thursday. Kelly is an effective college quarterback, but his pro prospects are not good.

Arizona State HC Todd Graham is "very concerned" about the right foot injury Arizona State senior QB Taylor Kelly sustained on Saturday night against Colorado.

Kelly was removed from the game in the third quarter and returned to the sidelines toting crutches. "All is I know is he's out tonight and we'll evaluate it tomorrow," Graham said after the game. "I'm very concerned. It was tough for us tonight, that's part of it. You have to be able to respond." Azcentral.com got a slightly more optimistic quote from the Sun Devils coach, who told the newspaper in his post-game radio interview that Kelly would be "fine" and that ASU would "have a week and half to get [Kelly] ready" before a Thursday matchup versus UCLA on Sept. 25. Kelly completed 13-of-21 passes for 195 yards and rushed for 70 yards and a career-long 50-yard touchdown prior to his injury. Junior Mike Bercovici would start against the Bruins if Kelly can't go.

UCLA redshirt junior QB Brett Hundley reportedly suffered a "slight" hyper extension of his left elbow on Saturday, and he's expected to be able to play next weekend against Arizona State, reports Bruce Feldman of Fox Sports.

"They say he will be fine by the end of next week," Feldman reported on Fox Sports Live. Hundley landed awkwardly on his left side in the first quarter against the Longhorns and immediately trotted off the field. Backup QB Jerry Neuheisel had a star turn as his sub, throwing for 226 yards and two touchdowns. Hundley, however, is expected to relegate Neuheisel to bench work on Thursday, Sept. 25 (UCLA has a bye next week), pending the results of an MRI on Sunday. Hundley is 53-of-77 for 638 yards, three touchdowns and one interception through three games.

Utah State senior QB Chuckie Keeton re-injured his left knee and was forced out of the second half of the school's 36-24 win over Wake Forest.

Keeton tore ligaments in the same knee last year. He was on crutches for a period of time on the sideline but tossed them aside later on. Keeton showed plenty of ability prior to the injury last year, but he has looked sluggish since. Utah State's staff will know more about the injury on Sunday.

Stanford redshirt sophomore RB Barry J. Sanders rusher for 92 yards on nine carries in the school's 35-0 win over Army.

It is a career high in carries and yards for the young Sanders. A large portion of his yards occurred on a single snap, which saw Sanders take a short toss 44 yards after great blocking up front. He lacked long speed to finish the run, however. This could be a start to a larger role for Barry's son.

Washington junior off LOS LB Shaq Thompson scored on an interception and fumble recovery in the school's 44-19 win over Illinois.

The fumble was returned 52 yards and the interception was for 36 yards. Thompson projects very well to the current NFL, since he will likely play a combo linebacker/safety role. Some might struggle to find a "base" position for Thompson, but teams are in nickel/dime nearly or more than 50 percent of the time. Thompson is also being used as a running back this season.
Sep 14 - 11:18 AM

Washington redshirt senior edge rusher Hau'oli Kikaha registered three sacks in the school's 44-19 win over Illinois.

Kikaha posted one sack in each of the school's first two games of the season. Washington has plenty of individual talent on defense, but this was the first time it all came together. Kikaha has transitioned from a three-point stance to rushing sometimes from a stand up role, but his main objective should not be much different: disrupt the backfield. His production is much more symbolic of his skills than teammate Danny Shelton's.
Sep 14 - 10:59 AM

Georgia junior RB Todd Gurley rushed for 131 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries in Saturday's 38-35 loss to South Carolina.

Gurley and his teammates alike started slow, but the star running back got going in the second half to nearly complete a big comeback. He's the consensus No. 1 running back in the class, and a decent bet, barring injury, to become the first running back to go in the first round in the last three years. Gurley has been compared to Hall of Famer Jim Brown, Adrian Peterson, Fred Taylor, Jamal Lewis and Eddie Lacy. The 6-foot-1, 232-pound bruiser possesses 4.43 speed.

UCLA redshirt junior QB Brett Hundley exited Saturday's game against Texas in the first quarter with a left (non-throwing) elbow injury.

The official Twitter account of the UCLA football team announced that Hundley was probable to return to the game, but that was when he was still standing on the sidelines. Hundley took a hit in the first and landed awkwardly on his left shoulder/arm. He asked out of the game. Hundley was seen taking snaps on the sidelines. With his return appearing imminent, Hundley fumbled a few of those practice snaps and was escorted by team trainers into UCLA's locker room. Jerry Neuheisel is in at quarterback for UCLA. Stay tuned for updates.

Miami senior WR Phillip Dorsett finished with 201 receiving yards and two touchdowns on four catches in Saturday's 41-20 win over Arkansas State.

As freshman QB Brad Kaaya develops, it's imperative that Dorsett and TE Clive Walford (three catches, 57 yards, and one touchdown) play like future pros. Mission accomplished today. As for Dorsett, today's performance made him the first FBS player since 1997 to exceed 200 receiving yards on no more than four catches. NFL scouts have timed the 5-foot-9, 185-pounder at 4.35 seconds in the 40-yard dash. He's been clocked as fast as 4.29 seconds in the forty, and also posted a 10.58 second 100-meter dash in May.
Sep 13 - 8:35 PM

Oregon starting senior LT Jake Fisher was seen with crutches and a "large" knee brace following the school's win over Wyoming.

Fisher moved over to left tackle following Tyler Johnstone's injury, but went down early in this contest and was replaced by a walk-on. The injury was to Fisher's left knee, and hopefully these are only precautionary measures.
