Former Pittsburgh sophomore RB Rushel Shell is considering transferring to West Virginia, Ohio State and Kentucky, according to his mother.

Ohio State was heavily invested in Shell's recruitment coming out of high school. Shell chose not to transfer to UCLA earlier this summer and cited his young child as the reason. West Virginia is the closest program to his home in Pennsylvania, and the school recently added former Houston runner Charles Sims. Shell will almost certainly have to sit out the 2013 season.

UCLA redshirt senior edge rusher Owamagbe Odighizuwa received a +9.5 grade from Pro Football Focus for his play against USC.

That is a huge number for a prospect that deserves more recognition. Odighizuwa "notched two sacks, two hits and six hurries in just 35 pass-rushing snaps," per Sam Monson. USC's left tackle, Toa Lobendahn, was abysmal, and Odhigizuwa took advantage.

UCLA redshirt junior QB Brett Hundley was awarded a -2.4 grade from Pro Football Focus for his performance against USC.

Many will frown upon this assessment, since Hundley completed 22 of 31 attempts for 326 yards, three touchdowns and one interception in the game. We noted how easy so many throws were and that many targets were to screen passes or run after catch situations. "...in all honesty, Hundley didn’t have to do a whole lot to get some of the biggest gains, owing far more to his receivers or AWOL coverage from USC," Sam Monson writes.

Auburn beat writer Brandon Marcello cites a source close to junior Duke Williams who says the receiver is "ready" to play.

As we blurbed yesterday, Auburn coaches have yet to declare Williams healthy to the media, but remain hopeful he will play. Williams sprained his MCL earlier this month. He is Auburn's top slot target, and the Tigers face Alabama this weekend.

Clemson freshman QB Deshaun Watson will practice on Monday after spraining his MCL nine days ago.

The injury occurred just a few weeks after spraining his LCL. Watson will wear a non-contact jersey, but that is common for all quarterbacks during practice. ""He can't be a sitting duck back there; he's got to be able to move and scramble and run. So we'll evaluate that and see where he is," head coach Dabo Swinney said. Senior Cole Stoudt would start in Watson's place if the freshman can't go.

Texas A&M true freshman DE Myles Garrett is expected to play against LSU on Thanksgiving despite sitting out the game against Missouri with an unspecified injury.

Garrett is the school's bets defensive player in just his first season, breaking the SEC record in sacks for a freshman and producing plenty of disruption. He will face off against La'El Collins, one of the top tackle prospects in this class.

Oklahoma freshman RB Samaje Perine was named the Walter Camp Football Foundation’s Offensive Player of the Week.

Wonder how long that voting took. Perine rushed for 427 yards and five touchdowns on 34 carries against Kansas, snapping Melvin Gordon III's FBS record, set one week before. Unbelievably, Perine came off the bench to begin his record-setting day. The Jayhawks wish he hadn't.

Arizona State junior RB D.J. Foster demonstrated the "versatile skill set that has led scouts to compare him to current New England Patriots back Shane Vereen" against Washington State, according to CBS Sports' Rob Rang.

The Sun Devils relied on Foster to provide the offensive fireworks against Washington State with projected first-round wide receiver Jaelen Strong out due to a concussion. The 5-foot-11, 203-pound Foster spent large portions of the game unable to find room to run, but Wazzu wasn't able to deny him completely. Foster finished with 96 rushing yards and three touchdowns, as well as 59 yards receiving.

Colorado State senior RB Dee Hart matched a school record with six touchdowns in Saturday's win over New Mexico.

Five came on the ground, and one came through the air. Hart finished with a career-high 230 rushing yards on 20 carries, adding 42 yards as a receiver. Hart, a former Alabama player and a one-time former No. 1 all-purpose back by Rivals.com, has 1,139 rushing yards and 16 rushing scores (18 total) on the season.

Auburn junior WR Duke Williams (sprained MCL) is expected to return to action for Saturday's Iron Bowl matchup against Alabama.

"We are hoping he will be back this week," head coach Gus Malzahn said. "I am not ready to make that call yet, but we are hopeful." Williams suffered the sprained MCL in his right knee against Texas A&M several weeks ago. Duke leads the team with 36 catches for 609 yards and five touchdowns. The offense has cratered in his absence.

FSU redshirt sophomore QB Jameis Winston said there was nothing malicious about his contact with an official in the third quarter of Saturday's win against Boston College.

Midway through that period, with the score tied 17-17, an official stood between Winston and C Cam Erving to prevent the Seminoles from snapping because the defense hadn't been given ample time to make substitutions. Winston tried to move the official out of the way. "He was just holding me because he said we had a substitution," Winston said of the official. "It was actually a fast-tempo play, so I was trying to get up under there and let it ride." Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher echoed the sentiment, indicating that the Seminoles had sent in an RB, unbeknownst to his signal-caller.

UCLA redshirt junior QB Brett Hundley completed 22 of 31 attempts for 326 yards, three touchdowns and one interception in the school's 38-20 win over USC.

He added another rushing touchdown. The box score looks outstanding, but anyone who watched the game could see it was fabricated from a passing standpoint thanks to broken coverages. We saw Hundley make one or two positive plays, in terms of sticking to the pocket and looking downfield. However, a respectable touchdown throw was made to a wide open receiver in the middle of the field with zero pressure up front and a large portion of the passing yards were created after the catch by receivers. All in all, this game showed us nothing we do not already know.
