Georgia senior QB Aaron Murray completed 17 of 23 attempts for 309 yards and four touchdowns against South Carolina.

Murray was given a clean pocket early in this contest, since few opposing pass rusher consistently found their way into the Bulldogs' backfield outside of Jadeveon Clowney. In the second half, however, Murray was forced to make difficult throws when moving off his spot and outside the pocket. He was even let down by a few drops, which makes Murray's day even more impressive.

North Texas has signed HC Seth Littrell to a new five-year contract.

Littrell, who had been hired as Mean Green head coach in December 2015, initially received a five-year contract set to run through 2020. Per the Associated Press, the contract is in the monetary neighborhood of $5 million. In a statement, Littrell said, "It means a lot to me to move forward with this new deal and continue to work hard with my staff to transform this into the championship-caliber program that our tremendous university, fans and alumni deserve."

Syracuse redshirt junior S Antwan Cordy was granted a medical redshirt by the NCAA.

The 5-foot-8, 175-pound Cordy is the Orange's top returning defensive back. Cordy suffered a season-ending forearm injury in the loss to Louisville last season. He now has two years left of eligibility. Back in 2015, Cordy set a new program record for tackles for loss by a defensive back with 12.

Georgia junior DT Trenton Thompson has withdrawn from school for the spring semester while dealing with a "significant" medical issue.

The medical issue led to Thompson being taken by police to an Athens hospital. Georgia said in a statement that Thompson had "an adverse reaction to medications prescribed specifically for his medical condition." Thompson was, according to the Associated Press, "behaving incoherently, and appeared to be experiencing some type of unknown medical problem." The undisclosed medical issue led him to be hospitalized recently for an extended stay. Thompson led the team with 9.5 TFL last year.

North Carolina State moved junior WR Nyheim Hines to RB.

This was an expected move with 1,000-yard rusher Matt Dayes out the door. There's plenty of touches for Hines to soak up. Dayes led the Wolfpack with 281 touches last year ago. Nobody else on the team had 100. With Reggie Gallaspy and Johnny Frasier being limited or held out of spring practices, Hines will receive the bulk of the RB reps. The speedy weapon posted a 43-525-0 line last year as primarily a receiver.

Eagles QB Carson Wentz worked out with Cal WR Chad Hansen and Eastern Washington WR Cooper Kupp.

Eagles fans rejoice. The team will add multiple receivers this offseason, likely in free agency and via the draft. Hansen is still growing into his game, has great after catch speed and projects to the outside. Kupp dominated the slot in college and will fit that same role in the NFL. Both are day two types.

Pitt RB James Conner's received a recent clean lymphoma scan, according to Adam Schefter.

This is fantastic news. Conner played in 2016 after undergoing chemotherapy, amassing 216 carries for 1,060 yards rushing and 16 touchdowns. Conner is unlikely to go before day three, but we can't wait to see him in Indianapolis. His aggression and balance for a big back is impressive.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport suggested Cal's Davis Webb is considered a top 5 QB in the draft.

Webb will go through a near complete workout at the NFL Combine. Webb seems to be the third day quarterback "climbing" boards early in the process. There is one everyday. Webb looked solid in comparison to other Senior Bow quarterbacks, but that isn't a strong compliment. One executive recently told Daniel Jeremiah that Webb will be the top quarterback in the 2017 NFL Draft. Webb transferred to Cal after losing out to Pat Mahomes at Texas Tech.

UCLA edge rusher Takk McKinley will have surgery to repair a torn labrum and broken glenoid in his shoulder following the NFL Combine.

McKinley will attempt a near complete workout at the Combine, but the healing process following the surgery is 5-6 months, which does not give a lot of leeway for training camp or the start of the 2017 season. McKinley was not on the final Senior Bowl roster due to the injury. Every team has been notified of the injury, and Takk might even try the bench press in Indy. Many view Takk as a top 20 talent.

ESPN's Michael Rothstein suggests the Lions might "overhaul" the TE position this offseason.

"This is an area Detroit could try to make a big splash," Rothstein writes. Rotoworld's Josh Norris and Eric Galko of Optimum Scouting have brought up the possibility of the Lions drafting a tight end in round one since the Senior Bowl. The team has yet to decide on Eric Ebron's fifth-year option, but no matter what a slot target to fill Anquan Boldin's role, with possible potential to play inline, is an important part of the offense.

Iowa State indefinitely suspended redshirt sophomore CB Mike Johnson following his arrest on assault charges Thursday.

Johnson was arrested on Thursday and charged with domestic assault strangulation with injury. According to the filed complaint, the unfortunate incident had innocuous beginnings, as Johnson allegedly was arguing with his girlfriend regarding social media posts and the music being played on the pairs' cell phones. Matters escalated when each party attempted to grab the others' phone. Johnson's girlfriend told the Iowa State police that Johnson then put both hands around her neck. Johnson said that she was attempting to damage both his laptop and phone, leading to the physical confrontation. In a statement, Cyclones HC Matt Campbell said that the 5-foot-11, 182-pounder has been indefinitely suspended from all team activities (including practice) until more information is available. Johnson was a key piece in the Iowa State secondary last season, logging 44 tackles.

An NFL executive who spoke with NFL Media's Daniel Jeremiah said that Texas Tech QB Pat Mahomes will "check every box in Indy [at the NFL Scouting Combine]."

The executive said that "everybody will be talking about him after the [C]ombine." Earlier on Thursday, Ian Rapoport reported that Mahomes (as well as Davis Webb) will be taking part in throwing drills and the like in Indianapolis. The 6-foot-3, 230-pound Mahomes is one of the more intriguing quarterback prospects in the 2017 pool. He already has the size and the arm chops for the NFL. Don't be surprised if he sneaks into the back half of the first round this spring.
