Florida freshman WR Demarcus Robinson will not play against Tennessee on Saturday due to a violation of team rules.

We are still waiting for Robinson's breakout game after coaches and teammates praised his skills during practice. No details were given regarding the suspension, but Robinson has barely made an impact during his first few games on the field for the Gators.

In NFL.com analyst Daniel Jeremiah's straw poll, five-of-five queried executives chose Alabama senior TE O.J. Howard over Michigan's Jake Butt.

"Howard is the better prospect," the first said. "He's faster and a bigger playmaker. However, Butt is a better blocker and he catches the ball more consistently." Another comped Butt to Jason Witten but sided with Howard anyway. A third chose Howard because he "gives your offense more mismatch opportunities because of his athleticism." The fourth said Howard is "a better blocker and he plays much faster" and the fifth said he "would take a chance on the skill set of Howard over the steadiness of Butt."

Speaking on the Paul Finebaum Show on Friday, Georgia HC Kirby Smart called junior RB Nick Chubb (ankle) a game-time decision for Saturday's showdown with Tennessee.

Conflicting reports on Chubb's availability surfaced on Friday. His father, Henry Chubb, said that the medical recommendation was "a couple weeks" of rehab, which would rule him out for Saturday's contest. Smart offered a potentially more optimistic view on the Paul Finebaum Show, saying, "Nick has improved in the last probably 48 hours immensely. We’re going to go out tomorrow in warmups, see how he does and if the medical staff clears him, he is going to play." Fantasy owners are going to have to keep a close eye on this one before kickoff. Should Chubb be unable to play, the starting load would fall to Sony Michel, with Brian Herrien and Elijah Holyfield seeing additional bumps in playing time as well.

Ohio State redshirt sophomore G Demetrius Knox is expected to miss upwards of eight weeks after breaking his foot in practice.

Knox underwent surgery on Friday. This should be considered a depth blow for the Buckeyes, rather than an outright crippling injury. The 6-foot-4, 308-pounder had been listed as a backup to Billy Price prior to being sidelined.

College Football 24/7 reports that 12 NFL teams are credentialed to attend Stanford at Washington on Friday.

And they would be the Pittsburgh Steelers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Seattle Seahawks, Minnesota Vikings, Chicago Bears, Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers, New Orleans Saints, Baltimore Ravens, Detroit Lions, Philadelphia Eagles and San Diego Chargers. Which prospects drew the crowd? Stanford offers up a handful headed by RB Christian McCaffrey, LB Peter Kalambayi and DE Solomon Thomas. Washington, meanwhile, counters with WR John Ross III, CB Sidney Jones and DB Budda Baker. McCaffrey, averaging 185 total yards per game, will go-to-toe with one of the nation's three-most talented defenses. Tell your girlfriend you're busy tonight.

Michigan HC Jim Harbaugh indicated that freshman RB Kareem Walker will likely redshirt this year.

Walker has struggled with getting has academics house in order since arriving on campus. "I think, probably, at this point he would redshirt this year," Harbaugh said. "The main focus is (on his schoolwork). To see him excited about class, and he's doing well, we'll see how it goes." The 6-foot-1, 207-pounder Walker was a top-50 overall recruit and the No. 1-ranked running back in the past cycle who chose the Wolverines over Alabama, Florida State and Auburn, among others.

Kent State redshirt freshman QB Mylik Mitchell will miss the remainder of the 2016 season due to a right wrist injury.

This according to The Record-Courier's Allen Moff. While the Golden Flashes have yet to confirm that Mitchell has been lost for the season, HC Paul Haynes brought up the possibility of a broken right wrist earlier in the practice week. Prior to suffering the injury against Alabama this weekend, the 6-foot-3, 194-pounder had passed for 363 yards with a 5/1 TD/INT ratio. To make matters worse, freshman gunslinger Justin Agner -- who started the opener against Penn State -- remains sidelined by an undisclosed injury. With Mitchell and Agner out injured, redshirt sophomore George Bollas will handle starting duties for the foreseeable future. There is no fantasy intrigue here.

LSU junior RB Leonard Fournette (ankle) did not practice this week.

Fournette is being labeled as "questionable to doubtful" by interim HC Ed Orgeron. The 6-foot-1, 230-pounder has been nursing an ankle injury since mid-August. In three games this season, he has rushed for 386 yards and two touchdowns. If Fournette can't roll, elite backup back Derrius Guice will handle the bulk of the carries against Missouri on Saturday.

Alabama HC Nick Saban said that he was "hopeful" that sophomore RB Damien Harris (ankle) will be able to play against Kentucky on Saturday.

While Saban hasn't officially offered a public green light for Harris, all signs this week are pointing toward the 5-foot-11, 214-pound sophomore playing on Saturday. He injured his ankle early in last weekend's win over Kent State.

Former Bears director of college scouting, Greg Gabriel, indicated that Alabama redshirt freshman QB Blake Barnett's decision to transfer could draw questions from NFL teams.

"If [Barnett] becomes a prospect, then it becomes a red flag that needs to be answered," Gabriel said. "To me it's a red flag on his football character and his personal character. They are two separate things." The 6-foot-5, 211-pound former five-star decided to transfer out this week. He initially started the opener against USC before giving way to an infinitely more effective Jalen Hurts. While Gabriel was brutal in his assessment of the transfer, it was the only real logical move. Barnett isn't going to be viewed as a pro prospect at all if he can't secure a starting job.

Florida State sophomore DE Josh Sweat (knee) will be available for Saturday's showdown with North Carolina.

Sweat underwent surgery to repair a minor meniscus tear in his left knee on September 21. Despite the recency of that procedure, the 6-foot-5, 250-pound sophomore is already ready to jump back to the football field. "[He] practiced last two days and [is] doing well. Very minimal [swelling], and he’s healing really well," said HC Jimbo Fisher. It wouldn't be a surprise if Sweat was used on a relatively limited basis against the Tar Heels on Saturday, as even with his quick recovery, there is no reason for the Seminoles to push their luck here.

In a statement, Alabama HC Nick Saban indicated that the team has yet to decide on disciplinary action for senior edge rusher Tim Williams following his Thursday arrest.

Williams is being charged with carrying a pistol without a permit, a misdemeanor. He was arrested on Thursday morning after an officer smelled marijuana coming from his vehicle. The firearm was discovered under Williams' seat during the subsequent search. "This kind of behavior is not condoned in our program. We are currently in the process of reviewing all of the information," said Saban. "Once we have a complete understanding of the situation, we will determine what we need to do in terms of the appropriate discipline." Even at this late juncture, it unknown whether the 6-foot-4, 237-pound stud will be able to play against Kentucky on Saturday.
