Stanford redshirt sophomore WR Devon Cajuste is "helping fill the void" left by departed TE Zach Ertz, according to Scouts Inc.'s Kevin Weidl.

Weidl says Cajuste is producing from the slot and when isolated on the outside. Ertz was used from multiple alignments last season, squaring off against linebackers, safeties and corners. We hope Cajuste is a better mover, but Ertz's versatility landed him in the second-round. Cajuste has caught 10 passes for 244 yards and three touchdowns this season.

Towson RB Terrance West is visiting the Seahawks on Wednesday, according to NFL.com's Gil Brandt.

Per Brandt and other reports, West visited the Ravens on Monday and the Vikings on Tuesday. He also previously worked out for the Cardinals and had an official visit with the Titans. There is a chance that West will be the first non-FBS player off the board, but he'll battle Jimmy Garoppolo, Billy Turner and Pierre Desir for that title.

The Cowboys used one of their 30 visits to host Florida DT Dominique Easley, according to Bryan Broaddus.

Per Broaddus, Easley's medical recheck is scheduled to take place in late April, but the Cowboys got a jump on his development thanks to the visit. We still consider Easley a top 10 talent due to his disruptive ability from the interior. Teams could see him as a one or three technique. Easley is recovering from a second torn ACL, one in each knee.

The Ravens, Falcons, Patriots, Colts, Browns and Jets are showing the most interest in Missouri edge rusher Michael Sam, according to the Baltimore Sun's Aaron Wilson.

Sam will likely be a fifth- to seventh-round selection. He produced at a high rate last season, but Sam is a bit of a one trick pony, utilizing an edge rip move to beat heavy footed offensive tackles. He fails to use his hands to jolt opponents to the chest or work inside.

Oregon State edge rusher Scott Crichton visited the Broncos on Wednesday.

Crichton previously visited the Cowboys on Tuesday and is headed to the Chargers on Thursday. Each team could use edge rushing helps, and Crichton offers it in the form of a straight-line rusher with power at the point of attack. He lacks bend but has a great motor.

Panthers WR coach Ricky Proehl is visiting FSU on Wednesday.

Proehl will obviously be taking a look at Kelvin Benjamin, but could also be checking out Kenny Shaw. Scrolling through Proehl's twitter feed, he has recently taken visits to Coastal Carolina, Indiana, Vanderbilt, Wyoming, Fresno State, USC and Oregon State.

The Cowboys are hosting Notre Dame OL Zack Martin for a visit on Wednesday, according to Jeff Cavanaugh.

Martin would likely play guard early in his career, with Tyron Smith cemented at left tackle and Doug Free on the roster in 2014. However, he could move to the right side later down the road. We think Martin fits best on the inside, thanks to his powerful hands and comfort in tight spaces. His wide base allowed quick edge rushers to win on counter moves.

Fresno State QB Derek Carr is visiting the Bucs on Wednesday, according to beat writer Jenna Laine.

The Bucs signed Josh McCown to be the starter in 2014, but the new decision makers have shown zero attachment to Mike Glennon. Carr is an unlikely option at No. 7, but a team could trade back into the first-round to lock up that fifth year contract option.

Alabama QB AJ McCarron is conducting a private workout for the Browns on Wednesday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

McCarron is nothing more than a third-round pick, no matter how much you value his game. The Alabama quarterback is a limited passer, but teams might conclude he could help a team win if supported by a strong running game and tough defense. Teams will try to mimic the Seahawks' approach, but they'll need plenty of luck if McCarron is the choice at quarterback.

Fresno State QB Derek Carr confidently called himself the draft's best QB, and told the "NFL AM" on the NFL Network that the tape backs up the claim.

On the show, Carr said he was "absolutely" the best quarterback in the draft, and added: "We can turn the tape on and watch it." Certainly nobody can match the statistics accumulated on that celluloid, as Carr threw for a ridiculous 5,083 yards and 50 TDs in 2013. He also dropped an interesting tidbit when asked about the three QB prospects supposedly above him in the pecking order -- UCF's Blake Bortles, Louisville's Teddy Bridgewater and Texas A&M's Johnny Manziel -- claiming he's heard that he'll go above at least one of them. "From what I've heard ... it'll work out that way," Carr said.

Colorado State C Weston Richburg has been put through "many private workouts" by the Patriots, according to ESPN's Mike Reiss.

Reiss believes Richburg's brains ("He made the line calls and has good football intelligence"), versatility (he played C, G and T in college), fit ("He appears to fit best in a zone-blocking scheme, which is what the Patriots primarily utilize") and leadership (two-time captain) will appeal to New England. Ryan Wendell got a two-year deal in March, so it's not clear if the Pats would invest the Day 2 pick that would be required to secure Richburg.

Cleveland will conduct a private workout with Texas A&M QB Johnny Manziel in College Station this weekend, reports NFL Media senior analyst Gil Brandt.

Brandt also passes along that Manziel will visit the Browns for his official pre-draft visit next week. Cleveland owns the No. 4 pick, and there seems to be a better than 50-50 chance that Manziel will be available at that slot. Of course, Cleveland also owns the Colts' first-round pick and might choose to wait to see if either Louisville's Teddy Bridgewater or Fresno State's Derek Carr fall to them. They could also simply ignore the position until Day 2. The QB situation in this year's draft is incredibly fluid, and the Browns figure to be major players in the drama next month.
