UCLA redshirt sophomore LT Torian White was arrested Sunday on suspicion of sexual assault and has been indefinitely suspended.

White was arrested by campus police. The redshirt sophomore has acted as the team's starting left tackle the last two seasons but has missed time this year due to injury. "We are aware of the situation involving Torian White, and we take these accusations very seriously," head coach Jim Mora said.

Morgantown police are serving a warrant on Wednesday charging suspended WVU sophomore CB Daryl Worley with battery, according to Metro News' Hoppy Kercehval.

Kercheval explains that Worley is accused of "grabbing a female around the neck and pushing her down" during an incident at Lux bar. The victim was not seriously hurt. Worley was indefinitely suspended from the team earlier this week. West Virginia hosts Oklahoma this week.

UCLA redshirt junior QB Brett Hundley arrived at practice on Wednesday in full pads and was not wearing a brace on his left arm.

Hundley suffered a "slight" hyper extension during last week's game against Texas and was forced out of the second half. In the following days, reports surfaced that Hundley would play in the school's next game against Arizona State, but that is not until after the bye week. It is a good sign that Hundley is already practicing in full pads.

Trinity Valley Community College head coach Brad Smiley has been told by ex-TCU and current TVCC edge rusher Devonte Fields that he intends to play at the Division I level again.

"Everything he has said to me and everything his family has said to me is the plan is for him to get his (Associate's Degree) and to play Division I again," Smiley told Mac Engel. "He is excited about going through that process and playing Division I again. He has not said anything about coming out to play in the NFL." Fields was a tremendous player as a true freshman, but injuries and off-field issues have since stunted his development. He is eligible for the 2015, and a change of heart is not out of the question.

FSU redshirt sophomore QB Jameis Winston has been suspended for the first half of Saturday's game against Clemson.

This is on the heels of Winston shouting expletives in the school's Student Union, which an FSU statement called "offensive and vulgar." After his previous off-field incidents, some much more minor than others, Winston admitted he needed to improve his self awareness. Redshirt sophomore Sean Maguirewas named the No. 2 quarterback during summer work. Redshirt freshman John Franklin III could see some snaps as well, but he has been practicing with wide receivers.

Arizona State senior QB Taylor Kelly has been ruled out against UCLA with a foot injury.

Senior Mike Bercovici will start in his place. Kelly was injured against Colorado, and reports immediately surfaced stating he would likely miss this game. UCLA faced quarterback injuries of their own in their last contest, but Brett Hundley is expected to play in this game.

Oklahoma junior OLB Eric Striker is one of the top defenders in the nation, according to Smart Football's Chris Brown.

"I don't know his pro grade but he's incredibly disruptive," Brown tweeted, adding Oklahoma's change from a 4-3 to a 3-4/3-3-5 prior to 2013 did not receive enough acclaim. Oklahoma has stumbled down the stretch multiple times under Bob Stoops, but last year's defensive change could alter their fate this season.

The MMQB's Greg A. Bedard believes Oregon redshirt junior QB Marcus Mariota is a "far more advanced passer" than Colin Kaepernick.

Bedard introduces the Kaepernick analogy for Mariota, stating it is the best comparison since (simply put) the two could make similar plays with their feet. "But that’s where the comparison should end," Bedard concluded, adding that Mariota has terrific ball placement. Bedard notes Mariota might fall into the same category as Teddy Bridgewater, who was passed over by at least one team because they did not see "enough of a commanding persona... That’s the landscape Mariota will be wading into." We believe if a team passes over a quarterback prospect for a lesser talent just because the former lacks a fiery personality, they are making a mistake.

Oregon starting senior LT Jake Fisher's knee injury "isn't considered season-ending," reports CBS Sports' Dane Brugler.

He suffered a sprained left knee on the opening drive in Saturday's win over Wyoming. "According to a source, he will be sidelined less than a month, which is good news for Oregon offensive coordinator Scott Frost, who said that he hoped to get Fisher back 'pretty soon,'" Brugler wrote. "Fisher is expected to miss this weekend's game at Washington State, but the coaching staff is hopeful he will be back in the starting lineup for Arizona (October 2) or at UCLA (October 11). He is currently ranked as the No. 8 senior offensive tackle prospect for the 2015 NFL Draft and a possible top-100 pick."

Massachusetts coach Mark Whipple said Penn State sophomore QB Christian Hackenberg will be the No. 1 overall pick when he enters the draft.

"He's going to be the first player picked. If he could come out this year, he'd be the first player picked," Whipple said, adding that Hackenberg "just can make every throw. ... He's just got it all." Whipple was the Steelers' QB coach during Ben Roethlisberger's first three seasons in the league, and he has also been an offensive assistant with the Eagles and Browns (2011-12). Whipple's UMass squad travels to Penn State on Saturday. We'd accuse him of buttering Hackenberg up, but he's not the only one saying these things. A veteran AFC scout said last week that Hackenberg is "the top QB in college football," and wrote that he is "generating the most buzz with NFL scouts" amongst quarterbacks.

Ohio State is "preparing to move forward" as if they won't get Ohio State junior DE Noah Spence back for the remainder of the season, reports CBS Sports' Dane Brugler.

Spence, who was set to return over the weekend from suspension, failed a second drug test. He first failed a drug test for ecstasy back in January. "We are hopeful that Noah can get healthy and, at some point, resume his career with the Buckeyes," Spence's parents said in a statement to the Columbus Dispatch. "We are uncertain how long he will be ineligible, but we will work with Ohio State and the Big Ten until we have a final resolution." The Big Ten handbook states that a student athlete who fails a second drug test "shall be declared permanently ineligible for all further intercollegiate competition in all sports."

CBS Sports' Dane Brugler reports that Oregon redshirt junior QB Marcus Mariota and junior DE Arik Armstead will both enter the draft after the season.

Both prospects purchased large disability insurance policies prior to the season, which the school ultimately covered. Mariota was always ticketed for the 2015 draft, so we'll instead focus on Armstead. The 6-foot-8, 280-pounder has basketball athleticism and light feet, meaning the mansion of his athletic potential doesn't have an easily perceivable ceiling. We're concerned, however, that he played so poorly as a true sophomore, once called basketball his "first love," and has been eying the 2015 draft for some time now. There are questions about Armstead that only his production can answer. "Armstead isn't as well-known nationally, but he leads the Ducks with 4.0 tackles for loss so far in 2014 and has the gifted skill-set that makes him a projected first round pick," Brugler wrote.
