Missouri RB Henry Josey said his knee checked out during medical examinations at the NFL Combine.

Josey returned from a catastrophic knee injury last season and led the Tigers with 1,166 yards rushing and 16 touchdowns. "The doctors were so excited about how stable my knee was and how it looked," he said. "They were asking me who my doctor was and who trained me. I knew that God wouldn't bring me this far to leave me. They all wanted to know, 'How did you do that?'" Josey clocked the third-fastest forty time amongst running backs in Indy with a 4.43 showing. The 5-foot-8, 194-pound runner is hoping to hear his name called on the draft's third day.
Mar 3 - 8:41 PM reports LSU redshirt junior CB Jalen Collins will enter the 2015 NFL draft.

According to the site, Collins "received a favorable draft grade from the NFL Advisory Committee." The 6-foot-2, 205-pound Collins possesses great height, and is both a rangy and skilled cornerback. "LSU coaches are telling scouts Collins was one of the few defensive backs who was able to lockdown Odell Beckham Jr in practice last season," TFY Draft Insider's Tony Pauline recently wrote. "It also seems they are not too concerned about losing him to the NFL. The feeling in the program is Collins may have trouble holding down a starting spot in 2015 as LSU coaches are stoked over the developing star talent at the cornerback position." Collins collected one interception and nine pass breakups in 2014.

Arizona State redshirt junior WR Jaelen Strong will enter the 2015 NFL Draft.

The decision was an expected one. Strong is a former JUCO recruit who has been highly productive during his two seasons with the Sun Devils. Some consider Strong a first-round caliber talent and cite his high pointing ability as his top trait. We will be interested to see how Strong tests at the Combine. Arizona State faces Duke in their bowl game.

Former Oklahoma and current Cardinals S Tony Jefferson took to Twitter to advise college prospects to not declare for the draft unless they are a "top pick."

"Stay stay stay in school. I know the money looks good but you get a better evaluation if you stay," Jefferson tweeted. The safety left Oklahoma one year early, and despite going undrafted he has produced a solid NFL career. Some reports state this year's non-senior number of declarations will "dwarf" last year's record.

Alabama junior S Landon Collins is considered a "lock" to declare for the NFL draft, according to Yahoo Sports' Rand Getlin.

"The Collins camp has conducted preliminary meetings with agents in an effort to vet potential representatives," Getlin tweeted. Collins is considered by many to be the top defensive back prospect in this class and has experience from both single high safety and in the box looks. With demand at the position so high and supply so low, Collins has a chance to be a top 10 selection.

Texas A&M is courting LSU DC John Chavis in the hopes of adding him in the same role, according to Ross Dellenger.

"Chavis’ intentions are not clear. LSU has offered Chavis a new contract with an extension, but it has not been signed, sources said," writes Dellenger. Texas A&M is looking for an upgrade on defense after struggling on that side of the ball for two straight seasons, albeit an improvement in 2014. The Aggies were rumored to be interested in Will Muschamp.

Notre Dame HC Brian Kelly told reporters freshman WR Justin Brent is in his doghouse.

"Brent's an interesting kid," Kelly began, adding the receiver "gets distracted easily." If you would like details regarding what (or who) is distracting Brent, a simple google search will help. We suggest not doing so at work, however. Brent was considered a top 100 recruit by multiple services but has not cracked ND's receiver rotation in his first season.

Former Clemson QB Chad Kelly, who recently agreed to join Ole Miss next season after spending time at the JUCO level, was arrested for his involvement in a "melee."

Kelly's big time college football career might come to a halt before it even begins. "According to the Buffalo News, Kelly faces seven charges, all second- or third-degree and of the misdemeanor or violation types," writes Aaron Brenner. Other details are available in the link. Kelly was dismissed from the Clemson football team last spring after visibly arguing with coaches during offseason activities, likely the final straw. Chad is the nephew of Jim Kelly.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Stanford head coach David Shaw will not entertain NFL offers.

Welcome to your newest holiday tradition, the time of year when Shaw preemptively shoots down NFL rumors. "Despite being viewed as perhaps the top coaching candidate in the college ranks, Shaw has told people he plans to remain at Stanford, where he loves working with student-athletes and wants to continue coaching, according to sources," Schefter wrote. "Shaw is highly regarded in NFL circles, where he is viewed as one of the most coveted candidates in the country due to his credentials." Despite a down year in 2014, Shaw is 41-12 in four seasons at Stanford.

Boise State redshirt junior RB Jay Ajayi announced on Sunday that he will declare for the 2015 NFL Draft.

The decision reportedly was made before Ajayi heard back from the NFL College Advisory Board, which isn't a big surprise, as he'd no doubt decided to bolt at some point during the season. Ajayi heads into the Fiesta Bowl against Arizona with 1,689 rushing yards and 25 rushing touchdowns, as well as 45 receptions for 536 yards and four scores. It's been reported that some scouts like Ajayi more than former Broncos' runner Doug Martin. We think the newest BSU star runner will hear his name called at some point on Day 2.

FSU redshirt sophomore Jameis Winston's attorney, David Cornwell, tweeted the QB has been cleared of charges in his conduct hearing.

"In sum, the preponderance of the evidence has not shown that you are responsible for ANY of the charged violations of the Code," the tweet read. Winston's hearing took place a few weeks ago with the conclusion expected to be announced around this time, so the timeline checks out. FSU will play Oregon on Jan. 1 in the first round of the CFB Playoff, and everything points to Jameis starting that game.

The Redskins win Saturday "may have clinched" the Titans and Bucs as the two staffs coaching the 2015 Senior Bowl, per Patrick Woo.

Both teams will be looking at quarterbacks during the draft process, but we highly doubt they will find one at the Senior Bowl unless Marcus Mariota attends the event. However, there is still plenty of benefit in coaching the event and putting prospects on your roster through practices.
