Virginia T Morgan Moses is now Scouts Inc. draft analyst Todd McShay's No. 14 overall prospect.

Moses easily jumped the most spots, as he was previously listed at No. 32 overall. "Moses is an effective run-blocker, with good quickness and finishing ability and only really needing to work on his balance, but where he really stands out is as a pass protector." Moses faced some very good rushers in Vic Beasley, Jeremiah Attaochu and Kyle Van Noy, but fared quite well against each opponent.

Oregon redshirt junior QB Marcus Mariota completed 21 of 25 attempts for 329 yards and five interceptions in the school's 38-31 win over Washington State.

Mariota was sacked on seven occasions, only one of which appeared to take longer than 2.5 seconds. Oregon's make shift offensive line is a big issue, but Mariota is showing he has the talent to overcome it. The quarterback also rushed for 58 yards. Oregon faces Arizona after an off weekend.

Indiana junior RB Tevin Coleman rushed for 132 yards and a score on 19 carries in a 31-27 upset win over Missouri on Saturday.

The 6-foot-1, 205-pound Coleman averaged 7.3 yards per carry last season, and he's making a mockery of even that amazing number so far. He's up to 569 yards and six touchdowns on 66 carries (8.6 YPC) during Indiana's 2-1 start. NFL Media analyst Bucky Brooks says that Coleman's "electric running skills" makes the Hoosiers' offense "a nightmare to defend." Indiana's defense might not stop anyone this year, but the offense can score with almost anyone.

Penn State sophomore QB Christian Hackenberg completed 12-of-23 attempts for 179 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions in a 48-7 blowout win over UMass on Saturday.

This was the first game in the Nittany Lions' 4-0 start that Hackenberg hasn't exceeded 300 yards passing. Penn State, of course, didn't ask Hackenberg to do much in the easy win. During the week leading up to the game, Minutemen coach Mark Whipple said Hackenberg would be the No. 1 overall pick when he enters the draft: "He's going to be the first player picked. If he could come out this year, he'd be the first player picked," Whipple said.

Alabama redshirt senior QB Blake Sims completed 23-of-33 passes for 445 yards, four touchdowns and an interception in Saturday's win against Florida.

The 6-foot, 208-pounder left the game briefly in the third quarter due to a shoulder injury -- he was replaced by Jake Coker -- but he returned to continue carving up the Gators. After the game, Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban said his signal-caller bruised his shoulder. Luckily, Alabama has a bye next week. This game would have been far uglier for Florida, but the Crimson Tide committed 11 penalties for 80 yards, and had four turnovers that turned into all 21 UF points.
Sep 20 - 7:58 PM

Alabama junior WR Amari Cooper had 10 catches for 201 yards and three touchdowns in a 21-point win against Florida on Saturday.

Cooper had a pretty leaping grab in the end zone against stud Florida CB Vernon Hargreaves with 21 seconds left in the third quarter to give the Crimson Tide a 35-21 lead and essentially end the Gators' threat. On the play, he fought Hargreaves off with his hands before taking to the air, displaying two NFL traits against a fellow future pro. Cooper didn't get called for the penalty, but two of his other potential touchdown catches were called back on flags. The Cooper-Hargreaves matchup was everything scouts had hoped for, and draft analysts will be buzzing over it for at least the next week. If Cooper hadn't stamped his ticket into the first round before, he certainly has now. NFL.com's Albert Breer wrote earlier this week: "The 6-foot-1, 210-pound Cooper projects as a bigger, stronger Odell Beckham, and could be a top-15 draft pick."
Sep 20 - 7:46 PM

Wisconsin redshirt junior RB Melvin Gordon III rushed for 253 yards and five touchdowns on just 13 carries in the school's 68-17 win over Bowling Green.

Gordon III had been kept at bay this season due to facing a large volume of eight and nine man boxes, along with dealing with a minor hip injury. However, Rotoworld's Josh Norris had pointed out when Gordon saw open space he was still very effective. Gordon saw that space in this game, producing scoring runs of 21, 24, 50 and 69 yards. It is also worth pointing out that Gordon lost the first fumble of his career in this contest.
Sep 20 - 3:37 PM

Michigan State junior QB Connor Cook completed five of six passes for 83 yards and two touchdowns in the school's 73-14 win over Eastern Michigan.

Simply put, Cook was not needed in this contest and also added another rushing touchdown. Cook's two passing scores were converted from 23 and eight yards out. The junior has plenty to work on, namely a willingness to hand in the pocket on a consistent basis and manipulate the pocket against pressure, but he also has plenty of positive traits.
Sep 20 - 3:32 PM

Pittsburgh sophomore RB James Conner rushed for 155 yards and a touchdown on 29 carries in the school's 24-20 loss to Iowa.

Conner's NFL projection will be controversial, but he is a beast in college. The Pitt back could remind some of Jerome Bettis thanks to his light feet but ability to stay up on contact. His production will only continue.
Sep 20 - 3:22 PM

Georgia junior RB Keith Marshall ended Saturday's 66-0 win over Troy on crutches with a right leg injury.

"Keith Marshall had to be carried off the field by two trainers. That looks ominous, to say the least," beat writer Seth Emerson tweeted earlier. Teammates apparently consoled Marshall on the training table throughout the remainder of the game. Marshall has a history of knee injuries, most recently tearing his ACL last October.
Sep 20 - 3:12 PM

Georgia junior RB took six carries for 73 yards in the school's 66-0 win over Troy.

Gurley was just not needed in this contest, as freshman Sony Michel saw more carries and converted three touchdowns. Gurley has now recorded 41 carries for 402 yards and four touchdowns.
Sep 20 - 3:05 PM

FSU redshirt sophomore QB Jameis Winston will be on the sideline in tonight's game against Clemson despite being suspended for the contest, according to ESPN's Heather Cox.

Cox notes the goal is for Winston to help fill-in quarterback Sean Maguire. Winston's half game suspension was extended into a full game after he reportedly lied to FSU officials about this week's incident in the student union. Maguire has appeared in a handful of games during his career.
