NFL Network analyst Mike Mayock says Georgia's Aaron Murray is as accurate as any QB in the 2014 class.

"This kid gets it," Mayock said. "He's as accurate as any quarterback in the draft is. ... I really like the kid. I've got to do some more homework on him, because he's kind of changing my perception right now." The analyst said that the more tape he watched of Murray, the more that he liked him. Murray, of course, is the all-time SEC record holder in passing yards (13,166) and TD passes (121). Murray's agent Pat Dye, Jr. said last month that the signal caller has garnered interest from Cincinnati, Jacksonville, Arizona, Minnesota, New Orleans, St. Louis, Cleveland, Houston, Dallas, Oakland, Tennessee and Kansas City. Over the weekend, Dye said "dozens" of NFL teams have contacted him about his client.

Texas HC Charlie Strong told reporters sophomore QB Tyrone Swoopes "is the clear No. 2 quarterback."

David Ash is entrenched as the starter, but as we've seen there is no lock for him to play in every game. Swoopes only played in five games last season and completed five of 13 attempts for 26 yards, adding 79 rushing yards and a touchdown. He could grab the starting job in 2015.

Florida State HC Jimbo Fisher said senior Christian Green will likely start at WR opposite Rashad Greene.

Fisher also "made it clear he sees viable options in the underclassmen," according to ESPN's Jared Shanker. The beat writer adds sophomores Levonte Whitfield and Jesus Wilson are the most likely slot options, however, the latter still has work to do to get out of the doghouse. We think Greene works best from the slot, but his reps there might diminish during his final season. Expect him to rotate into the slot regardless.

The Senior Bowl has released their watch list of over 350 prospects for 2015's event.

The usual (senior) prospects are obviously included, but we are more interested in the redshirt juniors who are mentioned on the list. Phil Savage, the event's executive director, was able to alter the rules of players eligible for the Senior Bowl, allowing fourth year juniors that will graduate by December to qualify. Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota and UCLA Brett Hundley are two listed.

Fox Sports' Bruce Feldman tabbed Texas Tech sophomore QB Davis Webb as the Big 12's breakout player of the year.

"Don’t be surprised if Webb makes it to NYC as a Heisman finalist in the next two seasons," Feldman begins. "Kingsbury says Webb has the strongest arm of any QB to come through Tech, and he’s also extremely cerebral and determined." Webb was part of Texas Tech's quarterback carousel last year, but started the majority of games. he completed nearly 63 percent of his passes for 2,718 yards, 20 touchdowns and nine interceptions.

South Carolina junior RB Mike Davis is questionable for the team's season opener against Texas A&M.

The running back is dealing with a rib injury, but it does not appear to be serious. "Mike Davis has been hurt; he hasn't practiced all week," head coach Steve Spurrier said. "I don't know if he'd even be able to start or not." Rotoworld contributor Cian Fahey recently detailed Davis' game and believes he "will be at his best running behind zone-blocking schemes that let him focus on making one cut before accelerating into space." Davis missed one game last season due to injury.

Clemson RB Zac Brooks will miss the 2014 season due to a broken foot.

Brooks will reportedly redshirt the season and have two more years of eligibility. He is one of the team's primary backups at running back and offers more power than other ball carriers on the roster. It is a position of depth for the Tigers. Brooks rushed for and two touchdowns 246 yards on 48 carries last year.

NFL.com's Gil Brandt believes Stanford redshirt junior WR Devon Cajuste could be more special than teammate Ty Montgomery.

Montgomery has earned plenty of buzz thanks to his exceptional straight-line speed, but we think Montgomery does not show that same speed during non-vertical routes and does not consistently win in contested situations. Cajuste is a much bigger frame and has previously been used in the same capacity as receiving tight ends.

Redshirt sophomore Wes Lunt has won Illinois' starting QB job.

Lunt transferred from Oklahoma State prior to last season. The redshirt sophomore was competing with senior Reilly O'Toole and sophomore Aaron Bailey. Back in 2012, Lunt was the first true freshman to starting the Oklahoma State's opening game since 1950. He completed 62 percent of his passes while registering six touchdowns and seven interceptions in six games during his lone season with the Cowboys.

Kent State starting redshirt junior C Jason Bitsko died unexpectedly on Wednesday.

Obviously this is terrible news. Bitsko was found unresponsive in his apartment and the cause of death is not known. He started 12 games at right tackle in 2013. Our condolences go out to Bitsko's family and the Kent State program. The center's last tweet read: "There are 86,400 seconds in a day. Make sure you use one of those to thank god for everything you have."

Louisville senior RB Michael Dyer is considered day-to-day with a thigh contusion.

The injury occurred during the team's scrimmage. Head coach Booby Petrino was hopeful that Dyer would be able to play in the school's season opener against Miami. Currently the former Auburn runner is Dominique Brown's backup.

Oregon redshirt junior Andre Yruretagoyena and senior Jake Fisher are both taking LT snaps during preseason camp.

Projected starter Tyler Johnstone went down with a second major knee injury, and Yruretagoyena's name was one of the first to be mentioned as a replacement. We are fans of Fisher as a second day talent and would not mind seeing him get a chance on the left side. "The key there is if you lose someone who is your second tackle then you don't want to put in your tenth offensive lineman, you want to put in your sixth," head coach Mark Helfrich said.
