Ohio State CB Bradley Roby was arrested on Sunday for operating a vehicle while impaired, reports WBNS in Columbus.

The first-round prospect has a court date set for Friday. "This past weekend my client Bradley Roby was issued a citation in Columbus, Ohio for operating a vehicle while impaired (OVI)," Roby's agent, Michael Perrett, said in a statement. "Bradley was sitting in his parked car in a parking lot when he was approached and questioned by an officer. He was fully cooperative and willingly submitted to field sobriety and breathalyzer tests. His BAC test registered a negligible .008 and after further testing at the police station, he was very quickly released on his own recognizance. There are no other charges, and we are confident that this matter will be resolved quickly and favorably for Bradley. However, as the matter is still pending, we cannot comment further at this time." Roby, one of 30 prospects attending May's draft, was previously arrested in July of 2013 and charged with disorderly conduct.

Yahoo Sports' Pat Forde reports that Baylor will name DC Phil Bennett interim head coach following the expected firing of HC Art Briles.

Bennett is in his fifth year as Baylor's defensive coordinator. Prior to joining the Bears in 2011, he had spent his previous three seasons as the DC at Pittsburgh. Further word should surface as to potential permanent replacements for Briles as the day unfolds. He lost his job in the wake of a slew of sexual assault accusations against multiple former football players.

Baylor will announce the dismissal of head coach Art Briles, according to Craig Smoak of 1660 ESPN.

The news release is expected to be announced at noon ET. It was previously reported that school president Ken Starr's position would be altered by the end of the month, and many believed that would be the only move in reaction to the recent sexual assault allegations and potential cover-ups involving Baylor student-athletes. Briles has long been loved by the Baylor community and surrounding area, not just for turning the football program into a powerhouse but also for his work in the community. That community, however, was damaged by student-athletes under Briles and Starr's watch. Starr requested that the full report and investigation be released to the public. Briles apparently let the football team know via text.

WNML’s Jimmy Hyams reports that Tennessee sophomore RB Joe Young's career is in jeopardy following a serious neck injury suffered in spring practice.

Earlier this month, HC Butch Jones said Young would serve as a student coach for a while as he healed. It appears Young's prognosis was not as promising as first anticipated. The 5-foot-11, 200-pound Young, who was a three-star prospect, appeared in five games and rushed for 64 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries last year.

FSU HC Jimbo Fisher believes redshirt senior QB Sean Maguire (ankle) will be fully healthy by the end of the summer.

"He's back to 50 percent on the treadmill, running real hard," Fisher said. "Starting to do drops already. Hopefully by June, middle of June, he'll be going full speed." Maguire fractured his left ankle in the New Year's Eve Peach Bowl loss to Houston. Assuming he's ready for camp, Maguire will battle redshirt freshman Deondre Francois for the starting job.

247Sports' Ryan Bartow reports that former Alabama junior T Charles Baldwin is visiting Louisville on Wednesday.

Baldwin was dismissed from Alabama earlier in May due to a "violation of unspecified team rules." The 6-foot-5, 315-pounder ranked as ESPN's No. 1 JUCO prospect when he initially signed with Alabama in February. In addition to Wednesday's visit to Louisville -- Baldwin is hoping the trip results in an offer -- he also reportedly visited Temple last week.

Four-star 2017 RB Cam Akers released a list of the top 10 finalists for his commitment.

Mississippi native Akers included six SEC programs on his list, with Alabama (he had actually committed to Bama before nixing it in early March), LSU, Auburn, Georgia, Ole Miss and Tennessee making the cut. Ohio State, Michigan, FSU and Cal round out the 5-foot-11, 210-pounder's finalists. He is set for a visit to Georgia this weekend. Scout.com's Chad Simmons has described him as the "complete package," while Rivals ranks him as their No. 2 RB recruit in the country.

Oklahoma senior WR Dede Westbrook was arrested on a complaint of criminal trespass on Monday.

Per an official at Milam County jail in Cameron, Texas, Westbrook was booked at 11:30 a.m. Monday morning and released later that day. At this juncture, no further details regarding the circumstances of the trespassing complaint are available. Oklahoma spokesman Mike Houck said, "We're aware of it and are addressing internally." Westbrook is Oklahoma's leading returning receiver, having caught 46 passes for 743 yards and four touchdowns for the 2015 campaign.

Miami head coach Mark Richt plans to donate $1 million of his own money to help the school build an indoor practice facility.

The facility is apparently No. 1 on Miami's priority list, and it makes sense as Miami's pro day this spring was nearly ruined by rain. The entire project, not just this facility, will reportedly cost around $20 million, and Miami is currently one of the only top programs without this kind of facility. We are struggling to remember a coach donating this amount of money before coaching his first game with the program. Granted, Richt did play for Miami.

When asked about the status of sophomore WR Antonio Callaway and junior WR/QB Treon Harris, head coach Jim McElwain said the pair is still suspended.

"Still status-quo," McElwain told reporters. "They are not with the football program right now." Callaway was the team's leading receiver last year, totaling 678 yards and four touchdowns on 35 receptions in just his first season of collegiate football. Many view Callaway as one of the bright young receivers in college football, and we know McElwain can feed his top target. However, Callaway and Harris were suspended for spring practice with very little information disclosed.

Five-star 2017 DT Marvin Wilson indicated that he is intrigued by Texas, but wants to see them win nine games this season.

Wilson stands as Rivals' No. 1 overall recruit for 2017, so HC Charlie Strong might want to try extra hard this coming season. "That’s all they have to do. They have to win. I would say nine wins," said the 6-foot-4, 320-pounder. "If they can make it to nine wins, they would be in the discussion big time, especially [for] a kid that grew up watching Texas." For reference's sake, the Longhorns went 5-7 last season.

Ohio State redshirt freshman T Grant Schmidt transferred to Cincinnati.

Doff of the cap to cincinnati.com's Tom Groeschen for the news of Schmidt's transfer. The 6-foot-6, 285-pound tackle -- a four-star recruit from the 2015 Buckeye class -- will be sidelined by transfer regulations for the coming season, but will have three years of eligibility remaining starting in 2017.
