Washington State has released redshirt freshman QB Tyler Bruggman from scholarship, according to Fox Sports' Bruce Feldman.

Bruggman was competing with Luke Falk for the No. 2 job. The quarterback took a redshirt year during his first season with the Cougars, and Feldman notes Bruggman has been released to play for Arkansas, Duke, Louisville or Indiana. He was listed as a four-star prospect by many scouting services.

A "number of teams" have red flagged Boise State RB Jay Ajayi's knee when reviewing medical checks, according to Tony Pauline.

Thee knee injury (which was described as "shredded") occurred during an attempted theft when Ajayi was 18 years old after just moving to the U.S. for football. Beat writer Chadd Cripe once said "The injury on the field was so bad that coaches wondered if he'd recover." Pauline's report is worth keeping in mind during draft weekend, especially if Ajayi stays on the board longer than expected.

Northern Iowa RB David Johnson is visiting the Falcons on Monday, according to Vaughn McClure.

Johnson is a unique evaluation. He is at his best as a receive rout of the backfield, displaying comfort and body control to make difficult catches. We do not view him as a natural runner behind the line of scrimmage - his movements and vision do not look fluid. Johnson also posted one of the best Combine workouts of any ball carrier this year.

Miami LB Denzel Perryman is visiting the Jaguars on Monday, according to Aaron Wilson.

Perryman is a straightforward, traditional linebacker who loves to take on and run through blockers rather than trying to work around them. We think he is a liability in space, but it will be interesting to see what price tag teams put on a linebacker like Perryman.

Miami WR Phillip Dorsett is visiting the Eagles on Monday, according to Aaron Wilson.

The Eagles do not have a receiver like Dorsett on their current roster. The Miami receiver wins with quickness and speed on underneath routes and taking the top off coverages in a straight-line. Nelson Agholor is frequently mocked to the Eagles, but Dorsett might be a more realistic option. If selected, Chip is showing his cards in terms of wanting a smaller receiver who wins with speed.

Former Michigan edge rusher Frank Clark recently visited the Seahawks.

Clark's projection is difficult to pin down. Multiple reports have stated he will be a top 100 selection despite a domestic violence case that ended his time at Michigan. He recently reached a plea deal, which dropped the charge to a misdemeanor disorderly conduct. Clark is a very good talent and checks a lot of the on-field boxes the Seahawks look for.

Maryland DT Darius Kilgo has visited the Buffalo Bills, Washington Redskins, Green Bay Packers and Miami Dolphins, reports the Baltimore Sun.

Kilgo also met with the New England Patriots prior to the Terps' Pro Day workout. He completed 33 reps on the bench at that event. Kilgo's other testing times (5.19 second 40, 7.6 second 3-cone) were mediocre, but he "looked terrific in position drills," according to TFY Draft Insider's Tony Pauline. The 6-foot-2, 313-pounder posted 31 tackles, eight for losses and two sacks last season.

Wisconsin T Rob Havenstein has had private workouts for the Cincinnati Bengals, Jacksonville Jaguars, St. Louis Rams and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, reports the Baltimore Sun.

Despite Havenstein's horrid combine showing -- he beat only eight offensive linemen with a 5.46 40-yard dash, had one of the worst 20-yard shuttle showings amongst linemen (4.87), had the worst three-cone drill time (8.28), and posted a field-low 16 reps on the bench press -- he "has impressed NFL teams with his size, intelligence and toughness," according to Aaron Wilson. Wisconsin's 320.1 rushing yards per game ranked third nationally last year and Melvin Gordon was frequently instructed to run behind Havenstein's wake. Havenstein is only a desirable prospect for run-heavy teams.

Eagles head coach Chip Kelly put Penn State DB Adrian Amos through a workout on PSU's campus.

You'll recall that Amos recently visited the Eagles, so this was something of a follow-up. "The Eagles said I did well," Amos wrote in a draft diary. "It all comes down to where they see value. I personally know what I can do and what value I bring to the team. It's about getting everybody to realize that. With this draft, you never know where you may fall or how you may fall to another team." Amos also passed along that he will attend the Ravens' local workout on Tuesday.
Apr 19 - 6:29 PM

Georgia RB Todd Gurley will visit the Patriots this week.

New England picks at No. 32 overall, a half-round behind where Gurley is expected to be taken, though it's not out of the realm of possibility that Gurley slides due to his knee injury or that the Patriots attempt to make a play up the board to acquire him. Gurley's medical re-check of his ACL went well, mitigating the effect of the injury on his evaluation.

Miami (OH) DB Quinten Rollins is scheduled to visit the Falcons next week, according to Rand Getlin.

Expect Rollins to be evaluated and/or drafted as a free safety or cornerback. The one year collegiate football player shows an innate feel for movement, timing and playing the ball in the air. However, he tested like a below average athlete. The Falcons are in search of a free safety across from William Moore.

FSU DT Eddie Goldman met with the Jaguars in Tallahassee, FL, per Aaron Wilson.

We have already passed along Goldman's meetings with the 49ers, Lions, Patriots and Browns, and Wilson adds the DT will work out for the Panthers. We highly doubt Goldman is selected in the first round, but a top 50 selection is absolutely in the picture.
