Former UCLA redshirt junior OT Torian White was graded as a Rd. 4-5 preseason prospect by TFY Draft Insider Tony Pauline.

White was booted from school in the spring after he was found responsible for two instances of sexual misconduct. "The left tackle looked good in 2012 then dominated during a brief tenure last year before his season was halted with a broken ankle," Pauline wrote. "He offers tremendous next level potential but obviously comes with baggage." We haven't yet heard of White's plans for the future.

Louisville senior RB Michael Dyer rushed for 134 yards and three touchdowns on 28 carries in the school's 42-31 loss to FSU.

Dyer posted a ton of production early in this game, displaying the similar ability to when he played for Auburn. The running back's college career has been a winding road, starting for Auburn as a freshman then transferring to Arkansas State, then finding himself out of FBS football before transferring to Louisville. Head coach Charlie Strong is no longer with the school, but Dyer is still emerging as Louisville's top rushing threat.

The NCAA has upheld Georgia junior RB Todd Gurley's suspension, meaning he can return on November 15 versus Auburn.

Gurley's suspension will last a total of four games. He has been practicing with the team and should be ready to fully contribute on November 15. He will miss the next two games against Kentucky and Missouri, and both schools should expect to see a lot of Nick Chubb.

Florida State redshirt sophomore QB Jameis Winston completed 25-of-48 passes for 401 yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions in a comeback win Thursday over Louisville.

Nobody said repeating as National Champions was going to be easy. Florida State trailed for the vast majority of the game and faced a 31-28 deficit with four minutes remaining, but scored two late touchdowns to fend off the Cardinals, who finished 0-for-10 on third downs. Winston played through a bum ankle, throwing a career-high three interceptions, though we don't suspect anybody will remember that. After an ugly first half (10-for-22 with zero touchdowns and two interceptions), Winston lit it up after emerging from the locker room to put the finishing touches on his second career 400-yard game, improving to 21-0 as a starter.

Louisville senior WR DeVante Parker had eight receptions for 214 yards in Thursday's 42-31 loss to Florida State.

Excuse NFL scouts for salivating. Against a talented secondary featuring potential first-round CB P.J. Williams, Parker thrived, averaging 26.8 yards per catch (including a 71-yard reception). He missed the first seven games of the season with a broken foot, but has made up for lost time immediately, hauling in 17 receptions for 346 yards (he had 55 receptions for 885 yards and a UL-record-tying 12 touchdowns last year). Boasting a 4.39 forty, a 10-foot, 10-inch broad jump, an 80-inch wingspan, and a ridiculous catch radius, the 6-foot-3, 208-pound Parker is a future first-rounder. Rotoworld ranks Parker as the No. 2 draft-eligible receiver, behind Oklahoma's Dorial Green-Beckham.

True freshman QB Kyle Allen will start for Texas A&M against Louisiana Monroe on Saturday, according to CBS DFW.

Allen's only attempted 38 passes on the season, but now-former starter Kenny Hill has struggled (six touchdowns, six interceptions over last three games) of late. Texas A&M is looking for anything that might give the team a spark. Allen was a top five-star recruit and is an athletic, pro-style quarterback. That upset win against South Carolina to open the season is looking further and further away as we enter November.

Michigan HC Brady Hoke said that he had no concerns about Michigan true freshman CB Jabrill Peppers possibly transferring after the 2014 season.

"He came here for a lot of different reasons, and one of them is, as a young kid, he’s always loved Michigan," said Hoke. Peppers has missed several games due to various leg injuries and there are rumblings about a transfer. He was a consensus five-star recruit ranked as the No. 3 overall prospect in the 2014 class. If he doesn't transfer, it's possible he'll sit out the rest of the season and be eligible for a medical redshirt in 2015. Of course, this is all contingent on him remaining with a Michigan team that is in disarray. Hoke can say that he's not worried about Peppers transferring, but there's a good chance Hoke isn't even with the program for the 2015 season.

Clemson freshman QB Deshaun Watson began throwing with his surgically repaired hand on Wednesday.

After shattering freshman expectations once taking over as the school's starting quarterback, Watson broke a bone in his hand against Louisville and has missed the last two contests. Clemson is set to play Wake Forest next week, and Watson's timeline is supposed to culminate in a return following the contest.

One NFC personnel director believes Utah redshirt senior Nate Orchard is best suited to play outside linebacker in the NFL.

The executive saying Orchard "is not a true defensive end" leads us to believe he see Orchard as a stand up pass rusher in an odd man front. As you can tell from listing these types of prospects as "edge rushers," we hate the DE/OLB designations. So many teams are multiple with their looks up front that in many cases there is no difference. And do not get use started with people ranking pass rushing OLBs and off line of scrimmage OLBs together. Orchard is mainly a straight-line players, but he is already being moved around a lot and has a very good motor to make plays from the backside.

USC junior WR Nelson Agholor was compared to a "young Reggie Wayne" by an NFC scout.

The comparison originated from Agholor's ability to get in and out of his breaks and route running. "One concern the scout expressed about Agholor was field awareness," NFL media writes, citing the receiver stepping out of bounds before converting a fourth down play. The receiver class is shaping up to be another great one, which is noteworthy since last year's group is already making an immediate impact.

One AFC scout told NFL media he has zero concerns or questions regarding USC junior DL Leonard Williams' motor.

"You always worry about motor with defensive linemen... When I watch Leonard Williams play, I see Richard Seymour," the scout said. You will see Williams listed as a defensive end in many rankings, but he will almost certainly play a 5 or 3 technique role for an odd or multiple front. If everything checks out, look for Williams to be a top 10 or 5 selection.

CBS Sports' Rob Rang calls USC junior DL Leonard Williams a "physical mismatch" who could entice the Raiders at the number one pick.

The Raiders are set at quarterback with Derek Carr. Rang sees as Williams as a "physical mismatch too quick for interior lineman and too powerful for offensive tackles" to handle. Rang previously noted that scouts were comparing the 6-foot-5, 290-pound junior to such current NFL studs as J.J. Watt and Gerald McCoy. A prime example of Williams' ability to dominate came several weeks back, when he recorded eleven tackles and a sack against Stanford, earning him Pac-12 Player of the Week honors.
