Oklahoma has yet to file their waiver appeal for junior (or redshirt sophomore) WR Dorial Green-Beckham.

Oklahoma "officials are waiting on one last bit of paperwork from Missouri," Emig writes. "Green-Beckham’s former school has been cooperative with his new one generally, but now must help once more." We doubt DGB will be awarded immediate eligibility, but crazier things have happened. There is a chance the receiver never plays a down for the Sooners if he is forced to sit out the 2014 season. Green-Beckham will be able to practice with the Sooners no matter what.

Oregon graduate QB Vernon Adams has been approved to begin graduate classes at Oregon.

Adams has been admitted and is eligible to enroll, though he hasn't filled out all the paperwork to make his enrollment official just yet. That's expected to be a formality. Once it's completed, Adams will join the competition to replace Marcus Mariota.

Duke redshirt senior LB Kelby Brown will miss his final collegiate season after tearing the ACL in his left knee.

It is the same injury that kept Brown out of the 2014 season. That comes after undergoing two surgeries on his right knee, in 2010 and 2012. Brown has used every season of eligibility and finishes his 32 game career with 242 tackles and 23.5 tackles for loss.

UAB LB transfer Jake Ganus could start for Georgia this season.

UAB players were free to transfer after the program was shutdown (the school has since stated football will return). Ganus was the team's top tackler and was the only Blazer to land in the SEC. "All he did this spring was make plays," according to ESPN's Greg Ostendorf, adding the linebacker was initially brought in for depth, but his role could be much larger.

FSU has dismissed suspended freshman QB De'Andre Johnson from the football team.

The video of Johnson punching a woman in a bar went viral today, so this dismissal was only a matter of time. FSU suspended Johnson immediately following the incident. "Johnson's attorney, Jose Baez, said his client is "extremely embarrassed" and is participating in community service and faith-based programs focused on battered women," according to beat writer Sean Rossman. Johnson was charged with misdemeanor battery after the State Attorney watched the surveillance video. If Johnson continues his playing career, it will likely have to start at the JUCO level.

Houston DE Eric Eiland is available to be selected in the Supplemental Draft.

Tony Pauline said as much in February. Eiland started 10 games last season and produced 3.5 tackles for loss. The 27 year old spent four years in the minor league baseball circuit after he was selected in the second-round by the Toronto Blue Jays. Apparently he tried to enter April's draft but screwed up the paperwork.

Auburn senior WR Duke Williams only dropped two catchable targets last season, according to PFF.

PFF credited Williams with 44 catches (it is 45 in other places), giving him a drop rate of just 4.35. We could not say the same for his former teammate Sammie Coates. It is worth noting that almost every charting service sides with the wide receiver, but good drop rates tend to stay in the good to average range. The JUCO transfer was frequently used in the slot on short and intermediate routes.

Braxton Miller plans to stay at Ohio State, according to one source Joe Schad spoke with.

That person said Miller will "continue (to) focus on rehabilitation/recovery." Why is this news surfacing again? Because the Columbus Dispatch recently heard from Miller that he will announce his plans next week. Miller staying at OSU has been the likely conclusion all along.

Pittsburgh's projected starting RT, redshirt sophomore Jaryd Jones-Smith, will miss the season due to a right knee injury.

The injury was suffered during offseason activities. Jones-Smith started three games at left tackle last season and was expected to replace T.J. Clemmings on the right side. Like Clemmings, Jones-Smith offers immense size at 6'6/335 lbs. The Panthers have not had the offseason they were hoping for under new head coach Pat Narduzzi.

The "perception around the league" is the Falcons are interested in Clemson supplemental draft T Isaiah Battle, according to Giants' beat writer Jordan Raanan.

As Raanan put it, Atlanta is "hot on Isaiah Battle's trail." Josh Norris took an extended look at Battle's play and was not impressed, citing a lack of strength/anchor in pass protection along with balance and waist bending issues. Some have mentioned a third- or fourth-round selection, which seems a bit rich. We expect Battle to be selected, but the question is how early. Any team that uses a supplemental draft selection loses that same pick in the following draft.

Baylor junior DT Andrew Billings "has a chance to be big time," according to Scouts Inc.'s Kevin Weidl.

"Quick, strong with explosive upper body power. Impressive tape," Weidl tweeted. The talent evaluator notes Billings does not have a lot of pass rushing production (which is common for interior defensive linemen), "but there is plenty of upside" which is evident in Baylor's game against West Virginia. With defensive tackles, it is always worth pointing out disruption equals production.

Michigan graduate DL Ondre Pipkins is considering Missouri, Texas Tech and Kansas as transfer destinations, according to Joe Schad.

Pipkins recently vocalized his frustrations with the new Michigan staff, saying he was pressured to sign a waiver that would end his playing career and allow his scholarship to be freed. The one time coveted recruit has a long injury history, including a torn ACL. He will be eligible to play immediately.
