Boston College redshirt freshman QB Anthony Brown (knee) will miss the remainder of the season.

Brown suffered the ever-terrifying non-contact injury on a cut in Saturday's 17-14 loss against North Carolina State. Darius Wade replaced Brown, and will presumably do so going forward. Brown flashed some dual-threat potential in 10 games, completing 51.9-percent of his passes for 1,367 yards and an 11/9 TD/INT rate. In addition, he rushed for 210 yards and caught a 25-yard touchdown pass.

Oklahoma redshirt freshman RB Kennedy Brooks ran for 168 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries in a 52-27 victory on Saturday against TCU.

Brooks (5'/10/205) and Trey Sermon split carries, and both went over 100 yards. While Sermon had two scores, it was Brooks who had the bigger yardage day, and he was able to find the end zone himself on a 21-yard scamper to give the Sooners a 21-7 lead. Brooks has now gone over the century mark in two-of-three games, and he's made the loss of Rodney Anderson much less damaging than it probably should have been for Oklahoma. He and the Sooners get Kansas State next Saturday.

Buffalo redshirt senior WR Anthony Johnson caught four passes for 83 yards and two touchdowns in Saturday's 31-17 win over Toledo.

He's baaaaccccckkkk! Jackson has struggled with a hamstring injury over the past month, an injury that forced him to miss one game and had him limited in another. Johnson (6'2/210) was reported to be nearing 100% prior to the game and then went out and showed that to be the case. He is a prime NFL prospect.
Oct 20 - 3:52 PM

Buffalo redshirt junior QB Tyree Jackson completed 25-of-46 passes for 326 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions in Saturday's 31-17 win over Toledo.

Interesting little game for Jackson here, as for once he wasn't necessarily the straw that stirred the drink for the Bulls. He faced pressure for about the first time this season, having entered been sacked only once all year. He also threw three picks after entering today with an 18/5 TD/INT rate. But Jackson's teammates utterly dominated Toledo, leading to a monstrous yardage and first down edge that nullified the turnovers. Buffalo is for real, folks.
Oct 20 - 3:50 PM

Oklahoma redshirt junior QB Kyler Murray completed 19-of-24 passes for 213 yards and four touchdowns while rushing for 51 yards in a 52-27 victory over TCU on Saturday.

Not a huge yardage game from the Heisman contender, but that's nitpicking. Murray had no trouble finding open receivers against the Horned Frogs, and the Sooners were also able to gash the TCU defense for 323 yards on the ground. In his first -- and very likely last -- year as the starting quarterback for the Sooners, Murray now has a 21/3 TD/INT ratio and impressive 71.3 completion percentage. We'll see him back on the field next Saturday against Kansas State.

Washington senior RB Myles Gaskin (shoulder) was not in uniform for Saturday's game against Colorado.

Gaskin, who was limited in Washington's October 13 loss at Oregon as a result of the shoulder injury, was expected to play against Colorado and did go through pregame. However it's clear that the senior isn't where he needs to be health-wise, as he's now on the sideline out of uniform. Salvon Ahmed, who received much of the work at running back in the loss to Oregon, is now Washington's top available option.
Oct 20 - 3:48 PM

Alabama sophomore QB Tua Tagovailoa (knee) started Saturday's game at Tennessee.

Tagovailoa aggravated a knee issue he'd been dealing with during the second half of Alabama's October 13 win over Missouri, but HC Nick Saban did say after that game that the sophomore could have returned if needed. The Heisman contender went through practice in the days leading up to Saturday's game in Knoxville without any complications, so his leading the Alabama offense comes as no surprise.
Oct 20 - 3:45 PM

Michigan State senior WR Felton Davis III will not return to Saturday's game against Michigan due to a torn Achilles tendon.

Davis tore the Achilles in his left leg late in the second quarter in what was a non-contact injury. Michigan State's been hit hard by injuries at the wide receiver position, and to lose a key leader in Davis is another blow for that unit to absorb. The senior, who was outstanding in Michigan State's October 13 win at Penn State, was considered to be questionable for Saturday's game due to a hip injury.

Texas Tech redshirt sophomore WR T.J. Vasher (back) will start Saturday's game against Kansas.

The Red Raiders are getting two key pieces back for this game in Alan Bowman (lung) and Vasher. The wideout sustained a back injury against TCU a week ago Thursday -- this after missing the previous game with a knee injury. Vasher owns an 18-283-3 receiving line in five games this season.
Oct 20 - 3:19 PM

Iowa junior QB Nathan Stanley completed 11-of-22 passes for 86 yards, a touchdown and an interception in Saturday's 23-0 win over Maryland.

This stat line looks ugly, but trust us, Stanley was fine. Wind was whipping around Iowa City at a clip of 20 or more mph (15 mph is considered extremely windy playing conditions), which grounded both passing attacks (Maryland managed 47 yards and an INT on 15 attempts). And since Iowa jumped out to a commanding lead early, they really didn't have a ton for Stanley to do but hand off. The 6-1 Hawkeyes travel to Happy Valley for a huge matchup next weekend against Penn State.
Oct 20 - 3:13 PM

Colorado redshirt senior WR Jay MacIntryre (concussion) will not play in Saturday's game at Washington.

With MacIntyre, who was placed in the team's concussion protocol after taking a vicious hit during the October 13 loss at USC, out Colorado will be down two of its best wide receivers. Sophomore Laviska Shenault Jr. (toe), who was also injured during that game, is also out of the lineup. These absences place even more responsibility upon the shoulders of wide receivers K.D. Nixon, Tony Brown and Juwann Winfree in the Colorado passing game.
Oct 20 - 3:12 PM

Washington senior RB Myles Gaskin (shoulder) will play in Saturday's game against Colorado.

This was expected as offensive coordinator Bush Hamdan mentioned earlier in the week that he expected Gaskin to play. Gaskin was injured against UCLA and played sparingly last week against Oregon. He and backup RB Salvon Ahmed should both play a big role in this one against the Buffs.
