According to CBS Sports' Jon Heyman, Marlins reliever Juan Carlos Oviedo has secured a work visa.

Oviedo received a pardon from the U.S. State Department earlier this week and is now free to travel back to Florida. He'll report to extended spring training in a couple of days to begin working out. The 28-year-old is expected to get an eight-week suspension from Major League Baseball but is finally out of the woods from a legal standpoint.

Paul Goldschmidt went 2-for-4 with a walk, a two-run single, and two stolen bases as the Diamondbacks pounded their way to a win over the Dodgers on Monday.

Goldschmidt is now on a 10-game hitting streak, extended with a single in the sixth inning just ahead of a Yasmany Tomas home run. Goldy then ripped a two-run single in the eighth to cap off a four-run frame. He's having a bonkers year, carrying a .352/.467/.637 triple-slash line with 20 home runs, 64 RBI, 15 stolen bases, 55 runs scored, and 60 walks.

Mike Trout did it all to help the Angels beat the Yankees on Monday, homering, stealing a base, and playing stellar defense.

Trout broke a 1-1 tie in the bottom of the third inning with a solo home run off of CC Sabathia. He also stole his first base since May 22, though it didn't lead to a run. On the defensive side of things, he made a handful of terrific catches in support of starter C.J. Wilson. Trout, likely to start in center field for the AL All-Star team, is batting .300/.390/.583 with 20 home runs, 43 RBI, and nine stolen bases.

Kendall Graveman silenced the Rockies with seven shutout innings, helping the Athletics to a 7-1 win on Monday.

Graveman scattered five hits and three walks while striking out three. All five hits were singles. The right-hander has been terrific since returning from the minor leagues in late May. Over his last eight starts, Graveman has a 20.1 ERA in 53 2/3 innings. He'll look to keep it going over the weekend with a home start against the Mariners.
Jun 30 - 12:58 AM

Billy Butler had a big night, going 3-for-4 with a double, a home run, two RBI, and three runs scored in Monday's win against the Rockies.

Butler singled and scored in the first inning, clubbed a solo home run in the fourth, knocked in a run with a double in the eighth and later scored on Brett Lawrie's triple. Aside from a four-hit night on June 17, Butler hadn't done anything at the plate, batting a miserable .179 (10-for-56) since June 5. Overall, he's hitting .254/.315/.366 with six home runs and 34 RBI.
Jun 30 - 12:49 AM

Lance McCullers held the Royals to a lone run in seven innings of work to pick up the win on Monday.

McCullers scattered four hits and a pair of walks while striking out six. The lone run came in the seventh inning on a Salvador Perez home run. It's only the third time in nine starts the right-hander has pitched into the seventh inning, but he has otherwise had a terrific start to his major league career, brandishing a 2.19 ERA with a 1.01 WHIP and a 58/18 K/BB ratio in 53 1/3 innings. McCullers will match up with the Red Sox at Fenway Park next.
Jun 29 - 11:17 PM

Billy Hamilton reached base four times and stole four bases in six plate appearances on Monday to help the Reds stave off the Twins.

Hamilton stole four bases in a game earlier this year and also accomplished the feat in September of 2013, so it's old hat for him. He singled twice and walked twice to set up his speed attack. The outfielder is batting a measly .224/.273/.295 but has scored 37 runs while stealing 40 bases in 46 attempts just ahead of the schedule's midpoint.
Jun 29 - 11:00 PM

Jonathan Lucroy tallied four hits in five at-bats, scoring twice and knocking in two runs to help the Brewers take down the Phillies on Monday.

All four hits were singles. He singled and scored in the first and third innings, then hit run-scoring singles in the sixth and eighth innings. The catcher missed about a month and a half of the season due to a broken toe and has only been able to muster a .235/.284/.302 batting line with one home run and 14 RBI on the year.
Jun 29 - 10:42 PM

The Rays officially announced that Matt Moore (elbow) will make his season debut on Thursday against the Indians.

Moore struck out eight while allowing two runs over five innings for Triple-A Durham on Saturday in his final rehab start. Overall, he held a 2.95 ERA and 24/8 K/BB ratio over 21 1/3 frames across five rehab outings. The numbers are nice, but Moore's velocity hasn't returned to pre-Tommy John levels yet and he's a guy who had control issues before the operation. Fantasy owners would be wise not to get too carried away with expectations.
Jun 29 - 10:23 PM

Mitch Moreland drilled a pair of home runs, powering the Rangers past the Orioles on Monday.

Another big day for the first baseman. He clubbed a solo shot in the second inning off of Bud Norris, then victimized Norris again in the fourth inning for a two-run blast. He finished 2-for-5 on the evening. Moreland has 12 homers on the year with 39 RBI and a .300/.346/.533 batting line in what has been a career year.
Jun 29 - 10:22 PM

Cody Anderson brought a perfect game into the seventh inning against the Rays on Monday, ultimately getting the win with eight innings of one-run ball.

Anderson's bid for perfection was broken up in the seventh inning when Grady Sizemore ripped a solo home run to right field. It was only one of two hits he'd allow on the night. He walked none and struck out two. So far, so good for Anderson in two major league starts. He's allowed the one run in 15 2/3 innings with six strikeouts and one walk. It doesn't seem like a good long-term recipe but stranger things have happened. Anderson will look to keep it going in Pittsburgh against the Pirates next.
Jun 29 - 10:03 PM

Clay Buchholz delivered eight innings of one-run ball in a win against the Blue Jays on Monday.

Buchholz's ERA continues to drop at a precipitous rate. In his third consecutive sterling performance this month, the right-hander scattered five hits without issuing a walk and striking out five. The lone run came around in the sixth inning on Josh Donaldson's RBI double. Buchholz heads into a weekend start at home against the Astros with a 3.48 ERA, a 1.24 WHIP, and a 96/23 K/BB ratio in 101 innings.
