Joe Panik will miss a second straight game Wednesday due to back tightness.

Panik noted that it wasn't one play that caused the injury, but rather it's just "one of those things" you have to deal with during a long season. He's considered day-to-day. Ehire Adrianza will get another start at second base Wednesday.

FOX Sports' Jon Morosi thinks there's a "better chance" that the Tigers trade David Price than the White Sox trade Jeff Samardzija.

The White Sox suddenly have a better record than the Tigers after winning six straight and might decide to make a run at a Wild Card spot. It's certainly still possible another club makes an offer for Samardzija that they can't refuse, but the righty has pitched really well of late and Chicago could just settle on receiving draft pick compensation for him if he leaves as a free agent.
