Mark Feinsand of the New York Daily News reports that Nick Swisher will visit multiple teams in person next week.

Swisher has been patient this offseason, but the market is finally starting to fall into place now that Josh Hamilton has signed with the Angels. The Indians have reportedly expressed the most interest of late, but the Mariners and Rangers could both potentially be in play now that Hamilton is off the board. There's even a chance the Red Sox could be in the mix if Mike Napoli's deal falls apart.

Josh Reddick hit his first home run of the season in Saturday's 5-0 win over the Royals.

Reddick launched a three-run shot off of Yordano Ventura in the fourth inning. Next batter Brett Lawrie paid the bill on that one, as Ventura plunked him and was ejected. Extracurricular activity aside, Reddick finished the game 2-for-4. He had been on the shelf for more than a month as he recovered from an oblique injury. Reddick hit 12 home runs in his 2013 and 2014 campaigns, both of which were shortened by injuries. When healthy, he's a potential 20+ home run player.

Starling Marte hit his third home run of the season while driving in five runs in Saturday's 6-2 win over the Brewers.

Marte almost single-handedly sent Brewers' starter Kyle Lohse to the showers. In the first inning, the outfielder hit a two-run single to center. Then, in the fifth, he launched a three-run shot to left. If this wasn't enough, he also chipped in a stolen base just for fun. This was his second home run in as many days (and his second steal in as many days, to boot). All of this came after an icy start to the season. Even with the recent pyrotechnics, he's still hitting just .189/.225/.459 on the year. Marte was a .291 hitter last year. Don't worry too much about the early struggles.

Jesse Hahn left his start Saturday versus the Royals with a blister on his right hand.

It doesn't sound like much, though blisters sometimes cause starting pitchers to miss rotation turns. It's a coin flip whether Hahn will be ready to go Thursday against the Angels. If he isn't ready, expect Jesse Chavez to get the nod. Hahn allowed just three hits over 5 1/3 scoreless innings on Saturday night against the Royals and boasts a 2.12 ERA through three starts this season.

Yordano Ventura was ejected from Saturday's game against the A's after hitting Brett Lawrie with a pitch.

This was retaliation for Lawrie sliding hard into Alcides Escobar on Friday night. Ventura's intent was clear and now he's probably headed for a suspension. The 23-year-old right-hander got hit pretty hard in this one, surrendering five runs in only 3 1/3 innings of work. Chris Young would likely get the call if Ventura is suspended for his next turn.

Joe Nathan (elbow) threw off a mound on Saturday.

He hadn't done that since suffering a flexor strain in his right elbow earlier this month. Nathan only tossed 15 pitches Saturday but said he felt "awesome." The next step will be a full bullpen session on Monday. If all goes well, Nathan could be activated Wednesday, the first day he's eligible to come off the disabled list. Joakim Soria has been filling in at closer.

Zach Britton earned his fourth save of the season Saturday in the Orioles' 4-1 win over the Red Sox.

Britton retired all three batters he faced -- two via strikeout. The 27-year-old closer has been missing bats at an elevated rate so far this season and has nailed down saves in four of the O's six victories. He looks capable of carrying big time fantasy value all year.

The Nationals are likely to activate Denard Span (abdomen) from the disabled list on Sunday.

Span underwent core surgery on March 9 and has spent the last month and a half recovering. He went 4-for-8 with a home run during a rehab stint with Low-A Hagerstown and made it through Saturday's team workout with the Nationals without any soreness. Span's return should push rookie Michael Taylor back to the pine, or maybe even Triple-A.

Starlin Castro had a walk-off RBI single in a 7-6 win over the Padres in 11 innings on Saturday.

After Craig Kimbrel walked pinch-hitter David Ross to load the bases with one out in the 11th, Castro pulled a pitch into left field to win it for Chicago. He finished the day 3-for-6 with two RBI and a run scored. The 25-year-old has just two extra-base hits (including one home run) so far, but he's hitting .317 (13-for-41) over 10 games.

Justin Upton is day-to-day with a strained quad.

It's unclear when the injury occurred as Upton never left Saturday's game against the Cubs. Upton has been his usual productive self this season, hitting .326 with three home runs and eight RBI. Will Venable could see time in left field if Upton has to sit out a few games.
Apr 18 - 6:43 PM

Kris Bryant got his first major league hit Saturday against the Padres and reached base five times.

Bryant finished the day 2-for-3 with three walks. His first hit was a bloop single in the bottom of the fifth inning which brought home a run. He also had an infield single in the 11th. After going 0-for-4 with three strikeouts in his highly-anticipated major league debut on Friday, this performance was nice to see. Fantasy owners are banking on lots of power from Bryant, but ups and downs are to be expected.
Apr 18 - 6:40 PM

Miguel Montero was 2-for-3 with two home runs, three RBI, and a walk against the Padres on Saturday.

Montero hit a solo homer against Tyson Ross in the sixth inning before launching a two-run shot off Chris Rearick in the very next frame. It was the ninth multi-homer game of his career. Montero came into Saturday's action with just two hits over his first 19 at-bats this season. Perhaps this will get him on track.
