According to Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports.com, the Mariners have agreed to a one-year, $2.75 million contract with free agent outfielder Raul Ibanez.

The deal also includes $1.25 million in performance-based incentives. This will be his third tour of duty with Seattle, where he played from 1996-2000 and again from 2004-2008. He was originally drafted by the M's.

K-Rod tossed a perfect ninth inning to lock down Milwaukee's 13th win in 18 games. He has not been scored upon in 2014 and has been among the most valuable fantasy closers through the first three weeks of the season. It was K-Rod's 310th career save, tying him with Goose Gossage for 20th on the all-time major league leaderboard.

Hamels threw seven innings of one-run ball Thursday at High-A Clearwater, wrapping up his minor league rehab assignment with a 2.12 ERA and 12/1 K/BB ratio in 17 total frames. The Dodgers present a tough first matchup, but Hamels should be a fantasy ace going forward.
