Avisail Garcia is considered day-to-day after leaving Monday's game with more inflammation in his right knee.

Garcia had just returned to action on Sunday after missing two games with the ailment. He singled in his first at-bat Monday but then had to be taken out when the knee acted up on him again. It sets up as a sticky situation for fantasy owners, as Garcia's ailment doesn't appear bad enough to require a disabled list stint but he also might be in and out of the lineup.

The shortstop is putting together an All-Star caliber campaign with a .304/.367/.500 batting line and seven home runs.

Travis d'Arnaud (finger) could be activated from the disabled list as soon as June 1.

That's a best-case scenario, while Mets general manager Sandy Alderson thinks the June 4-7 series versus the Diamondbacks might be a more realistic target.
