CBS Sports' Jon Heyman reports that the Pirates have re-signed Clint Barmes.

Details are still being finalized, so no word yet on the exact terms. Barmes just finished up a two-year, $10.5 million deal with Pittsburgh, but he's going to have to settle for less this time around.

Chad Billingsley has been sent for a dye-MRI on his right elbow after a bullpen session Tuesday was cut short due to renewed discomfort.

It's the second setback he's had recently, as Billingsley felt something in his elbow just over a week ago during his first rehab start. He was cleared of any structural damage the first time around, but the Dodgers are injecting dye into his elbow this time to get a better look. Obviously the odds of him returning as hoped in early May are totally up in the air.

Colby Rasmus (hamstring) is not in the Blue Jays' lineup Tuesday.

Rasmus left Sunday's game with a tight hamstring and the Jays wanted to give him an additional day of rest after the off day. He remains day-to-day. Jose Bautista is getting a start in center field in Rasmus' place.
Apr 15 - 7:09 PM

Carl Crawford is back in the Dodgers' lineup Tuesday.

Crawford missed Sunday's game with some tightness in his right side, but it was evidently just a minor issue. The Dodgers are using Andre Ethier in center field and Yasiel Puig in right, so Matt Kemp is on the bench.
Apr 15 - 6:26 PM

Michael Cuddyer is back in the Rockies' lineup Tuesday.

Cuddyer had to leave Monday's game with a right elbow contusion after slamming into the right field wall. He's surely still sore but is feeling well enough to give it a go. Cuddyer is playing first base, with Justin Morneau getting a night off.
Apr 15 - 6:23 PM

Koji Uehara (shoulder) is on track to be available out of the Red Sox' bullpen on Thursday.

Uehara long-tossed again Tuesday with greater intensity and is slated to throw a bullpen session Wednesday. He should immediately regain his closer duties, but Edward Mujica would be used if save situations came up Tuesday and/or Wednesday.
Apr 15 - 6:21 PM

Coco Crisp (hamstring) remained out of the Athletics' lineup Monday.

The A's thought Crisp would need just one day of rest for his hamstring issue, but he's apparently not feeling good enough to give it a go. Craig Gentry will receive another start in center field.
Apr 15 - 6:18 PM

Jose Reyes (hamstring) is on track to be activated from the disabled list on Friday.

Reyes played in an extended spring training game Monday and will play two rehab games with High-A Dunedin starting on Tuesday. If he gets through those contests with no setbacks, he'll be back in the lineup on Friday in Cleveland. Reyes was injured in the first inning on Opening Day when he aggravated his left hamstring injury.
Apr 15 - 6:13 PM

Tuesday night's game between the Rays and Orioles has been postponed due to rain in Baltimore.

Miguel Gonzalez was scheduled to pitch for the host Orioles and Brandon Gomes was supposed to fill in for Jake Odorizzi on the Rays' side of things because Odorizzi is sick. No makeup date has been announced.
Apr 15 - 5:26 PM

Wilson Ramos had the stitches removed from his surgically-repaired left hand on Tuesday.

Ramos, who underwent hamate bone surgery on April 2, can now begin doing basic rehab exercises. The hope is that he'll be ready to rejoin the Nationals' active roster around mid-May, though hamate bone injuries are notorious for sapping power in the short term and Ramos no longer carries nearly as much attraction as a fantasy option in standard redraft leagues.
Apr 15 - 5:23 PM

Dustin Pedroia (wrist) was given a cortisone injection Tuesday and is aiming to return on Wednesday.

Pedroia underwent tests on his left wrist Monday in Boston, which revealed only inflammation and no major structural damage. Jonathan Herrera is playing second base and Ryan Roberts is playing third base in Tuesday night's series-opener against the White Sox.
Apr 15 - 5:05 PM

Tuesday's game between the Braves and Phillies has been postponed due to storms in Philadelphia.

Cliff Lee was scheduled to pitch for the Phils and David Hale was on tap for the Braves. No makeup date has been announced. Lee will pitch Wednesday night and A.J. Burnett will be pushed back to Thursday.
