In 10 NASCAR XFINITY Series starts at Richmond International Raceway, Brendan Gaughan (No. 62 South Point Hotel & Casino Chevrolet Camaro) has completed 2,388 laps of the 2,401 (99.5 percent) of the laps that he has competed.

The Las Vegas native has earned two top-10 finishes and averages a starting position of 15.1 and finishing position of 16.23. Last spring, Gaughan started 15th and finished seventh at Richmond.-Richard Childress Racing

Rearview Mirror: Bristol Motor Speedway...Hemric had the strongest outing of his young NXS career last weekend at Bristol, scoring a win in Stage 2 of the race, finishing fifth and earning the $100,000 NXS Dash 4 Cash prize. William Byron (No. 9 Liberty University Chevrolet Camaro) has one previous start at Richmond International Raceway (RIR) that came in the K&N Pro Series East in 2015.

He qualified on the pole and finished sixth after leading 25 laps. The Charlotte native has the current leading average finish of 8.3 among NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) regulars this season. Byron has an average finish of 8.0 on tracks measuring one mile in length or shorter so far in the 2017 season. Byron’s primary sponsor, Liberty University, is located in Lynchburg, Va., two hours west of RIR. In addition to driving his regular No. 33 GEICO Chevrolet SS in Sunday's Cup Series Toyota Owners 400, Ty Dillon will pilot the No. 3 Red Kap/Prudential Overall Supply Chevrolet Camaro in the NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) ToyotaCare 250 at Richmond Int'l Raceway (RIR) on Saturday.

Dillon will make his ninth NXS start at Richmond. He has logged six top-10 finishes in his previous eight starts. His best finish of second place came in 2016. On Sunday, Dillon will make his first Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series start at the three-quarter-mile track.-Richard Childress Racing

Michael Annett (No. 5 Pilot Flying J Chevrolet Camaro) scored his second top-10 finish of 2017 last weekend and currently sits 10th in the NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) point standings.

The Iowa native has nine NXS starts at Richmond International Raceway (RIR), with one top-five and two top-10 finishes. His best finish of fifth came in the fall of 2012. Annett has completed just over 98 percent of laps attempted at RIR. Richmond will host the third of four Dash 4 Cash races in 2017. In addition to driving his regular No. 3 Chevrolet SS in Sunday's Cup Series Toyota Owners 400, Austin Dillon will pilot the No. 2 Rheem Chevrolet Camaro in the NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) ToyotaCare 250 at Richmond Int'l Raceway (RIR) on Saturday.

Dillon has made nine NASCAR XFINITY Series appearances at Richmond International Raceway, earning six top-10 finishes, one pole award and leading 65 laps. According to NASCAR's Loop Data Statistics, Dillon ranks second in the "Closers" category in the NXS at Richmond. -Richard Childress Racing

Heading to his home state of Virginia, Elliott Sadler (No. 1 Golden Corral Chevrolet Camaro) has led the NASCAR XFINITY Series point standings after every race this season, except one (Daytona).

In his last two races at Richmond International Raceway with JRM, Sadler finished third and fourth, respectively, for an average of 3.5. In both events, the No. 1 Chevrolet started in the top 10. DJ Kennington and Gaunt Brothers Racing will reunite for the upcoming Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race at Talladega Superspeedway on Sunday, May 7.

In February, Kennington, a native of St. Thomas, Ontario, became the first Canadian since Trevor Boys in 1988 to compete in the Daytona 500. He started 28th in GBR's No. 96 Toyota Camry before recording a 36th-place finish due to his involvement in a multi-car crash in the second half of the event. Additionally, veteran crew chief Mike Ford has joined GBR. Ford, whose record includes 25 victories in points-paying races and non-points exhibitions at the Cup Series level, previously worked with Bill Elliott Racing, Robert Yates Racing and Joe Gibbs Racing.-Rising Star Management

Dakoda Armstrong (No. 28 JGL Racing Toyota) will be making his seventh career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Richmond International Raceway.

Armstrong has a best XFINITY Series finish of seventh at the Virginia short track which occurred during the Fall race in 2014. In the two races last year at RIR, Dakoda steered his No. 28 Toyota to 14th and 16th place finishes.-Integrity Sports Marketing

Heading into the third XFINITY Dash 4 Cash race of the year, Justin Allgaier (No. 7 BRANDT Professional Agriculture Chevrolet Camaro) is the only NXS regular to qualify for the first two events, and took home the $100,000 in Phoenix.

In 12 NXS starts at Richmond International Raceway (RIR), the Illinois native has two top-five and four top-10 finishes, with a best effort of third (2011). Last spring, Allgaier qualified for the Dash 4 Cash at RIR and was in contention for the win when he was caught up in a late-race wreck.
