Max Gresham is the top rookie finisher in the Kroger 200 at Martinsville Speedway.

The No. 8 truck driver started 21st and finished 11th. This was ahead of the rest of the 2012 Rookie of the Year contenders. Gresham, who made 11 of the 19 races this season, moved up two spots to 25th in the 2012 Camping World Truck Series point standings.

Rogelio Lopez took the checkered flag for the NASCAR Peak Mexico Series Canel's 200 at the Super Ovalo Potosino after 147 exciting laps.

After starting in the tenth place, the No. 6 Akron/Farmacias del Ahorro Toyota driver gained nine positions and in the 136th lap he passed Homero Richards, Hugo Oliveras and Ruben Rovelo. He subsequently held the position for the remaining 11 laps despite Rovelo's pressure. The native of Aguascalientes managed to get his sixth checkered flag at this track, tying Germán Quiroga with the most wins at the 804 meters (half a mile) oval, before more than 8,000 fans. The podium was completed by Rubén Rovelo, who finished second and Hugo Oliveras, both members of HO Speed Racing. Homero Richards, followed by Héctor Aguirre, Manolín Gutiérrez, Oscar Torres Jr., Rubén Pardo, Luis Felipe Montaño and Carlos Peralta got into the top-10.

NASCAR K&N Pro Series-West regular Julia Landauer (No. 88 One Love Fountain Ford) scored a seventh place finish in Saturday's K&N East (NKNPSE) Zombie Auto 125 at Bristol (TN) Motor Speedway.

She started 20th in the lineup and completed all laps of the rain-shortened 70-lap event. Landauer, who competed in only one of the three NKNPSE races so far this year, is currently 28th in the 2017 NKNPSE point standings after this event. She is also currently 12th in NKNPSW standings.

He started 30th in the lineup and completed all of the 300 laps run. Yeley, who entered all seven NXS races so far this season, is currently 14th in the 2017 driver championship point standings after this event.

Brendan Gaughan (No. 62 South Point Hotel & Casino Chevrolet Camaro) was credited with a 35th place DNF in Saturday's NASCAR XFINITY Series Fitzgerald Glider Kits 300 at Bristol Motor Speedway.

He started 12th on the grid and completed 243 laps of the 300 laps run before exiting the race (Accident). Gaughan, who entered all seven NXS races so far this season, slipped from 14th to 15th in the 2017 championship standings after this event.

The starting grid is set for today's NASCAR Peak Mexico Series Canel’s 200 at Autodromo Potosino in San Luis Potosi, Mexico with Hugo Oliveras sitting in the pole position.

With a time of 21.574 seconds, the No. 11 Monster Energy Toyota set the fastest lap on the 804-meter oval. Salvador de Alba Jr. will be his companion on the front row (21.718 second lap). Jorge Goeters, Abraham Calderon and Ruben Rovelo make up the rest of the top five in the lineup.

After nearly 18 months of work, the first ever points-paying race for the EXIT Realty Modified Touring Series took the green flag Saturday night at Monadnock Speedway (NH) with some of the best Modified drivers in the Northeast on hand.

Throughout the night, it was two of the very best in the game who went at it in a caution-free 125-lap affair. At the end of the night, it was "Preece Lightning" striking again with Ryan Preece besting 2016 Valenti Modified Racing Series champion Jon McKennedy for the victory.

After qualifying for the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East was cancelled due to rain on Friday at Bristol (TN) Motor Speedway, Harrison Burton started from the pole for the Zombie Auto 125 and led all but a few of the first 70 laps before the rain began.

Unable to dry the half-mile surface, NASCAR called the event short, handing the victory to 16-year-old NASCAR Next driver. In his 17th career start, the win is his first on any NASCAR K&N tour. Finishing second, NASCAR Drive 4 Diversity and NASCAR Next veteran Ruben Garcia Jr. showed potential all weekend after leading the way in the lone Friday practice session. The Mexico City, Mexico native drove back into the runner-up spot before coming up short of a win. Spencer Davis completed the top three while the Martin-McClure Racing duo of Hunter Baize and Chad Finchum rounded out the top five.

He put up a 21.493 second lap in the final practice. No. 20 Homero Richards, No. 31 Jorge Goeters, No. 11 Hugo Oliveras and No. 2 Abraham Calderon are the rest of the top five and No. 16 Mike Sanchez was the slowest of the 27 cars running in this final session.
