Riley Herbst will make his return to the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East as the circuit wraps up its 2016 season in Delaware at Dover International Speedway on Friday.

Herbst, who drives the No. 19 NOS Energy Drink Toyota Camry for Bill McAnally Racing (BMR), has two top-10 finishes in two K&N East starts. He finished ninth in making his series debut in the season opener at Florida’s New Smyrna Speedway in February and followed that up with a 10th-place finish at Bristol (TN) Motor Speedway in April. Herbst is running the full schedule in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West this season, while also competing in select K&N East races. He is sixth in the championship standings of the K&N West and third in rookie points – with seven top-five and 10 top-10 finishes in 13 races so far this year.-BMR

Ryan Blaney finished 12th in the Bad Boy Off Road 300 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, which was his fourth top-15 finish in the past five races.

Blaney failed to make the Chase and that might actually prove to be a benefit for fantasy players. It is keeping him under the radar screen for most of one’s competition and provides a great differentiator for a minimal charge.

Austin Dillon finished 16th in the Bad Boy Off Road 300 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, but he is going to need a top-10 and some help to advance to round two of the 2016 Chase.

Dillon is only five points behind Kyle Larson in 12th, but he needs a solid top-10 to overtake his competition. Dillon has not finished better than 12th in his last five attempts. His average finish of 14.2 in that span of races makes him a decent salary cap play in most games, however.

Tony Stewart finished 23rd in the Bad Boy Off Road 300 at New Hampshire and is still looking for his first top-15 of the 2016 Chase.

Tony Stewart came close at Chicagoland with a 16th. In 2005 after qualifying for that Chase he said this team was just taking up a spot better used by someone stronger; he won the championship. This year, he hoped to have the same late-season surge but is only one poor result away from being one of the first four out.

Chris Buescher finished 30th in the Bad Boy Off Road 300 at New Hampshire. He was 28th in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 400, which puts him on a pace to have the worst-ever average finish for a Chase contender.

In 2015, Aric Almirola was eliminated after one round in this knockout-style format with an average finish of 25.0. Buescher will need to finish 17th or better in the Citizen Soldier 400 at Dover International Speedway to match or improve on Almirola’s mark.
Sep 27 - 5:42 PM

Joey Logano finished 11th in the Bad Boy Off Road 300 at New Hampshire.

Last year, two disastrous results in the third round of the Chase sent Logano out of the top-10 for the only two times while he was a 2015 Chase contender. Logano’s 11th-place finish might not seem like much of a stumble, but he has not shown much strength in the past several weeks. Use him sparingly.

Chase Briscoe (No. 77 Big Tine Ford) was credited with a 22nd place DNF in Saturday night's Crosley 150 at Kentucky Speedway (Sparta, KY).

He leads Tom Hessert III by 560 points after the Crosley 150.

He started fourth in the lineup and completed all laps of the 106-lap race. He retains the lead in the 2016 NWMT championship standings after the event. He leads second-place Justin Bonsignore (Winner of the F.W. Webb 100) by 13 points.
Sep 26 - 11:21 PM
