Sprint Cup driver Kasey Kahne led the first practice session for the Nationwide Series Great Clips 200 at Phoenix International Raceway.

His lap of 132.851 mph in the No. 38 Chevrolet was quickest of the 45 cars out on the track for this session. No. 3 Austin Dillon, No. 88 Cole Whitt , No. 6 Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and No. 22 Brad Keselowski were the rest of the top 5 on the speed chart. John Blankenship in the No. 44 was the slowest.

Denny Hamlin won stage two of the Toyota/SaveMart 350k at Sonoma Raceway.

Hamlin inherited the top spot with the two dominators of the race, Martin Truex Jr. and Kevin Harvick pitted near the end of the segment in order to position themselves to win the overall race.

Jamie McMurray hit his rev limiter and damaged his engine on lap 36 at Sonoma Raceway (11 into stage two) and damaged his engine. He was pushed to the garage.

McMurray was another dark horse contender to win the Toyota/SaveMart 350. His incident happened on the same lap as the blown engine on AJ Allmendinger.

After apparently missing a shift, AJ Allmendinger blew his engine and will retire from the Toyota/SaveMart 350k at Sonoma Raceway.

Allmendinger has not had very good fortune at Sonoma, but if you rolled the dice on him as a dark horse, make sure to remove him from your NASCAR Fantasy Live roster.

AJ Allmendinger won the first stage of the Toyota/SaveMart 350 k at Sonoma Raceway.

Allmendinger was running third when the leaders Martin Truex Jr. and Kevin Harvick pitted - handing the stage win to him. About half of the lead lap drivers pitted under green - opting to give up stage points for a chance at winning the race. Allmendinger will now be mire in traffic, but should cycle to the lead at the end of stage two.

Kevin Harvick climbed from sixth to second with five laps remaining in stage one at Sonoma Raceway in the Toyota 350k.

It doesn't matter what track or type of course NASCAR runs, Harvick is going to be hard to beat.

Martin Truex Jr. took the lead from Kyle Larson on lap three of the SaveMart 350 at Sonoma Raceway and led 10 of the first 12 laps - and counting.

Truex was deemed one of the favorites by crew chiefs and other drivers. He won in 2013 and could be repeat. If he is in your NASCAR Fantasy Live garage, activate him.

Erik Jones sustained damage in the opening laps of the SaveMart 350k at Sonoma Raceway while racing Michael McDowell for 22nd.

Jones damage is significant, but should not impact his handling very much since it is on the passenger side door. Hang onto him if he is on your roster.

Jesse Little (No. 97 Rustic Rub Co./JJL Motorsports Ford F-150) finished seventh in Saturday night's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) Eaton 200 at Gateway Motorsports Park in Madison, IL.

He started ninth in the lineup and completed all laps of the 160-lap race. Little entered five of the 10 truck races so far this season and is currently 16th in the 2018 NCWTS driver point standings after this event.

ARCA Racing Series regular Zane Smith, driving the No. 54 Crosley Brands/LaPaz Margarita Mix Toyota Tundra, finished fifth in Saturday night's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) Eaton 200 at Gateway Motorsports Park in Madison, IL.

He started 10th in the lineup and completed all laps of the 160-lap race. Smith, who was making his first start of the 10 truck races run so far this season, is currently second in the 2018 ARCA Racing Series championship standings.

Chad Finley (No. 42 Auto Value Certified Service Centers Chevrolet Silverado) finished sixth in Saturday night's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) Eaton 200 at Gateway Motorsports Park in Madison, IL.

He started 20th in the lineup and completed all laps of the 160-lap race. Finley, who was making his first start of the 10 truck races run so far this season and will be running a limited Truck Series schedule this season, is currently 42nd in the 2018 NCWTS championship standings after this event.

Herbst, who was making his first start of the 10 truck races run so far this season, is currently 45th in the 2018 NCWTS championship standings after this event. He will make his second Truck Series start for Kyle Busch Motorsports at Las Vegas (Nev.) Motor Speedway in September in the No. 46 Tundra.
