Scott Lagasse Jr., a Florida native, will finish this season in his home state and begin next season even closer to his St. Augustine home when he enters the season-opening Nationwide Series race in Daytona in February.

Driving the No. 8 Team SLR Chevrolet, Lagasse Jr. will have the benefit of having Daytona 500 winning crew chief Tommy Baldwin serve as his crew chief in his second Nationwide Series race at the south Florida track. Roush Fenway Racing (RFR) will field three Lilly Diabetes Ford Mustangs at Road America for the NASCAR Xfinity race on Saturday, August 25th.

Lilly Diabetes Drive Down A1C driver Ryan Reed will be joined by Wisconsin hometown driver Ty Majeski in the No. 60 and IndyCar driver Conor Daly will round out the trio behind the wheel of the No. 6. Daly, like Reed, competes at the highest levels of racing while managing his Type 1 diabetes. The Xfinity race at Road America will be his NASCAR debut. "I’ve raced at Road America almost every year since I was 16 and have won there. I have driven almost every form of car, but this will be my first stock car experience." said Daly.-RFR
