Great Clips Inc. has joined Hendrick Motorsports as a primary sponsor of the team's No. 5 Chevrolets with driver Kasey Kahne for three NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races in 2013.

Great Clips was Kahne's co-primary sponsor in the Nov. 4 race at Texas Motor Speedway, marking the company's first-ever Sprint Cup sponsorship. In 2013, the Minneapolis-based company will be the No. 5 team's primary sponsor March 17 at Bristol, Tenn., July 28 at Indianapolis and Sept. 22 at Loudon, N.H.-Hendrick Motorsports

Kyle Larson wins two race awards in the Nationwide Series History 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Larson won the Mobil 1 Driver of the Race award. He also won the Sunoco Rookie of the Race award for finishing in fourth place which was ahead of the rest of the 2013 ROTY contenders. Larson moved up one spot to ninth in the 2013 Nationwide Series point standings after this event.

Sprint Cup regular (No. 18) Kyle Busch won the 32nd Annual History 300, his 57th victory (series most) in 253 NASCAR Nationwide Series races.

This is the No. 54 Toyota Camry driver's sixth victory and eighth top-10 finish in 2013. This is his seventh victory (series most) and 17th top-10 finish in 20 races at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Kasey Kahne was at the top of the speed chart in the Happy Hour practice leading to the Sprint Cup Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

The No. 5 Chevrolet SS driver put up a 188.594 mph lap in the final practice. No. 78 Kurt Busch, No. 11 Denny Hamlin, No. 20 Matt Kenseth and No. 16 Greg Biffle were the rest of the top five and No. 32 Timmy Hill was the slowest of the 40 cars running in this final session. Kahne also had a 10-lap average speed of 186.000 mph. This was the best of the 17 cars running at least 10 consecutive laps.

The No. 42 team is outside the top 30 in owner’s points and not guaranteed a start in this weekend’s NNS race. The qualifying speed of 176.916 mph, 36th fastest, was not good enough to make the cut for the event.

This is the No. 3 Chevrolet Camaro driver's fourth pole in 54 NASCAR Nationwide Series races. This is his first pole and ninth top-10 start in 2013. This is Dillon's first pole in three races at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
