JTG Daugherty Racing inked Brian Burns to return as crew chief of the No. 47 Toyota Camry with driver Bobby Labonte for the 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season.

With Burns and the addition of general manager Bobby Hutchens, the team made forward progress and turned in some respectable finishes. Near the end of the season, Burns served as interim crew chief for Labonte in the final six events and then moved to the Harrisburg, N.C. shop at the beginning of 2012. Midseason Burns was at the helm again when crew chief and general manager Todd Berrier parted ways with the team.-JTG Daugherty Racing

Ryan Truex (No. 16 TACTI/JMS Toyota Tundra) finished 20th in Wednesday night's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) Eldora Dirt Derby at Eldora Speedway in New Weston, OH.

He started eighth in the lineup and completed 146 laps of the 150-lap race. Truex, who competed in all 11 truck races so far this season, slipped from seventh to eighth in the 2017 NCWTS Championship point standings after this event.

In addition to driving his regular No. 27 Chevrolet SS in Sunday's Cup Series Brickyard 400, Paul Menard will return to the NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) this weekend at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in the No. 2 Richmond/Menards Chevrolet Camaro.

Menard has competed in five NXS Series events at the 2.5-mile IMS, finishing inside the top 10 in each start and completing every lap he has attempted. Menard has back-to-back top-five finishes at IMS, along with an average starting position of 8.2 and an average finish of 5.4.-Richard Childress Racing

Chad Finley has been away from the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards tour for a month…off on a new dirt late model adventure. But the dirt car's going back in the corner this weekend in favor of a good old-fashioned ARCA short-track war at Lucas Oil Raceway.

The Sioux Chief PowerPEX 200 is nearly here…going off under the lights Friday night, July 21. Finley will be going after his third top-five finish in 2017. Did we mention the St. Johns, Michigan second-generation ARCA racer also won at the Nashville Fairgrounds back in April? Finley also finished third at Toledo Speedway in mid-May and 12th at Michigan Int'l Speedway in June.
